This'll be a short one becaus I didn't even get past the first phone call. I called to ask for an estimate to replace the fron wheel bearings in my truck to see if their pricing was reasonable. The very curt employee who asnwered the phone said that in order to do that, they would have to do a complete vehicle inspection for $90. I explained that I do not want a full vehicle inspection and would like a rough estimate for the bearing replacement. The answer was "No". So let me get this straight: They are willing to give up the business of anyone who refuses services that they did not ask for...... This is a ridiculous policy and yet more evidence that Firestone is a horrible company to deal with. I have yet to have a positive experience with them. read more

Do not, do not, do not!! This place is a rip off! I came in for a flat repair and left out with a $500 damage and still a nail in my tire! The damage your vehicle to make more $$ and swear it was like that when it came in!! They also get mad and get an attitude when u refuse the extra repair! They even tried to charge my husband for air they had added to my tire! Could not even fix my flat and totally ruined the wheel hub studs on my Jeep!!! This place is a $hit show mess!!! do not go here. They try to rip you off for things you don't need and will having you leaving with MANY problems with your car. they forgot to put on 3 lugs nuts for my car and they replaced them with nuts that weren't the right size which messed up my tires. they also tried to get me to pay $200 for a oil pan I didn't need. if you go to any other Firestone they will give you the service you deserve and explain whats going on with your car in great detail. read more

I took my parent's vehicle in because I had it visiting SFA. The check engine light came on during my trip so I used this Firestone. They ran a $120 diagnostics test and said it was bad plugs and needed a fuel treatment. So, almost $600 later and wouldn't you know, the next day I had the same issue. I wasn't in Nac by then. Come to find out, it was fuel related, but my parents had just had the plugs replaced and some good fuel (premium) and that took care of it. Thanks for suckering me for $300 in unnecessary plug replacements. I'll never go back! read more

I had a low tire on a Saturday afternoon before a next-day trip. The workers at Firestone were thankfully open after noon! They aired my low tire and later, when I returned with my purse, they repaired the tire in a timely and professional manner. They were super friendly and pleasant to do business with. I drove my 2024 Toyota Prius over to firestone for an alignment after knocking a curb last Saturday. After two and a half hours I was told by a team of mechanics that they have no idea why every warning light is now lit up on my dashboard. The car, which I drove to firestone with no issue, could no longer move without the ABS motor being engaged and car proximity warnings/traction control warnings going off constantly. They explained that they were unable to correct whatever occurred during my alignment and that I would have to take the car to the dealership in lufkin to have them look at it. The mechanics expressed that the car would be safe to drive 30 minutes down the road to the dealership. I chose to have it towed because the car was obviously completely unsafe to drive, which toyota agreed. Toyota, after several days, was able to remedy the issue which was due to a steering sensor that firestone was unable to calibrate during the alignment. After getting the bill from Toyota for what it would cost to undo the damage, I called Firestone expecting them to cover it. Afterall, they caused the issue with the car. They refused to cover the cost of the repairs. Why would you chose to take your vehicle somewhere that refuses to make things right after a mistake is made? read more

Ok the LT alignment is good but its also a way to keep you coming back and getting work done, I get it, it business. I usually buy the LT alignment because I'm a retired mechanic, If I had a machine I could do the alignment myself. My tires were wearing funny so I took it back to get the alignment checked, the tech said because I have a Volvo, a powerful European car, I needed better tires, ok yes I agreed, but that is not whats causing the irregular tire wear, he disagreed but never did an inspection to see. I took it home and come to find out I had some badly worn parts, I replaced nearly the whole front end, had it aligned again, tires wear good now. It is not worth it to try to align one if parts are worn out. So say I followed his advice, got new tires on, they get eaten up on the worn out front end, I bring it back, they take a look and say I need and X and Y work done plus new tires again, sorry the tires are not warrantied because the front end is bad. This location lied to me about needed parts; refused to do the lifetime frontend alignment until I agreed to allow them to do the $1,700 worth of work. I went elsewhere and had the pitman and idle arm replaced; neither was bad, neither was in need of replacement. I had to fight with them to honor the lifetime alignment; NOT an honest place, NOT anyplace I'd allow to work on my auto. Very dishonest and over priced. read more

When it comes to the phone- they'll put you on hold and won't answer for 15 minutes plus. We called last week for assistance, no one answered us. Called this morning - same thing. We drove into town to get our tire checked out- it was a ghost town & only one worker there... he told me he didn't have time today ... to just look at the tire itself & no other cars or people waiting for appointments were around. The worst kind of customer service. This is a prime example why you should only support local because franchises don't care about you the way your neighborhood owner would. I am pleased with the work done on my car but not at all with the customer service. adam was rude to me on the phone and in person. i understand that this place gets ridiculously busy but that's no reason to be ugly and be short with me. he treated me like i was dumb and like i was really annoying him. he was also rude and disrespectful with my dad on the phone when he was asking about a part on my car. my dad consulted someone he knew at a tire place in dallas (where my dad lives) and adam said to my dad "i love when people check on what i say". i will avoid coming to this firestone at all costs just because of how rude and uncomfortable the environment is. read more

Great experience! I would first like to acknowledge Matt's expertise and professionalism! He let me know exactly what needed to be done and what could wait for a future service. As a female it's easy to get taken advantage of at auto care businesses and for that I appreciate Matt's honesty and intelligence. STELLAR customer service. I can say that Adam Gott and the team went above and beyond to help me in dealing with an already horrific day. While making my way home to St Louis to say final goodbyes I had a blowout. From the time I called while limping down the road on the donut, until I was out the door was less than half an hour. I know that anything auto related is usually about as enjoyable as a root canal, but the staff here made it painless and quick. Next time you need tires or service, stop and ask for Adam. Pulled in at 3:43 with a flat tire. The Person that met me at door said they were going home. I asked if the hours were correct that they advertise on the door. He said they were which said open till 5pm(on Sunday). He said they wanted to go home early so they were closing. I ask why they advertise open till 5 , at that point he suddenly forgot how to speak English. It's very unfortunate that a national chain store will leave a family stranded on a Sunday. I guess these people get a pay check whether the store generates money or not. I will never go to another firestone service center and I will tell everyone I know to take their business elsewhere. The only reason I am giving two stars is because my car was actually finished in 30 minutes, but they also seemed very slow. I have always used Firestone, but as of lately I've noticed their quality has gone down. This was my first time at the Nacogdoches one, I was less than impressed. I walked in 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment for a tire rotation and I couldn't tell if the service guy was a customer or employee. The guy seriously had a duck dynasty style beard (nothing against it) with a Texas Rangers shirt and wind pants, how is that professional? He looked at me as if I was lost, leading me to believe that he was a customer. I didn't get a call once my car was finished, I just happened to stop by 40 minutes (I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on actually completing service in 30 minutes) after I had dropped it off. I walked in and the service/clerk was no where to be found, I looked around and he was in the bay. He saw me and still waited about 10 minutes to finally come out and responded with "what do you need?", once again, extremely unprofessional to speak to anyone like that! I snapped a photo of the service/clerk guy and another "mechanic" working on someone else's vehicle. This Firestone was unbelievably sloppy and unprofessional! I've gotten things done from an oil change to getting screws plugged and the workers here are always so helpful! As a college student, I'm pretty ignorant to all things automotive and these guys always let me know what's wrong and give me advice on how to keep things in good shape on my car. One time I was heading off on a road trip right at closing and they even stayed late to help me out!! Great people and great service, would definitely recommend. read more
