I had a bearing issue for a while that was no big deal but then one day I hit a curb really really bad in my awd Audi Q5 and that minor wheel bearing issue had become exponentially worse to where I was extrEmely nervous to drive it anywhere. Audi are "special" to my dismay and my income level definitely does not meet the level of being able to afford one comfortably. after having done lots of research I found jamison auto group. they were able to fix both my front wheel hubs in a reasonable amount of time and they partner with a financing company, which allowed me to be able to address this issue with my car immediately before it got worse. what I like about them the most is that they didn't try to swindle me into extra services, or try to talk me out of things that I specifically wanted. they actually did what I needed them to do and actually listened to what I wanted. read more

Please disregard my previous comments about Jamison Auto Group being a great group of folks. I took my Classic 69 Chevelle to them trusting that they knew what they were doing. I was in town for Cruising the Coast and was in need of a new alternator. I called my mechanic in my hometown and he stated to me that any good mechanic should be able to handle the repair and as it was a basic repair. Jamison Auto Group we went to Jamison Auto Group and explained the problem and relayed what our mechanic conveyed to us. Low and behold shortly after picking the car up we noticed Clue # 1 the wiring to the alternator was melting and burned up. We took it immediately back to Jamison Auto Group and they stated they had put the wrong gauged wiring on the car. We get back home and a short time later Clue #2 the volt meter was never below 16 and then later Clue #3 heard a chirping from the alternator fan belt and discovered it was very loose. We immediately took the car to our normal mechanic and he advised us that the alternator was the wrong one for the car. My mechanic fixed the issue after another $825 cost to us and said he was surprised that there was no other damage to the car as having the wrong alternator could have burned up all the electrical wiring not to mention caused other damage. Clue #4, I called Jamison Auto Group multiple times and never received a call back. I finally talked to Jamie when he was the one to answer the call. Clue #5 I explained what had transpired and he refused to accept any responsibility and put the blame and responsibility totally onto us and said he just put the alternator you wanted me to put on it and its not the one that he would have personally put on it. I explained to him that I was not a mechanic and trusted him as the mechanic would put the right alternator on it and he never conveyed he would not have put that one on. I explained to him that I expect a mechanic to advise me. I asked Jamison Auto Group if they would at least be willing to buy back the brand new wrong alternator from me, Jamie refused and stated that he only put the alternator that I told him to put on it. I Jamie and Jamison Auto Group are extremely unprofessional and clearly do not stand behind their work, they clearly do not know what they are doing and they expect their customers to tell them the right parts to put on cars. All I was expecting back was for them to buy back the alternator at a reduced cost so I could recover some of my costs but they would not even do that, shame on Jamie and Jamison Auto Group. Maybe Jamison Auto Group should stick to European Cars to work on as they clearly have no clue had to work on basic good old American made classic cars. read more

I took my 1965 Mustang into Jamison Auto Group in early March 2025. I found them online advertising a specializing in European, Classic, and Muscle Cars. I was having problems getting the car started. I was also having some overheating problems, and I wanted them to look at my brakes (4 wheel discs) to see if we could improve the brake pressure. It's now October of 2025, I'm about $10,000 in receipts, and the next receipt will be for a tow truck to pick up the car because won't start. It stripped the starter, flywheel, or both when I went to pick it up after it went untouched for 3 weeks AFTER I brought it back the first time. The first time I picked the car up, it smoked the entire ride home, and the car idled up and down between 500 and 2000 rpms. The "new" exhaust sounded like it was made out of tin. To their credit, the owner admitted the carb "wasn't right" when I picked it up and suggested that I FIX IT. It was fine when it came in. I brought the car back in for the exhaust and carb to be fixed. The owner, Jamie Jamison, said he would try to get the car ready for me to drive in Cruisin' the Coast. He then took vacation and went to the show leaving my car untouched for the next 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, I told them I'll pick the car up. When I got there, they told me "it's doing the starter thing, again", and the owner walked away. I tried to start the car, it stripped the starter (and the flywheel, I'm sure), and I had to pay to have the car towed to an actual repair shop. On the tow truck leaving Jamison, I got a good look at my exhaust. I'm putting in pictures. Neither pipe is even or symmetric. One pipe is touching the gas tank. The other pipe is pointing at the leaf spring and blows directly into the back valance which, of course, blows black soot on the valance and passenger side fender. The owner WAS proud to tell me he saved himself some money using the cheapest mufflers Jegs had, so at least they ARE as cheap as the exhaust system sounds. I tried to be a good, considerate customer. I paid incrementally to keep financial pressure off the business, was very understanding when there were delays for other customers, and listened to their advice on exhaust and other things. It was a huge mistake. They were paid, and the car won't start, and when the car does start, it smokes, won't idle, and sounds terrible. Jamison WAS kind enough to use pictures of my car with inaccurate updates on their company's Facebook page bragging on their work. Not buyer beware but buyer move on. read more

Had the check engine light come on, so I stopped to have it checked and fixed if possible. Jamie checked it for me himself, found no issues, reset the error and have had no problem since. So I brought my Mercedes in for a check engine light and a squeaking coming from the rear suspension, and I could not be more satisfied with the diagnosis, repair, and customer service demonstrated by Jaime and his crew! Unlike a previous mechanic I had work on my car, Jaime walked me through the repair process and was very transparent about the work to be done. It turns out somewhere in the previous ownership of my 2001 E320 the entire hydraulic suspension had been disabled with some really shoddy rerouting of suspension lines. The bottom line, the vehicle was bottoming out and pretty unsafe to drive. Jaime not only showed me what was messed up, but also updated me on the progress of the repair. The car now drives like an entirely different car, smooth, responsive, and doesn't squeak. All in all, Jamie and his folks did a lot of work on the back and I am thoroughly happy with the work. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR VEHICLE. Took my car in 2 weeks ago. Stated all the problems it had. Told them it shows it was an O2 sensor issue they said it was not that. They guaranteed it was the timing chain and it would fix all problems including my ac going out. Had to constantly CALL to get a quote and update. They LIED over and over but promised my car would be better and 100 percent fixed. Got my car back yesterday after paying over $1600 dollars. But trusted their 100 percent guarantee and promise. Paid and ran my car home. Ac was worse and completely not working now. Hissing and hot air. Which is was working BEFORE. ENGINE STILL IDLING BAD WHICH IS MAIN REASON I BROUGHT IT IN. They claimed they fixed it. And said it could be a "new issue". I havent even had my car back for 24 hours and only drove it 5 miles today. It sounds worse than before and they ac is completely broke. Called and they stated they do not work on AC systems and the "fixed" my car. Would not offer a refund. Will not bring it back to them because they literally made my car up WORSE. Threatened me and said I can contact whoever they are "protected" and I will not get my money back. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. NO ETHICS. NO MORALS. The owner literally met my special needs son and still refusing to refund me so I can find a reputable company to fix my car so I can take him to school and run errands. I gave Jamie a chance to work on my BMW 540i. He was extremely knowledgeable about his craft. Best of all, he has integrity and believe in good service and workmanship. This was very important quality to me in my search for a Non-Stealership/Independant BMW mechanic. I don't mind paying to get my vehicle fixed, but I don't want to feel like I just got taken advantage of. I'm a DIY'er so jobs that I outsource to shops tend to be things that I can't do myself or don't have the proper tools. In my case, I had an issue with my brake system. Jamie wound up having to overhaul/replace the whole shooting match to resolve the issue. The cost to me was a faction of what BMW of Mobile would have charged me. I saved hundreds of dollars in the repair. Also he was able to determine that another local independent shop basically swindled me. They will be getting a review as well.
