However, since Prutch's took over the business, the prices have skyrocketed. Back in February 2020, I had a broken spring. A technician came out quickly and replaced both springs for $367.18--very fair and professional service. Fast forward to November 2024, same exact issue. This time, the first invoice was $165 just to clamp the broken spring (which only held up for a day). I was told someone would come back out, but no one did--and the technician on site wasn't even aware of the issue. Then came the second invoice: $706 to replace both springs. That's more than double the cost from just a few years ago. It felt like a serious case of price gouging, and I was ready to leave a 1-star review. However, after speaking directly with the owner, Garret, I felt heard. He was understanding about my long history with Kenny's and acknowledged that prices have changed significantly. He agreed that providing estimates upfront would be a good step, especially with such a big difference from previous rates. Because of that conversation, I'm updating my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I still believe the pricing needs more transparency, but I do appreciate the respectful technician and Garret's willingness to listen and make things right.

I even made a special trip to Denver and talked to the company president and he sat across the desk and lied to my face that they would help me out. This past year a Board Member gave it his best effort. He got as far as a service tech coming out, but alas he lied to our faces too, never came back or returned calls. Our car was trapped inside of the garage, door was closed. I was concerned about being able to keep a medical appointment for the following day. Spoke with a very nice woman on the phone, and she quickly scheduled our repair for later the same morning. Within the hour of placing our call, the service technicians arrived. The two service tech's had the necessary parts on the truck, made a quick repair, replacing both springs on our door.
