Growing up, I have the fondest memories of this place. I truly believed that the real Santa Claus resided here, and all of the rest were imposters. The decor and ambiance were so magical. Being able to come back as an adult with my fiancé and kids, is so magical too! I hope this place is always around. There's truly no other place that captures the Christmas spirit. What can I say about The Incredible Christmas Place other than this place really is incredible. The name says it all! Gasps galore here as you enter a literal magic winter wonderland! It's simply remarkable how you can enter this store any time you miss that christmas magic. There is SO much to choose from. Down to christmas trees, ornaments, decorations of all colors shapes and sizes. Everyone seemed super busy and seems to have quite a turn around decorating this place. The one downside is everything is SUPER expensive. I saw one very intricate ornament as high as $97.00. If you need any type of Christmas decor. This place has it all. Ornaments, trees, wreaths, and more! When you walk in, everything is so beautiful and festive from top to bottom. We came in here to get some gifts for friends and family. There are sections divided and organized. Each spot is themed whether it be farm, gnomes, animals, food, and even local artists. My favorite is the Santa's Pen. You can specialize them with names of your friends/families. Free of charge. Just purchase the ornaments behind their station. The only thing that was confusing in the building is check out. I didn't know you had to follow the hoof prints, until I asked. Overall, this was a fun experience. The Incredible Christmas Place is perfect for my 21 month old toddlers to run around in, seeing the beautiful Christmas decorations and ornaments. There's such a variety of Christmas decorations like The Grinch, The Candy Lane, etc. Here is what I didn't realize coming in and even after asking a worker. To see Santa, you need to register on the wait list online; and the wait list was about an hour long. The worker thought that Santa didn't come until the evening. There should be a sign up or something on their website to state this. We had already walked around for about an hour; and we didn't see the need to walk around an additional hour to see Santa. Other than that, if you are looking for unique Christmas decor to follow, this store will probably have what you are looking for. My kids loved the bins of fake snow the most; but overall, while nice to see, it is a pricier store than I am used to. read more

Disappointed in the store. The employees were very cliquish. They only talked to each other and were bothered if anyone had a question. Most of the items did not have a price tag and you had to find a scanner to confirm pricing. The items were mixed. Got to the store at 11 am and where there were bins of say garland, the items were mixed and had to dig to find what you were looking for and double check your prices. Same item may have two different prices. Many of the aisles were so cluttered you could push a cart through and forget about walking beside someone to talk. read more

What a delightful place! Our group had a lot of fun here enjoying the Christmas themed stores, especially the one full of ornaments and related items such as lights, trees, gift wrapping stuff, and more. We were there in December so things felt extra festive inside, and there were honestly so many hidden nooks in the store that I'm sure we missed a few sections. I've never seen such a large assortment of ornaments from simpler to intricate, and they had a whole wall of Disney themed items which I loved. I really wish I could have picked something up but the checkout line monitor (yes they have one which is nice) was estimating over a 20 minute wait and we wanted to get to Gatlinburg in time. I love how many different tastes this store appeals to. They have more traditional wooden ornaments, rustic farm house style decorations and also a variety of glass ornaments, nutcrackers and snow globes. I've been here a few times and I know the cost of things has gone up, but they are definitely more overpriced than I expected a lot of items to be. The same ornament I got less than 2 years ago went from $5.99 to $8.99 and another went from $20 to $30. I did get some yummy treats at the fudge shop. I call this my Mother Ship. I love all things Christmas and I while I have been to many Christmas shops in different locations in the US this one is truly the best! You can find whatever you want Christmas here. I have 3 themed trees in my house and I can always find a new item or something fun to add in this store. No matter what else is happening in the rest of the world you step in here and it is Christmas. They have re-set during the COVID shutdown and the personalizing area is updated and it is easier to find items that are specific to your family. There is also a specific entrance and exit now. The staff here is great. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the items in the store and what is available on line. This place can get crazy during the Christmas season so be prepared. The store inside is divided into small departments or nooks, each with their own decorating theme (emphasis on the country home decor style). This place was amazing!!!! The single largest Christmas shop I have ever seen. I went too late at night to really experience it all. So make sure to budget in enough time to really go through this place. And don't forget the adjacent shops for candy and other sweets. I have always loved the Christmas Place! It's beautiful inside, has wonderful products, and Christmas cheer abounds....well, maybe it doesn't ABOUND. There's a particular red-haired lady with glasses who is employed here. We went on three separate occasions within a week. Once was to ask about purchasing birch branch bundles which were sold out and she was unwilling to sell any from the trees. Another time we waited to ask a question because this lady and another employee were having personal conversations, but we finally waited so long we had into interrupt their chat. On our final visit, we had to ask the lady about a large deer figurine we had been eyeing. When we asked this red-haired employee questions about merchandise all she could do was reply with was curt and unhelpful responses. She didn't even look at me. She was rather cross. When we asked about the deer, she retorted someone had bought the deer and she just hadn't had a chance to fill that spot with something else. No "I'm sorry we sold out of that, or I can have one ordered for you." She was more concerned about redecorating that spot. I've had better help at WALMART and we know how cruddy customer service there can be. The Christmas Place needs to intervene with some IMMEDIATE coaching for this woman, or she needs to be dismissed if she can't be more kind and helpful. It seems her red hair matches her temperament. The Christmas Place literally advertises itself as "the happiest place on earth". If you read recent reviews here, you will find customer service to be a common theme of disappointment. People expect quality customer service, helpful assistance, and a warm disposition in a store like this. We actually went back to the store the third time intending to make a large purchase, but due to her unwillingness to be helpful, we walked out with nothing and the store lost a good sale. read more

The low rating is not a reflection on the employees or owners. It's a reflection on the cause of this places demise. Don't bother dropping by. You will leave the store without buying a thing. The reason, there's nothing to buy. Nearly all the inventory is gone, there are no name brands on the shelf - Dept. 56 or Carolers. None of the artificial tress are in stock - all sold out. The rear parking lot is usually packed but no one even parked back there to at noon. The outdoor train is gone. There is no Christmas music playing inside. The shelves were empty. No Christmas lights for sale, just some micro-LED lights. Very sad I think they are going out of business and they themselves don't know it yet. Victim of the on-line retail business. It's sad that places like this are slowly vanishing from our grasp. The hand full of employees that I ran into saw were very pleasant and friendly. But if you are a fan of decorating for the holidays, this place should be high on your priority list to visit. Just get ready to spend some serious money!!! I honestly had no idea Christmas décor could cost so much! *** For the decorating challenged, there are a mega amount of displays around the store to give you ideas. One such display was as custom garland wrapping around the arch of a doorway using different items from the store. It was absolutely stunning, so I found every item and began to price it out. I gave up as I began to approach $250 and I hadn't even calculated 25% of the items on the display! LOL Like many people, we LOVE decorating for the holidays, but we don't really overdo it. Not that we wouldn't love to have a show-stopping Holiday Home, I'm just too cheap to spend that kind of money on seasonal items that I must also be careful to safely store. Yet for some, this is not a problem. The store is massive enough to actually get a little turned around as you drift in a euphoric-like trance from room to room and display to display. They even had Halloween décor during our October visit, which probably means they have other season items depending on the time of year. But make no mistake about it, this place is ALWAYS about Christmas! *** Like I said in the beginning, I'd like to see more diversity in the ethnicity of the items and not just a item or two here and there! I saw very little (if any) African American, Asian or Latino representation in ANY of the ornaments, Elves, Santa's, Carolers, etc. Outside of that, WOW!!! When I learned about this store on my visit to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, it was a must-see on my list. Wow: I wish I could move in! This place is other worldly in the realm of Christmas decorations; it's terrifically mind-blowing what a selection they have of every sort of Christmas decoration imaginable. They have a great selection of Christmas decor and include everything you could think of. There is also a sweets shop where you can get some cocoa or ice cream and a visit with Santa. While product selection is vast, the prices are rather high for a lot of the items. Their villages selection on display was great but there was little actually in stock. It's the highest prices I've seen for some of these too. I will also say that the staff, or at least those I interacted with, were not friendly or helpful. I felt like I was bothering them. Esp in the cafe area. There was a lady cleaning the fountain drink machine while customers lined up. The guy in front of me had to ask if the machines clearly behind the counter were self serve, and only then did she acknowledge she needed to operate them. The customized ornament section was the last place we'd visited, not knowing that's what it was or that the line for that ended at 8:30 when they close at 9. Ended up getting a keepsake ornament and can hopefully find someone to personalize it I guess ?? Overall fun to look at but wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for something specific. read more

We visited this store while on our anniversary vacation from out of state. The store overall is beautiful and has so many Christmas decor to purchase and give you ideas for your home.
