For the past few months, Firestone has been my go-to car shop for all my car needs. This was my first time going to this location and I'm sure that when I'm in the area, I'll go back. I opted to wait for my car to be serviced instead of leaving and I'm glad I got there when I did because I didn't want to stand. There are only 5 chairs and I was the 4th person. I believe this store takes pride in their establishment because not only was it clean, the furniture wasn't worn out (no rips; no tears) and the carpet looked brand new (no stains). I didn't mind waiting in the store because they had closed caption tv and I had my phone for entertainment. They also offered complimentary coffee but I'm not a coffee drinker so I'm sure most would appreciate the gesture. Too bad for those of us wanting cold water on a hot summer day :(. However, I do know that they don't have to offer anything to customers in the first place. I was notified about the diagnosis of the car within 40 minutes of arriving. I was also told it smelled like I had a possible engine leak but after investigating thoroughly, they couldn't find a leak so that meant no extra charge. They could have convinced me that there was a problem and been charged for something that I didn't see with my own eyes but I appreciate their honesty and them not taking advantage of the situation. The service cashier, Jonathan, was very pleasant and kept me posted on the status of my car. He didn't have an attitude and he spoke to me in a friendly manner. The repairs were completed about 2 1/2 hours later. For the inspections and front/rear brake job that they did, I feel it wasn't that long of a wait. this was an awful experience. Went in because of an oil leak. Next day, they came back with a $1500 quote to replace my radiator. If you know anything about cars, oil does not flow through the radiator. Coolant does. When I called this out to the technician, he couldn't answer any of my basic questions But kept insisting I needed a new radiator.I'm glad I knew at least a little bit of how cars work, otherwise I'd be completely out that money. My buddy and I lifted it up, watched some YouTube videos on oil flow, and found that one of the hoses just needed to be tightened. Horrible experience, and I will be telling all of my friends and family and anyone who needs mechanical work to stay away from Firestone. read more

They even came to my rescue when I was broken down on the side of Highway six! The Firestone on Hwy 6 in Missouri City, TX has permanently lost my business, and I hope you'll consider letting them lose your business, too. The technician damaged my rims during the installation of two new tires. I promptly reported it and after several weeks of back and forth, they filed a claim. Then after another two weeks, my claim was rejected. The claim found that because the damage was not caused by something I did (ie, no crash) and there was no damage to the wheels they did not work on (ie, no signs of general wear and tear on the vehicle as a whole), then the only explanation could be...some kind of defect from the manufacturer on coincidentally only the two wheels they worked on. Ridiculous! Own your mistakes, Firestone. Accidents happen, but then you correct them like a professional. read more

Do not come to this location! These people either lie about work that needs to be done or they simply do not know what they are doing. I went here because my engine was overheating. They told me that I essentially had to get a whole new engine replaced and that it would cost up to $11,000 dollars so i decided to get a 2nd opinion. I went to the dealership and they told me that the engine was fine i just had a blown fuse that was causing the engine to overheat. Terrible business and will never come here again! read more

I don't think I've ever given a 5-star rating to a car place before, but this place was quick, friendly, and went the second mile. I had a blowout when I was on the way to pick someone up at the airport. I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it to a repair shop by closing, so I called this place while waiting on a tow truck. I barely got there by closing and they stayed late to get me back on the road. Lifesaver, not sure what I'd have done if they hadn't stuck around to help me out of a jam. read more

Workers here are arrogant and act as if they don't want to be bothered. The check in guy with glasses and skinny he's the worst. I typically don't come to this one but when I made the appointment I made it here by mistake. Not sure if it's because I'm a female, another race or if this is just how they are. This location always has tons of cars in the parking lot at night so I'm guessing they're pretty slow about fixing things. I wouldn't recommend this location and this is just my opinion. read more

Not recommended at all. I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLE BACK THERE! I went in to get brakes fixed and to stop annoying squeaking. He tells me they only needed to fix the brake line and the pads and rotors were fine. $400 later brake line was fixed but brakes still squeaking when pressed. The guy takes it back in and checks, comes back 10 min later. This dude tells me they only needed to "file down the top layer of the pads that may have gotten wet." Wait, what? No doubt it stopped the squeak for 6 miles of driving, but not only is the squeak back but now a noticeable vibration. Had to take my car to a different mechanic who proceeds to tell me it wasn't the brakes but the struts. Aren't the professionals supposed to tell the customer the problems? No stars. Zero stars! I bought lifetime alignment 9 years ago since it was lifetime I have taken my car to service many times. Today I go to this location and they say i do not have lifetime alignment, It is not shown in their system. I will need to find the invoice which was given to me at the time of purchase. So the crooked people either deleted or do not want to bother to check because it's already paid for so how can they get out of it and that is the only thing I can think of. How? And why else this would happen? Definitely they are crooked, thieves and unhelpful people who wouldn't want to even bother check for it. I came back home and looked for the invoice and thankfully i found it. If you think you could trust them and there system to protect your purchase than think twice. And yes these invoices prints fade away so might as well frame it or laminate it or do not bother giving your business to them. I do not take my car to firestone because of poor customer service in the past and i do not trust when they say something is broken and needs service. The only reason i am compiled to go is because i had bought lifetime alignment. Replying to the comment: 3 trips was a charm, automatically everything was in the system, while i spent hours finding the invoice. I don't recall one person "apologizing for this" at your store. I have been taking my cars to this shop for a few years. I trust them. Today I was on my way to get them to check a used car that I recently purchased about 6 days ago. This car was smoking a little the day before so I wanted them to investigate. The car stopped on me literally about 50 feet from the Firestone shop. I had to get out of my car and run across the highway to get to Firestone. I walked in and spoke to Johnathan and told him the situation. He was very compassionate and wanted to help me. Because my car was blocking traffic, some of the employees of Firestone went over and above (to say the least), and pushed my car to the Firestone garage. I felt bad that I didn't get to thank all of them. I really appreciated this act of kindness. They didn't have to do it but they did! Thank you Firestone!!!!! read more

Please don't waste your money at this location. They charged me for 4 spark plugs, coil replacement and labor $900. The only catch is they didn't replace all 4 spark plugs. I didn't want to risk taking it back and had my regular mechanic take a look, only to discover they only replaced 1 spark plug. When I called to complain they said the manager is not in and would give me a call back and proceeded to tell me I need to return the old spark plugs. I couldn't get them back as my mechanic had already tossed them. They robbed from me and laughed in my husbands face when he asked for a refund on the spark plugs. Never again will I take my car here. Please do better for your customers and have the courtesy to try and resolve YOUR mistakes. read more

Inept or Incorrigible? We brought my wife's car in last week, mainly because they were close to the house. We had a good idea what was wrong with the car and told them the Two Minor problems we were having. They insisted they had to run their own diagnostic at our expense. What we got in return for the almost $900 spent on recommended work?... Absolutely nothing! Both problems we had, we are still having! When she called to schedule some time for them to fix it, the guy was rude, accusatory (said it was our fault), and then hung up on her. I had a nail in my tire and I was so pleased when the guy at Firestone said that he could fix it no problem as good as new. There was no charge and he he even rotated and rebalanced the tires all for no charge because I had purchased the right package when originally buying the tires. I brought my car in for an oil check and state emissions test. They indicated it would be an hour and it's been an ongoing ordeal. They came up to me telling me my windshield wipers did not work and I needed to replace them.... well they worked in the morning and showed no signs and of breaking. I also overheard the manager ordering more windshield wiper motors.... sounds suspicious. The 2.5 stars at this location is no joke! Beware and run the other way! read more

Had an oil and filter changed in 2018 on my 2004 Ford Expedition. Did not get an oil change for a long time and instead I have been topping off my oil. Went in for an oil and filter change 2 weeks ago. Was told that the threads on the drain pan plug was stripped. The mechanic i believe Chris kept asking me if i had taken the vehicle somewhere else for oil change in between and in said no. He excused himself for a little to go check on the filter and came back and agreed that he last oil change was performed by them cos the filter is theirs. After a while Jonathan who said he was the manager came and said the plug is stripped due to waer and tear. Clearly the mechanic who performed the oil change the last time did not plug it in right or tightened it too tight to a point where the plug stripped. I was told that just the plug cannot be replaced and the entire pan must be replaced so quoted me $500 something for it . They just blamed it on the age on my vehicle to wash their hands off . I argued that their mchanic messed up and to do the right thing and fix it. But Jonathan refused. Try and avoid this place. Incompetant mechanics. Can't do a simple oil change right. read more

I hardly ever write reviews but this was a horrible experience. I was a first time customer of Firestone. I told the technician that I possibly needed an alignment because my car starts to wobble when I drive 40 mph or more, and I'd like that fixed. He proceeded to tell me that I needed a balance and rotation instead. I trusted his expertise and went along with his advice. After paying for the service, I asked him if my car was still going to wobble. He said yes because I needed the CV axles replaced, which he never mentioned until I asked. I asked him if I even needed the balance and rotation, he said "not really." After leaving there, the trunk of my car would not open from my key, the inside panel, glovebox or the emergency trunk button. When I took it back, another technician sarcastically told me twice, that they didn't need to go into my trunk to rotate my tires. He obviously didn't believe that it could possibly be their fault. I have had my car for over five years and have never been unable to open my trunk until leaving Firestone. He then rudely tells me that it would take half a day for them to get to my vehicle because there was a line. This was on a Sunday morning, I was there when he unlocked the door. read more

I normally go to the Pearland location on Broadway but when I called there to inquire about purchasing 4 new tires, the lady I spoke to was very impatient with me and this led me to go this location. The saying when one door closes, a bigger one opens. I enjoyed my time here. I spoke to Ms. Froso Diassakos and I challenge anyone who will not go to this location after talking to her. She was patient and made the extra effort to see what discounts could be available for me. I was in and out on a Saturday within 3 hours. Found my new home. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Seriously. I came 6 months ago to get my brakes checked. And they told me around 6:30pm right before they closed that all 4 needed to be changes along with the rotators. Was gonna come out to 800 dollars. Went to another place and it turns out I only needed two changes. The other two had 80% life left. Such a rip off. Then last week I came one more time just for an oil change and they tell me that the cap to open up the filter was too tight and I needed to buy a replacement metal cap for 30 bucks. I've had my car for 5 years and no one has ever said such thing. Sure enough I went to another place and no issues with this cap. They are horrible. I've never been so disappointed with firestone. Never coming back here again. Seriously. I was a dumb enough to come back a second time for an oil change and just waste my time here. They can even get an oil change right. The managers are trash. To busy flirting around with there employees to get anything done. Tell Heidi to price out the tickets instead of flirting at the first pod with the lead tech all day. Super busy store , never expect same day service if your waking in. Firestone tires are trash , stick with Bridgestone if you want anything decent , labor rate is about 115hr , just go to the dealership it's the same price. Mark up on parts can get to nearly %100 on small items. The parts they order never last I'm on my 3rd set of outter tie-rods and my 2nd set of axles my 2nd alternator my 2nd starter ,my 2nd set of rear brake pads , gotta pay labor each time they go bad. For some reason they can never find the problem while it's still under warranty surprise surprise. Management has trashed this store as they obviously don't care about customers unless you spend tons of money for junk parts ordered from autozone. Once again you have more than 1 employee so stop flirting and pick up the 5 tickets hanging in the window to be priced out mrs Robinson. HR should definitely come take a peak at what's going on in there and save what's left of that store it's gone far down hill the last few years and it's vary obvious why. read more

I came to drop off my truck at 8am and they told me it would be done at 11am. I called at 12pm they told me it was in one of the bays and would ball me when it's done. So I got tired of waiting so I went back up to the shop and they haven't even moved my truck yet. All I ask is for honesty but oh well can't win them all. They lost our company work. read more

My wife took our vehicle to the Firestone Auto Store on highway 6 in Missouri City for an oil change. She had to wait three hours because they continually put other cars ahead of hers. Finally she told the manager that she would be leaving in 20 minutes so they hurriedly drove her car into the oil stall. They then presented her with an invoice of $1,096. She then questioned this and the manager stated that the car needed new tires. She said that she did not come into the store for new tires just an oil change. Then the manager gave my wife a bill for $118 for the oil change. She told them she refused to pay that amount for an oil change. That she could go to other places and get an oil change for about $35-$40. She finally payed the crooks $95 and left. read more

And have asked me what do I expect if I walk in? Jonathan G and other associates needs to work harder and I don't know what manager Hydee is doing in this Firestone branch. I called to make an appointment to have my vehicle aligned using my previously purchased lifetime alignment package. I was told that an appointment was not necessary but that I would have to wait about one and a half hours to complete the alignment. I arrived and asked that they also rotate the tires that I had previously purchased here. After two and one half hours the alignment was complete but I was advised that the tires were so bad that they would not rotate them. I was given a price for four new tires. I asked if we could go look at the tires as the vehicle was still up on the rack. As we looked at the tires, I commented that they looked very good with no uneven wear and a significant amount of tread left. We are talking about over 3/16 inch of tread at the lowest point. The salesman stated that they had less tread than the state of Texas recommended and so he thought they should be replaced. I advised Firestone that I was happy with the current status and would like the vehicle completed so I could leave. After an additional twenty minutes the vehicle was still on the rack. Someone forgot to tell the alignment tech that we were done. The store manager completed my paperwork indicating that the alignment was completed as was the rotation and balance. When I advised him that his store had refused to rotate and balance the tires, he shook his head and tore the receipt up. I cannot recommend this store. I believe that they try to sell goods and services that are not needed. read more

Firestone Missouri City has an exceptional team and staff! Lee Rosenbaum, the Store Manager has always shown an elite level of professionalism, care, concern, and genuineness for all of his customers when I have been present. I have had the honor and privilege of meeting his wife and son, the families of other employees and staff and other customers have shared the exact same sentiments. They recently had a customer appreciation event that cater not only to the customers themselves, but the family members of the customers which included the children. They had food, a bounce house, drinks and areas to sit while waiting for vehicles to be serviced. They give realistic time frames for service, they do not use cheap parts and always try to use genuine products when making any necessary repairs. The price is fair, reasonable, and affordable. This establishment has never tried to charge me for more than what was necessary or sell repairs that wasn't needed. If I had a question or a concern and a repair was not needed his team would check out my vehicle and diagnose the issue as a courtesy. The previous review that I observe prior to making mine is completely misconstrued and is false and completely a scam attempt in my personal and professional opinion. Lee has never displayed any melicious, ill -willed behavior, or indication of unprofessionalism towards anyone, self- included, that would imply he would risk his job by committing such a deplorable act. This is our local neighborhood Firestone and I would hate to see Lee Rosenbaum or any of their team damage or given black mark for something that is obviously not the truth. Replaced a balljoint on my truck and brought it here for the lifetime alignment. Dropped it off first thing in the morning and was ready late in the day. When I picked it up was told I needed new camber and caster washers, but everything was done. Well fast forward 3 months.. Noticed the inside of the tires wore faster than the rest of the tread. Didn't think much about about alignment cause the tires were older anyway. Bought a new set of tires and decided to have it aligned again. Brought it to a different Firestone in Beaumont TX since I was visiting family. Told the salesman at the Beaumont location about replacing the camber/caster washers and agreed to pay the charges. 45min later I receive a phone call saying there's a problem cause the caster adjustment pins are missing. I replied they have been missing for years and the other Firestone location aligned it without them. He then tells me he called this location to ask them how they aligned the truck and was told they only adjusted the toe of the truck and not the camber. Then told me I need to call and get my money back cause they should have never charged me for lifetime alignment when they only adjust the toe. Not sure if that's the reason the inside of the tires wore out before the rest, but the only reason I'm giving two stars is because after I called the manager they agreed to refund the alignment without arguing with me or the other Firestone salesman. read more

On this visit, I got the Lifetime Alignment service for my Ford F-150 truck. The price was better than what Helfman Ford quoted, and considering I can go back for an alignment check every 5,000 miles, it's an absolute bargain at less than $200. This review is more for Firestone in general. Took my car with recent purchase of Firestone runflat tires with lifetime repair into this shop to remove what looked like a screw. I was told by this shop that if the screw penetrated, they would have to replace the tire because they are not allowed to repair runflat tires. When a different Firestone service center sold me the tires, I was not informed that the tires were not repairable, instead they told me I had lifetime repair. read more

Ladies be careful dealing with this store if he is the manager. And this wasn't the first time. I came in before and he did the same thing. Typically auto shops are notorious for ripping women off let alone men. But if this guy is managing, it makes me wonder what lengths he will go through to get a number.
