Took my car to the store on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 to try to a tire fixed or replaced using my Road Hazard warranty, which is supposed to be nationwide. The clerk at the counter told me they don't honor a warranty not written by a "corporate" store. The clerk didn't bother reading the warranty paperwork to find the phone number they could call to verify coverage. Bad business. read more

These guys took the car in after a small independent went over their ability and it was a mess. It was a week and it had a hiccup after we picked it up and they got right on it and we are both pleased with customer service and their ability. The starter went out on my car in Ocean Springs. I had to have it towed back to Gulfport and my son told me to have it towed to the Firestone on Courthouse Road. I'm so glad I listened to him. My car was towed there on a Friday and by noon Saturday, I had my car back. The customer service was EXCELLENT. The guy who called and kept me informed about my car was so nice. His name was Corey. I took my car to have tires put on it. I already had the tires they just needed to be balanced and installed. Firestone was very quick to get the job done and it was a fair price. However, and here's the reason they're getting 1 stars... one of my tires wasn't on all the way and it came off on the way home. My tire and car weren't damaged but I had to put the tire back on myself. Then take it all the way back to the shop to have them fix their mistake. Mistakes happen...? This was kind of serious. I won't be trusting anyone with tires again. Even the "professionals". Trust but verify. read more

They were great my engine blew in my car and they helped me get another with a 3yr warranty. Unfortunately the engine that they put in was faulty but they towed it to their shop for me free of charge and had another engine in fast! Then a week after having my car back my starter in my car went and again they towed my car to their shop at no charge and got me a very sizable discount and my car was ready to go the next morning!!! Since I wrote my last review the district manager contacted me and asked if he could evaluate my car to see what was going on. I agreed, and although he did determine there was about $300 of the recommended services that I did NOT need, I still left with a laundry list of $500 in services HE recommended. Oh, and some free windshield wipers, so that was nice of him. I did appreciate his honesty when it came to him admitting his people did try ripping me off, but I will still tell the world not to go to Firestone. read more

I was recently helping my son move to Texas from Georgia, and we experienced car trouble while in Gulfport, MS. My son and I showed up to the Firestone on Courthouse Rd around 2 p.m. on a Saturday with our packed car and U-haul. I didn't have high hopes that we would get our car fixed since it was late in the day. We were greeted by the manager, Henry Adams, who went above and beyond to get us taken care of. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. After a couple of hours, our car was repaired at a price that could not be beat! We left on Sunday, and our car made it another 800 miles without any problems. Thank you for making a difficult cross-country move less painful! read more

I had an unexpected and extraordinary experience with this Firestone store. We experienced total brake failure on our 2012 Ford Edge. The mechanic and Jerry, the manager, urged us to contact Ford before we authorized the work because they thought the failure of the brake booster should not have happened on a car just three or four years old. Although the car was well beyond warranty we called Ford and indeed there was a special warranty extension for just such a problem. We took the car to the Ford dealership for the work which should be covered under the special extended warranty. Firestone did not have to make that suggestion and in doing so lost a $650 job but saved us that much and made lifetime friends of Firestone out of us. Firestone always has a list of costly repairs that I do not need. They add extra repair work to things I already know need to be repaired. My husband is a mechanic by trade, but does not have time to do the work, so we take it there to have the problem repaired. This last trip once again my husband wanted them to show him what they where talking about regarding an $1100 repair job. Of course he caught them in a lie once again!!!! FIRESTONE if the pay topped what he makes now I would suggest he apply. STOP trying to take advantage of people!!! read more

i went to get my tires rotated since they were purchased from firestone. they rotate your tires for free as long as you own the truck. i specifically asked if i needed a front end alignment because the inside of my front tires were wearing really bad and the truck had front end damage from an accident. i was told i did not need this. now i need new front tires because of the wear on the inside of the tires. oh and they did forget to mention that the steering link rods were needing to be changed out and could have caused a very bad accident or the truck to flip whenand if they broke loose. i also had a problem out of my back tire where it kept leaking air. i took it back to firestone on severla different occasions to no avail. they said nothing was wrong with the tire. it just had a slow leak they said that they could not locate. finally after getting tired of adding air to the tire every week i took it to another tire shop and the problem was 2 nails in the tire. wow and firestone could not find the problem. i would suggest if a lady brings her vehichle in she would expect the employees at firestone to be honest. i was willing and wanting to pay for what ever repairs needed to be completed. but was told i did not need any at that time. now i need to buy 2 new front tires when i should not have to. read more
