They found water in places I wouldn't even know to look. They have specialized equipment to help locate all the wet building materials. They also do in house Reconstruction which is nice. Definitely glad I called Home Damage Medics!

I strongly recommend NOT going with this company. They advertise that they are an end-to-end…read moresolution company (they will do mitigation and reconstruction) to get you interested, but they will leave you hanging for the reconstruction portion of the work. I had a tight deadline for the work I needed to get done and they told me they would be able to complete the work in time which is why I went with them. However, after they completed the mitigation, the owner told me they would no longer be able to do the reconstruction portion of the job because they took other jobs. They left me with a hole in the ceiling where my cats could get into it leaving me to scramble to find another company to help me in time. Rumor has it the owner, Luis, also got offended when I asked him to be more careful when dropping dry wall from the ceiling because I was afraid it would scratch or damage my floors and that's also why they would not complete the restoration job. They didn't want to do a job where the homeowner was 'looking so closely or worried about their other property being damaged'. This is a clear indicator the owner does not have confidence in the quality of his work and is in fact afraid he would damage something so he'd rather back out from the job than 'have an owner looking closely'. I definitely dodged a bullet not getting reconstruction work from them after all. While Luis's partner, Spencer, who did the mitigation work, did a really good job and I would totally hire him again, the owner is quite young and clearly has not yet learned the basics of customer service so I'd recommend going with another company that is more established and has more experience under their belt, especially when it comes to customer service.

So, when my portable AC leaked onto my flooring last night, I knew who I was going to contact. I called when they opened, and found out that he was booked for the next week. I decided to send him a message to see if there was a company he would recommend to me. He actually responded immediately and said that he'd be able to squeeze me in! You have no idea how grateful I was to hear that. He gave me two time options, and called me when he was on the way. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. I've had quite a few companies do various types of jobs for me, and there are only two who I'd recommend. Mathew with Puget Sound Water Rescue is one of them!

After we ripped up the entire carpeted space and treated it--I wanted info from a professional to see if there was anything else that we needed to do before getting the affected slab ground down and polished. I spoke with several companies who were unhelpful over the phone or charging ridiculous fees just to come out and provide an estimate. Mathew, the owner of Puget Sound Water Rescue was timely in his responsiveness over the Yelp App (on a Sunday afternoon) and ultimately provided us the perspective and information that we needed to determine whether or not professional remediation services were warranted at this point. Ultimately we determined with his help that they were not. Despite the fact that we did not end up hiring (anyone), his knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness were 5 stars worthy. Highly recommend talking to and/or Mathew for your remediation needs!

We called several emergency water restoration companies, but Green Planet Restoration was the only one able send someone out to access our situation that day. David, our field supervisor, thoroughly inspected the damage and gave us an honest and careful outlook about the restoration process. Optimistically planning on insurance coverage, but realistically expecting denial, he made sure that all work and costs were approved by us before and throughout the insurance process. Thankfully we ended up being covered, and David helped negotiate on our behalf. Olman, our project manager, was attentive and communicative. He kept us up to date with all the work and progress, and helped us coordinate with the workers we had coming and going for several weeks. The crew working on the house was excellent, too! Giovanni walked us through the work, and helped us when we wanted to make adjustments. We made some pretty drastic changes to our spaces, installing LVP in both rooms and painting the wall and ceiling a dark color in one of them. These big upgrades were easily handled. At no point did we ever feel like we were left hanging or out of the loop. Even throughout the payment process, with several hiccups with our insurance checks, they were kind, patient, and understanding. Green Planet Restoration and their team help make a nightmare of a situation much easier to manage. Thank you to the whole team!

He gave us an honest assessment to compare with the insurance adjustor, provided a ton of helpful additional info to two panicked first time homebuyers, and even brought out a dehumidifier for us until we could rent more. He was too booked out to take our mitigation job at the time- and was honest about that which is rare- but checked in with us to see after the fact to see how we were doing. He really does care about people making the best choice in a crappy situation. My whole family works in the building trades and you can just tell when someone is passionate about their work and treats the homes of their customers like it's their own. You can spot transparency and honesty from a sales pitch. Sean is someone I would absolutely trust to work on my home.

I have a rental home that I needed the crawl space cleaned up and repaired due to rodent activity…read more We called this company up after seeing a 10% off coupon in the mail and they came out in late May and gave us an estimate. So far, so good... Then a couple weeks later when we were ready to have the work done, I called Crawl Space & Attics NW. I called in the middle of the day, during their listed working hours. No one picked up and it went straight to voice mail. I thought it was no big deal and I left a voice message letting them know I needed to get that work done and gave them my contact information (which they should have had on file from the estimate). No one called me back all day. I called them again several hours later and a lady picked up the phone, took my info (and no mention of the voice mail I left earlier), and said someone would give me a call back later that day before the company closed to set a date. No one called me back that day. Afterward, I called two more times during working hours on other days. No one picked up and once again I left voice mails with my info, being polite but stressing the urgency of needing to get the work done soon (as I was selling the rental home). In the end, I have been very disappointed with this company. It is not that hard to call a customer back, and the fact that they don't appear to care about returning calls or booking new business raises serious questions about how the company is run. But it has worked out better for me. After not getting called back by Crawl Space & Attics NW, I called another company and I got ahold of a live human being. They were very nice, came out the next day to do an estimate which ended up being $600 less than the estimate I got from Crawl Space & Attics NW (even with their 10% off coupon)! And that company was able to come out the next day to get all the repairs done. Had Crawl Space & Attics NW called me back and did the work they proposed, I would be giving them a 5 star review and would have given them even more of my money. However, if this is the way they treat customers, they won't be in business that much longer.

Having been through insurance-related water damage before, I knew I needed a construction company I could truly trust. Boulder Peak was the sixth company I interviewed--and the last. The moment Moses explained that they work directly with insurance companies, I was sold. He came prepared with an incredibly detailed estimate using the same software insurance adjusters use and fought hard on our behalf, from securing two coats of paint when insurance wanted to cover only one, to submitting change orders to bring our electrical up to code. Moses and Helaina were also fantastic design partners. They guided us through every decision, created multiple 3D renderings, and were endlessly patient when we changed our minds (more than once!). They even designed custom shower glass to accommodate our upgraded bench. The crew's workmanship was pristine--and that's saying a lot because I'm very particular. Today, we couldn't be happier with our new bathroom. I would 100% recommend Boulder Peak to anyone needing construction work, insurance-related or otherwise.

This was due to a less-than-stellar experience with the initial company, but those details belong on another review... Working with Boulder Peak was a breath of fresh air! From the initial consultation to finishing the job, they were professional, informative, timely, communicative, and considerate. The consultation was quick and informative as Moses helped me determine what work was needed. He even included estimates for my requests that potentially needed a structural engineer for an exterior door in the room. At no point was I pressured or made to feel dumb for asking these questions. He simply helped me sort out the size and scale of the project with his expertise. I then got to work with Irish to schedule the project. I liked how the payment structure was setup into three 30% payments(due at various stages of the project) and a 10% payment at the end AFTER I'm satisfied with the results. Irish was on-top of the paperwork and ensured the project started quickly. I appreciated that they sent a quick "hey sent over X" instead of just relying on email/docusign/quickbooks to notify me. One thing I didn't want to do was "manage" the project myself -- asking when/if/how things would get done. Elena was great to work with because she took care of everything! She checked in during various stages of the project and stopped by several times to ensure the work was progressing and of good quality. The project was going well, so I asked to add-on a couple of additional items(dry-wall patches, adding an outlet to a wall, etc...). Elena got them added quickly and easily. These were all done WITHIN the initial time estimate with minor cost additions. They even worked with me on some completeness items that weren't in the original estimate but that we noticed on final review. Speaking of final review, I really appreciated the continuity and professionalism from Boulder Peak. The same person, Moses, who did the initial estimate was the same person who validated the final work. He was inspecting the work with more scrutiny during the final walk through than even I was, if I'm being honest. The work itself was done in exactly the amount of time they had originally estimated (about a week). It looks like a brand new room! I'm so happy to have my bedroom back! I sincerely and highly recommend Boulder Peak to anyone looking for mitigation and restoration in the Seattle area!
