I just went in today for my tags, and turns out there was more to it... in less than 15 minutes, Suzie had made all the calls necessary to take the hold (suspension) off my car for a mistake my insurance made, and she had everything settled out just in time for me to pay for my tags before they expired!!!! What can I say.... fast, easy, and convenient is what describes the services at Firestone Registration and Services. I came in for a complicated transfer of ownership (since I accidentally ripped the tittle a little over a year ago) I didn't know how to go about it since the DMV only gives you ten days to do it. But Firestone Registration and Services did! They hooked it up in a manner of minutes and I was on my way to enjoy life! Listen, imagine the convenience of not losing half of your day waiting in an endless line just to having to deal with snotty DMV people that have no sense of what public service means (granted some are nice but few in number). I had my registration and plates stolen. They were able to complete the necessary paperwork and replaced the license plate all within a matter of moments. I was in and out of their shop within 10 minutes. They're also reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anybody. read more

This past Saturday I accomplished a few things that I wanted. I needed to complete a smog check and renew car tags. I passed my smog check and paid my tags online the day before. I should have waited for Suzie hehe. Lol. I was referred to another office in South Gate but they were closed. I was going to wait til next week but I googled car registration near me and I found Firestone Registration Services close by. I went to office and I met Suzie's mother. She told me to wait and that her daughter Suzie was on her way to office. Suzie finally arrived and greeted me very professional! She asked me what I needed and answered all my questions. I couldn't get my tags because I had already paid tags online. However, my tags were due on 11/24 and date was 11/25. She offered me a permit to move vehicle. I didn't have cash. Permit was $10. Suzie was nice enough to let me have the permit at no cost. Without having a relationship established before, Suzie was so kind enough to take care of me. I will definitely recommend this office to anyone who needs to renew their registration. Thank you again! See you soon! read more

The lady working here is nice and all, but when she helped us get insurance it had been our third month paying with her and then we ended up getting letters in the mail saying we haven't been paying the insurance and that we owe more than 400$ now. It is insanely crazy! I tried going to her office not only once but twice, called her because I had gone the first time around 5, she wasn't there and said she'd be there around 6 waited till 7 she never got there or even bothered to call back to say she won't be there. I went the day after around 2 she said she'd be there at 2:30 and never got there, or yet again tried to call back. ( keep in mind her office hours are 10am - 7pm). read more

I went here to pay for my friends DMV renewal so they don't have to miss work. I called ahead and asked if I could pay the renewal and get the tags on the spot like the AAA office (which I have, but can't get tags for other people if they aren't a member, only for yourself)the lady who answered was very helpful and nice. I showed up and when it came time to pay I was shocked to hear she charges $40 for her services on top of the DMV fee. I was already there so I just paid it, my fault I should have asked over the phone. I should have called around if I had more time also but I didnt. I was in and out maybe 3 minutes. I would recommend this place if your local and don't want to wait in Long lines at the DMV. But for $40 service fee I would call around first or get the AAA roadside assistance for $50 and it's good for one year, DMV services, discounts, free tow, bring u gas, no waiting in line etc. Also there was plenty of parking on the street and parking lot next to the building. It's very small I almost walked past it until I saw the words "Insurance" She has a beautiful poodle for those who are allergic or have animals you bring along. She said she takes cash, credit and debit. The short time I was there she continued to be nice and polite. read more
