Came here on a Tuesday around 4 for a car inspection, called in advance and they don't take appointments. I was told it would be about an hour, and luckily it only took around 45 minutes. Waiting room is very clean, chairs are comfortable. There are 2tvs to watch, one on each side of the room. There's a drink station with complimentary coffee, water, sprite, coke, or Dr pepper. There's a popcorn machine, but it was off and empty :(. Staff was friendly. Was charged the standard fee of $25. Overall I would recommend this place for car inspections. read more

I was referred to this shop by my family when I moved to Stafford. The first repair was in 2019 that cost $1000+. I cannot find the receipt but this particular repair I was quite satisfied. And not once have I questioned your diagnosis and charges. Mr. Saqib, I may not be your top $$ customer so I may not be a loss to you. Sorry, I no longer want to continue doing business with your shop. I have attached photos of all the repairs done with my 2010 Nissan. Total repairs totaled to almost $4500 within months. My vehicle has been properly maintained since we used to own a repair shop since 1998 in Houston till we sold it. Within months apart my sensorS were replaced, my engine light would keep showing code P0171 from your scanner. My car would be @ your shop for hours. Your tech will turn off the engine light but I returned days after cuz it's back on. This happened 3x I keep driving back showing the same code. Svc Adv. : sensor may be defective. So I left my car again Your staff said they replaced the defective sensor (?) how can I know they did, but I trusted your shop. Then the eng light came back less than a week. This kept happening. On my 4th diagnosis same P0171, your svc adv quoted me $700 cuz he said I NOW have a vacuum leak Bank 1 (in writing). I had to take Uber to work again. My vehicle was there for a day and a half again. They did not notice the leak in the past 3 visits? I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I drove 17 miles with my engine light ON to the shop our family used to go to in Spring branch for years. Within minutes, the mechanic showed me the hose/line/pipe that connects to the sensor was DISCONNECTED. He showed me as he reconnects it and confirms there is NO LEAK . The engine light has never been lit since. They did not charge me. I will give your tech the benefit of the doubt the he FORGOT to reconnect it and not think maliciously after several visits. But when I was quoted $700 to a repair that was NOT necessary at all, I looked back now at the previous repairs your shop has done with my Nissan and made me think twice to take it back. I trusted your shop. But that pipe that was not connected back and a questionable $700 diagnosis based on the same issue, causing my engine light to come on many times bothered me. I cannot afford to buy a new/used vehicle. I will gladly pay a tow truck & Uber to work to take my vehicle back to the shop in Spring Branch. read more

Had a overheating problem with my suv. They told me that it was due to the known leak and the radiator/other cooling system parts had to be replaced. I wanted to ask why the cooling system kept leaking as I had replaced many of the parts recently. I also asked why a leak would cause overheating if there was nearly all of the coolant still in the tank. I was not arguing, I just wanted to know how they came to the leak conclusion so I could feel good about the -$900 I was spending. When I came to Rick he was immediately irritated. His response was there is a leak. The entire conversation wasn't more than a minute of his time but he still managed to define what 'leak' means, bad-mouth me to Tony while I stood there, and teach me that engine oil and coolant are different things. He offered to stop the work and I said okay. I am an easy going person and don't care much about customer service but in this case I believe they wanted to replace the first thing that occurred to them. It is probably a clog or the dreaded head gasket, but their troubleshooting stopped at "there is a leak". I'm sure they don't need my business. I wasted time and money. I would recommend Colony One Auto if you want to pay to be talked down to condescendingly or have something simple like a state inspection done. read more

Have you ever taken your car to a shop and asked for specific things to be done and something completely different was done. Colony One Auto Center you have burned me good. I dropped off my car for a CTV Transmission Flush (called and verified that they did it before I dropped off my car) and for you to verify that an O2 sensor need to be replaced. And YOU DID NOTHING. No flush. No O2 sensor. Just a diag that says bearings, axles, and cat conv. Then you told me that you don't do CVT Transmission Flush ⁉⁉⁉Then you proceeded to charge me 134.48 for a diag that I DIDNT ASK FOR!⁉⁉⁉⁉ You ought to be ashamed. You did nothing of what I asked but expected me to pay for what I didn't want. If you didn't do the CVT I wouldn't have even brought my car in to you . Horrible Experience. read more

I am now inside my car writing this review after i checked all the reparation that they did. I fixed my car here for the ac compressor, drive belt, and power steering issue. The work they did to my car is awesome. Not only they fixed all the problem but they also cleaned under the hood. So i am really satisfied with the result. My AC came back nice and cool and all the power steering fluid leaks are fixed. I gotta appreciate Tony here as he was updating me daily for every progress that they did. He explained the detail plan, parts that i need to change and not change before fixing my car. He also patiently answering all both my technical question and reparation cost challenge. It took 1.5 days to fix this but it is worth it. Price is not cheap though but for me as long as the quality is top notch, it is worth the price. I went the other day to other autoshop in the same avenue but they did not have the same quality. read more

This was a few years ago. I took my car to Colony One for an oil change. I woke up the next morning with motor oil all over my garage floor. The repair shop acknowledged that they did not tighten the screws. I had my car towed to the shop and they fixed the problem they created. They offered to clean up my garage floor but never followed up. I didn't trust them to clean my floor, so I didn't pursue it. When I arrived at the shop that day, two of their workers were having a verbal argument. That was already a bad sign that this is a not a good shop. This happens a few years ago. Every time I see the oil stains on my garage floor, I'm reminded of this fiasco. read more

The only place I take my cars for 20 years or so. Easy to drop off late at night for the next day. Valet driver all day to get you to work or pick your car up at lunch to get your car back. Friendly courteous staff, knowledgeable mechanics, prompt diagnosis, reasonable wait times. We do our oil, rotation, maintenance here too. We also pay a minimal fee to have them inspect used cars before buying and then use that info to negotiate the price. Love that service! 24 hour towing if you use Imperial towing which is handy too. read more
