WOW! The best way to describe this place: the Costco of fireworks!! Never in my life have I seen so many fireworks!! They have everything here from little poppers to big ones that go into the sky. I saw so many of these places in Tennessee and stopped at this location because it was along the way from the Great Smokeys and Nashville. This store is huge! I'm not sure if every location is as big but this particular store was bigger than I could have imagined for just fireworks! Upon entering, I had no idea where to start! There are soooo many types of fireworks. Some come in cute little packages and some are giant boxes to full on kits. There are several TV's around with videos of various fireworks in action. They sell kits for certain parties and the names are very creative. Too bad there are not places like this in California. I guess they know how to put on a show in the south because I'm sure all these are legal here as these are just sold everywhere. I was so tempted to buy some and set them off, but as I was just traveling here, I did not know where I could safely light them. The workers were very nice and helpful. I had a flyer for free firecrackers from the hotel and so I showed the worker. He gave me 2 packets of firecrackers, for free!! He also gave my brother to packs also! I wish I could have lit them up somewhere. Unfortunately, I had to leave them as we never figured out where we could light them and I'm pretty sure they were a no-no to take back on the plane to California. Next time I'm in the area, you can bet I'll be checking out this store again. Hopefully next time I'll be able to set some off!!

Products range from small bottle rockets up to reloadable motor shells with anything in between! My first impression of the store upon entering was the sheer volume of selection that was available. Although the store may appear small, do not let that deceive you, the available merchandise is definitely diverse. Secondly, I was glad to see that the store's namesake was indeed working there. "Granny" warmly greeted us and assisted us with any question or concern. She even was kind enough to demonstrate a few products that we were unsure of but interested in. To top things off, "Granny" pitch in a few free fireworks for our purchase. These weren't just some extra little poppers, but some serious helicopter explosives. Make sure you print out a map or are familiar with the location, because Granny's is a little difficult to find the first time around. You have to continue down Bristol Highway for nearly three miles, so you might feel like you've missed it. Just keep driving, and you'll see a big sign which will let you know you're there! Although Granny's is a little out of the way and a little hard to find the first time around, the products and the customer service are top notch. Next time I am in Tennessee, I will be buying my fireworks from Granny!

We typically put on a large show of typically around 7-8K on average . We like supporting everyone. But I think my last trip to Joey's is in the books. As many are aware, the fireworks, cakes and others have QR codes on them- to view them and watch them before you buy them. My son which is 13 is very mature for his age and I've raised him on this passion of shooting fireworks safely and what to look for. While we were in there shopping and watching videos, some old guy comes up and is by far the rudest person I've encountered in a while especially in such a fun place not to mention to someone that's spending a lot of money as we were. He was very high strung that "Kids can't touch anything" like ok buddy but I think you should calm down and not get so hostile, he isn't playing with anything or shooting anything we are scanning QR codes to see what we wanna buy. His attitude and demeanor was way out of line. I shop at many different places, lots of them welcome kids to enjoy their stores and their environments. There's no law that says that- I get being safe but we were at poor Paul's and Sheltons last week and the ladies were walking around with my son and wife showing him the best rapid fires, the red white and blue shots etc. even gave him a brown bag full of "freebies" when we left. Like I said, reviews are good and bad. The products are nice and respectable on cost but I just don't think the firework police make it very inviting and welcoming especially for people spending hard earned money on their products.

Plus they have the real deal fireworks, not the black cat crap you get in a trailer at a gas station. Yeah it's expensive, but it's better quality fireworks. Biggest blasts in town, dats right!!!
