I really like these guys. I mean, the place is always busy with people waiting, but they've generally gotten me out of there in about an hour. I've come through a couple times and Mike has always helped me check in and with other various questions I have. The last time I was in, Tony was just fantastic. He helped me put in a broken tail light that the dealership wanted to charge me $175 to do a diagnostic + parts and labor. I tried to fix it myself bc it should be easy, but I just couldn't get it to work. Tony took a quick look at it, knew which bulb to use, played around with it for a few minutes and got it working again. He just knows his stuff. Just good, honest, hardworking group of guys that are great at their jobs. It's a relief to have a place I can rely on. read more

I've been coming here for years to have my tires repaired and have generally had good experiences. I stay on top of my vehicle maintenance and usually go to the dealership, but recently I chose to have my brake fluid serviced here. I paid nearly $200 for that service. The following week, I returned because of a flat tire, and during the inspection I was told I needed to replace my battery and flush my brake fluid. I was confused, as I had just paid to have the brake fluid serviced the week prior. I was then told it would be have it redone at no cost. This leaves me concerned and unclear -- that is the last time I ever take my car there for a service and another thing I would like to add is every time I am there. I need a new battery for some reason!!! read more

I had a 10 am appointment, and did they didn't get to until 4:30 pm. By that time they were unable to finish. Nothing was done to my car.

I visited on Friday to request service, but the attendant informed me they were too busy to work on my car that day. I understood and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. When I arrived at the scheduled time, the same attendant told me it would be at least three hours before anyone could start working on my car. There was no apology or explanation--just a dismissive, 'take it or leave it' attitude. If you value your time and expect respectful customer service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Do not buy the lifetime alignment they will not honor it, I came in to get an alignment and I was told that because I have different wheels than when I had originally came in they wouldn't be able to do the alignment. So I don't understand whats the point of the buying an alignment for life if they don't want to do it, He didn't even try or go look at the car! We bought our tires in South California but got a flat in North California on a trip. I called a couple of Firestone locations and this one seemed like it could squeeze us in if we dropped off the tire (we'd already swapped to a spare ourselves). They agreed if they could patch the hole it would only cost $20. It was a big chunk of metal (maybe half a razor blade?) stuck in the center of the tire, and the guy who looked at it for me said it was a "definite maybe" on patch-ability. I left the tire with them and went to do some shopping. They called and said they'd been able to patch it and when I came back they put on the tire pretty promptly, in maybe 20-30 min. Considering I didn't have an appointment and they were very busy I was pleased. I waited in their lobby, watching a silly movie on TV and reading through some unusual magazines (Garden & Guns anyone?). The only negative I saw was one of the employees was having a bad day and threw a little tantrum (no customer or other employee there), throwing papers around and being (quietly) angry. Was a little unusual to see as a customer. But I was treated fairly and with basic courtesy. I would stop here again if needed. I brought it back 3 times and spent several hours each time just to find out nothing is leaking that they can see. Finally I was told they will replace it under warranty. I verified it's under warranty and they said yes. Today I had an appointment to replace it with no expectations of paying anything. I then was told I have to pay $153 for a tire that I paid $136 in January. They had all kinds of numbers they told me about, but that's just a smoke screen to hide the greed and gouging they do. We drove an hour to this location and showed up an hour early, only to be told that despite our appointment and the confirmation email we received that said, "if your requested appointment date becomes unavailable, we will contact you directly to discuss rescheduling," they were "slammed" and wouldn't me able to work on our car for two days. When we asked how that was possible, they explained a "third party" handles the reservation and that company doesn't speak directly with the shop or know how busy it is on any given day. Terrible customer service! I went in for the $30 5 quart oil change, with a new oil filter included, as advertised on their website under coupons. I was charged almost $100 for this standard oil change. This is a Ford that is almost 20 years old with 180k miles and is rarely driven, as it is our 3rd car used mostly for transporting our pup, which was mentioned. When I inquired as to why this was so much more expensive than the coupon I had, Mark told me that they had put synthetic oil in it rather than standard oil, and reasoned this by saying "you left before i could ask what type of oil." They knew I had come in for the $30 oil change, so how did they confuse that for the $100 synthetic oil? Had they really not known, all they had to do was call me and ask. Instead, they put the most expensive oil in the car and then when I questioned it, tried to act dumbfounded. After arguing this with Mark, they made an adjustment to the standard oil change with the coupon. Somehow this still came out to over $55. I asked what I was being charged for and Mark told me I was being charged for the oil filter. I showed him the coupon again where it clearly says "new oil filter included." I was told by Mark, "this is the way we do things" and "you're being cheap and that is your problem, not mine." There is no reason to ever speak to a customer like that! This place is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen considering that false advertising is illegal and according to Mark, they've been doing it for over 3 years! i made an appointment at one Location for tire rotation since it was my first tire rotation after I bought the new tires for my truck. I made the appointment T 10 am and my truck didn't move at all so I took my truck without anything done at 5:00 pm. I made another appointment at the Santa Rosa Ave location today 01/04/25 at 8:00 am again JUST for tire rotation. ok well I was told 45 mins. I wasted. After 1: 25 mins I went and asked is it done. I was told that the oil change is in a process. REALlY! you see where my frustration is now. OIL CHANGE when I never asked for. so I said I don't want that to happen. So the guys already opened the oil cap and dropped it inside where he could not even find it. And on top of that was blaming that the Honda Dealer probably never put the cap on. SERIOUSLY. I brought my car in for a flat tire, and was told I need to replace the wheels. It has taken several weeks trying to purchase a set for myself, but I have called in multiple times and been told that there was no charge or concern of parking space for my car. Without notice they towed it and nobody at Firestone can tell me why or where it is. They have my name phone number and car on file, because I was a customer. They had the keys to the vehicle and gave them to the towing company. Update: Since Management responded to my review I will update my post. Management was not available to speak to me today, I opened a customer complaint case with corporate. I had to come up with 700 out of pocket to get my car out of impound before the fees got any higher. We had them fix a valve gasket. the mechanics didn't know how to use the hood lever and just yanked on it as hard as it could breaking the latch that holds the hood. Ron the manager and Jose was the mechanic. It's on dash cam video. I filled a claim and Firestone denied it. All they do is protect themselves. It's going to cost more to fix what they broke than the actual repair I hired then for. Take your car some where else. I will never go back there again. I had a 12 o'clock appointment and was told it would be about an hour and 15 minutes. I left and when I returned I was informed they hadn't started on my vehicle (it was about 1:30) so I got picked up and was planning to return once it was finished. Around 2:15pm I received a call with them saying that they couldn't start my vehicle...though there were no issues starting before and I haven't had any issues so I thought that was strange. After telling them what it could potentially be, I was told they would get started once they got the car on. I waited and waited for another call back and was growing impatient. Nobody called me back and I called at 4:15, was put on hold for nearly 10min and when I asked what the status of my vehicle was, was told "oh we still haven't started on it" to which I said "just forget it I'll come pick it up". When I got back to Firestone, my vehicle was in the oil changing bay, not being worked on. I asked for my keys and said "so interesting how two hours ago it supposedly wasn't working and now it's just sitting here. Guess you guys got it turned over, huh?" No, I wouldn't recommend this place if you have errands to run or just not in the mood to wait almost 5 hours for a 45min job. I spoke with 2 advisors, both said they don't know much about rims and one advised me to call Les Schwab, American tires, or another tire place who specializes in rims. Our rental vehicle from AVIS (a Ford Explorer Limited) sustained a punctured tire as we were enroute from Healdsburg to Los Angeles. After being given the run-around, AVIS Customer Service finally relented and instructed us to go to Firestone #359451 in Santa Rosa to see if the tire can be repaired. After confirming with AVIS that the tire cannot be repaired, Ron the Store Manager went out of his way to go to another Firestone store to get the new tire (he did not have a suitable tire in stock in his store). I took my car in for front and back brakes to be done and rotors as well. They told me they took care of everything (brakes and rotors, front and back) and it was all up to date. Less than 2 weeks later after paying all that money my brakes were rubbing hard.. I gave them a call and let them know I was upset and they told me to take my car back in which I did. They gave me a call and said my brakes were down to line 1 and I asked them how so because I had just gotten everything done from them and why didn't they mention this a couple weeks ago. He called me back saying oops were looked at the wrong info! Got my car back and same thing started happening again a couple weeks later. It got worse and finally took my car somewhere else (after only 4 months of getting brakes and rotors done @ Firestone) and they told me my front brakes only have 50% left on them and my back brakes and rotors were bad!! I dropped off my car at 9am and left to get breakfast. i received a call an hour later saying "your car is almost done but we found a nail in the tire.. we can fix it for only $30" i said okay do it, and 40 mins later I received another call saying "sorry the damage on the tire is to big we cant put it on the car anymore so you have to buy a new tire but don't worry we are having a sale right now" Of course with the frustration i told them to fix it because i wasn't planning on buy a tire from them when i only came in for a balancing. And when we got to the counter for our appointment, we are told "sorry we are too busy to take you." There was only one mechanic in the bays working. After explaining that I had an email, with a reservation time and number. They basically tell us the reservation doesn't matter; and we are told it will be at least a couple hours till they could even work on it. No sorry, nothing. Why have online reservations, if you can and won't honor them? Won't ever be back and warn anyone thinking they have an appointment to double check. read more
