This was the worst experience I hav ever had. I took my car twice for an oil leak every time they say it was one thing then became another. I paid over 5 hundred dollars for something tht was never fix. And when I got my oil change they didn't change the filter,and when I went back and told them about what they did about the leak they wanted to charge me another 400 hundred for the same problem. I advice any one if u want your car PLEASE don't take it to PRECISION TUNE. They take your money and don't own their mistake.. They need people who no what their doing. I have no complaints with this place. The staff was honest and nice. Eventhough the work on my car was expensive they didn't over charge me. I would of paid way more at a dealership. They also fixed my car in a day. Engine work takes time. They ordered parts, got them sent to the store and fixed it all before rush hour. Can't beat that. I first want to apologize to all those whom I could've helped had I posted this review sooner. The true extent of the atrociousness of service @ this shop is difficult to put into words. It's by far the worst mechanic shop I've ever been to, & I'm confident that it'll remain to the worst mechanic shop I'll ever experience in my life. I wrote a 4.5-pg single-spaced letter to the shop's owner to express all of the issues I experienced w/this shop in order to get reimbursed but am unable to post this long of a message on here, so I give short version of story. I dropped my car off in mid-December & paid $2000+ to this shop to perform repairs & maintenance on my car. The repairs were overpriced, but I paid them because I was in a rush to leave town. I picked my car up the following day. The mechanic said they weren't able to fix gas gauge but assured me they'd be able to fix @ extra cost to me when I returned if it wasn't working. I started my drive to FL; I believe this is when a tapping sound started coming from my car. I arrived in FL & heard a very distinct rattling sound coming from my car. I didn't drive my car during my 2-wk stay. When I began drive back to GA, rattling sound was still there. Eventually, car broke down, & I had to pull over & get my car towed to a mechanic. I had to find another way to get back to GA ASAP, a 5-hr away from where I broke down, as I had to be there that evening for work. The following week, I was left without transportation, complicating my ability to get to work & get food. That next weekend, I had to arrange transport back to the mechanic shop. The FL mechanics explained they found my radiator hanging from my car. It wasn't attached/ bolted onto my car. I believe they said something to the effect of that the radiator was hanging low enough to where a fan or belt ate through the radiator. They were adamant on the fact that whomever had worked on this car previously was to blame for this. I paid over $800 for the services. For rest of story, I abbreviate it even more since I run out of space. When I got back to GA & tried to get the repairs done that I'd already paid for, there were extreme delays in getting my vehicle in to be serviced. I brought it back later in the day on a weekday. I was told to bring it back the following day. I brought it back the following day. They told me it was too late to work on the car. I was told to come back that Saturday. Come Sat morning, I called the shop as I was about to drive over there & was told they couldn't take me that day. I was never called to notify me they could no longer take me. When I finally made it in, I wasted an entire day waiting. I thought it would be quick fix, & they didn't care to tell me they'd ordered a part for the car that would take most of day to arrive. After all that, they still couldn't fix it. Another weekend I'd called the shop the day before to ensure they could take me, & then the next day I got there, & the mechanic for my car wasn't there. When I did get my car in again, they wanted to charge me for more diagnostic work after I'd already paid $2000 to them! I refused to pay more. This was nearly a month of dealing w/this shop since I'd gotten back, & I'd still not received any correspondence from management about the damage reimbursement, despite numerous reminders to the shop. About 1.5 mos after telling the shop of the damages, the manager called me. He had an attitude & was very rude & texted me "we should have been contacted before anyone touched the vehicle that had to do w/our service." Let me remind you my car broke down in FL. I provided shop w/ receipts, and he was making me jump through hoops to get more "documentation" of what happened. Weeks more passed w/ no progress. Finally, I got in contact w/ shop's owner (more helpful) due to a change in management @ shop. I did get reimbursed for the damages and partially reimbursed (minus taxes) for the repairs the shop never completed on my car. Finally reimbursed nearly 4 mos after initial shop visit Nightmare over, right? No. When I was about to leave IL shortly after getting reimbursed, gas started spilling from beneath my car as I was gassing it up. In a rush to start the road trip & having little desire to go back to the shop, I had to drive from GA to IL w/gas spilling out of my car at every gas station. I also forgot to mention this earlier, but after one of the shop visits, my car charger didn't work anymore, so I had no ability to charge phone the whole trip. When I got to IL, a mechanic was able to fix the issue Precision Tune couldn't for around $500. They also told me whoever worked on it before didn't connect a hose or something and that's why my gas was spilling. Also, whoever worked on it before didn't plug my car charger back in. This shop costed me peace of mind, $$$, & lots of time to deal w/these issues (and write this review and the 4.5-pg letter). I had to take my car there 3 times and they still did not replac my 02 sensors properly on top of tht the Customer Service is a Solid 0

They put the break pads on my car incorrectly which needed up causing damage to my rims. It's just about the most basic thing to do, change break pads. Don't know how they messed that one up. Wouldn't go here again. read more

This place was fantastic. Professional manager and everyone works there are so nice. My car kept messing up. Did not want to go. I thought it was transmission. I took my car in and they had it diagnosed and fixed so fast. It was not my transmission. Thank goodness. Did not cost me a arm and leg. So reasonably priced. Tried charging me for 7 QTS of oil in a Ford Fiesta, doesn't take 7 QTS only take 4. Said they gave me a Military discount but didn't change the price. Took longer than they said and when I got it my car had oil on my gear shifter and also steering wheel. Won't be coming back or sending anyone. Going to check oil when I get home and hope it's not over filled or not changed. read more

These folks have taken very good care of my Truck. I had a antifreeze leak that was causing my engine to over heat I got stranded down the hill from the shop. They jumped in their van and helped me get up to the shop. They fixed my leak for a very good price. Some of the folks here are veterans and they care a great deal about soldiers. They helped me out in a jam. As long as I live here they will get all my business and I tell all the guys in my platoon to go here. read more

First off, let me start by saying this place doesn't even deserve a half of a star. If you want to wait all afternoon to have a "basic" oil change, then by all means, come here. I literally waited an hour and forty-five minutes for the most basic thing they charge for. There were only two people in front of me. Slow, slow, slow! The last time I was here, I ended up leaving because my car had not been pulled into the garage after being there for 30 minutes. It was a Saturday so I figured OK they are super busy. Today, I figured, OK it's a THURSDAY in the middle of the afternoon. Shouldn't take long right? HA! They even charged me an extra $5 to take off a "skid-plate". Something that covers the oil pan underneath. It had 4 bolts. Big deal to them I guess. Maybe a valet guy should charge more because he has to open the door to drive the car. What a joke. Then these guys tried to sell me $99.00 worth of additional services and said it would only be an additional 30 minute wait. Yeah right! You can't even do a basic freakin' oil change in a hour and forty-five minutes! JERKS!! Never again!!! read more

I went in for the premium oil change which includes the oil change, top off all fluids, check and adjust tire pressure, etc. The service was done in a matter of 20-25 mins. I wasn't given the verbal status of my vehicle but it was written on receipt. I guess I would recommend it to others. Theyre not really busy so you can get in and out. My tire pressure wasn't adjusted though because I checked. read more

I called in and got a quote told the young lady that I didn't know the cylinder but I have been there a couple times before so it should be in the system. She quoted me for a 4 cylinder and it was roughly around 109 which was fine. Dropped my car off had other services as well that wasn't a bother. But when I got there it was $400 total. That was a big shocker because I was misquoted and my car was in the system a simple mistake could have been avoided with her checking in the system read more

I visited the Victory Dr location for an oil change. I ended up getting the air filter as well. The tech did not put the "splash" guard back under the vehicle correctly and it fell down when I pulled out of the lot. I turned around and went back FURIOUS! The "district mgr" Ashley was there and tried to cover up for their mistake, although the men were already trying to fix it and had apologized to me. My car is now knocking and the pan was not secured. It ended in Ashley calling the police (she beat me to it), which was a good thing bc I wanted the activity documented to go along with my video recordings of the techs and Ashley as well as pictures. I was told that the store was a franchise and no one could direct me to the franchise owner. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I will be filing for a refund as well as any fees I acrue from the Honda dealer when I take the car. read more

I came in just to get a routine oil change and was greeted by the store manager Mr. Terry and was very pleased with the time and effort he took to explained the benefits of getting a full synthetic oil change vs. a regular oil change. In the past I was serviced at the other Precision Tune off of veterans parkway which is closer to my home. However, none of the associates had ever been so kind nor took the time to offer additional services and explained the value of the up keeping and routine maintenance. I have now found my new home for auto care even if i have to travel a bit further. read more

The waiting room is large with plenty of seating and coffee, which is a good thing because you will wait a LONG time. The was one car in front of me and it took over 45 minutes until they did their "inspection" of my vehicle and well over an hour just to change my oil. They recommended over $600 of maintence on my vehicle, most of what I have done in the last 3 months, and I only came for an oil change. I have worked for other oil change shops and this place is very overpriced and they will recommend anything they can even if your vehicle doesn't need it. read more
