After a frustrating experience at Valley Community Health--where the front desk was unresponsive and telemedicine doctors did not show up for scheduled appointments--coming to First Aid Urgent Care was a completely different and refreshing experience. From the moment we walked in, Andrea and America at the front desk were warm, kind, and very welcoming. The PA, Terry, saw my mother-in-law right away, took the time to answer all our questions, and provided excellent care. We left 200% satisfied with the service. Vary unprofessional, and rude. The PA "Dr." Whiting is clueless, disrespectful, and needs to work on her people skills. I do not recommend this zoo of an "urgent care". Don't bother going there, you will leave with high blood pressure. read more

I had an extremely disappointing and dangerous experience at this urgent care in August 2024. I went in because my throat was severely swollen, and it was difficult to swallow or breathe comfortably. The doctor briefly looked at me and sent me home, simply advising me to drink tea and honey. I trusted her instructions and did exactly as she said, but my condition worsened significantly. When I returned a few days later, the same doctor seemed confused and even asked, "Didn't I give you antibiotics?" When I told her no, she insisted she thought she had. After checking her chart, she realized she never actually prescribed them. By that point, my throat was so bad that she immediately sent me to the emergency room. At the ER, the doctor there told me it was a good thing I came when I did -- if I had waited any longer, things could have become much more serious. The ER doctor even acknowledged that the urgent care had been negligent by not prescribing antibiotics the first time. This entire situation could have been avoided if the urgent care doctor had taken my symptoms seriously and treated me properly during my first visit. Instead, her negligence caused my condition to escalate to the point where it became an emergency. I would not recommend this urgent care to anyone. Your health and safety are far too important to risk with this kind of careless treatment. read more

I called prior to coming in with an expected wait of 20 minutes, I was greeted by the lovely staff and given paper work immediately. The medical assistant took me back and did my vitals and prepped me for my TB Skin test. Ok first of all thank you Celeste for having such a gentle touch. The NP, I believe her name was Mariam was extremely thorough with my questions and did a full set of questions herself to ensure my safety. Just came back to get my results looked at and once again same staff extremely helpful and even gave me the papers I needed to my clinicals. This now became my go-to urgent care. First time at the urgent care. The staff was very kind and friendly. Great customer service.

I was there for a sick visit. I had chest pain, wheezing, cough, phlegm, body aches, chills and runny nose. I told the doctor this when he walked in, he checks my back and proceeds to ask me to take 1 deep breath (AND THAT WAS IT!!!! Just one deep breath) didn't really tried to listen to my lungs! then asked me again my symptoms so I tell him again and says it could be influenza and I should get tested for it and he leaves the room(I did it was negative) nurse comes in to do it. He never checked my chest or really focused on listening. I'm upset because I spent money and no diagnosis was given. I saw the doctor for 2mins max!!! I told the nurse when I've felt like this in the past it has been bronchitis she tells me they don't have a Xray machine to determine that. I wish I was told THAT when I walked in and told the receptionist verbally and in writing my symptoms. Waste of money and time. Very disappointed! Doctor did not even try! read more

I spent 2 hours in the place, all of which I basically waited. I was seen for all of 3-5 minutes. Took my blood pressure, temp, checked my ears and mouth and sent me on my way. No meds for "just a virus" and didn't even check me for Covid when I said it felt like flu or Covid symptoms. Basically just had me sit around so they could get my $50 copay. Don't come here. Update: it's been 2 days since I came here and I just tested positive for COVID at the CVS minute clinic. These urgent care doctors said I had a virus and did NOT even test me for COVID or flu. I was tested for both flu and COVID today and it only came back positive for COVID. DO NOT TRUST THIS URGENT CARE!!! read more

Went here a second time for same issue the NP refused to deal with it. A couple weeks later went in with itchy bumps. Same NP diagnosed shingles. I couldn't take the meds ( not their fault). While researching shingles found pictures. What I have looks nothing like that. Used Google and determined its bug bites. I had been for a walk and that's when it started I've been here and the staff was wonderful but now the tension is definitely up. Not sure I would return. read more

Was really unhappy with my experience! Told them I had a uti and they ended up not seeing me after 2 hours of me already being there.

I called before heading over to the urgent care. They told me they had four patients there I arrive 10 minutes later at 4:11 the facility does not close till 8 PM when I walked in there was no patience in the waiting room and they said they were too capacity and would not be seeing patients at this current time when I called back to ask tif they would see patient later they said no they were done for the day. It was 4:11 no patience in the waiting room this place is a scheme. It is not a true urgent care. Do not waste your time there. read more

Staff is great and very welcoming. I've been a few times and received excellent care. However, today I had severe ear blockage which was affecting my ability to work as I couldn't hear clients over the phone. Upon intake that was my primary concern but I also mentioned that I suspected to have a UTI. I was told that this urgent care only addresses one issue per visit and I would have to choose between the ear blockage and the uti? I chose the ear because I need to return to work tomorrow. After my visit here I had to go to a whole other urgent care to get my uti treated(which means my insurance will now be billed for two separate urgent care visits).While at the other urgent care they told me it's typical to have a "chief complaint" during an urgent visit but the other urgent care should have treated my uti as well, as an untreated uti can cause sepsis or kidney damage and is considered to be a pressing issue. Because of this I likely would not return to this location. read more

This Urgent Care in Panorama City has a wonderful staff that is always helpful and nice to the patients with very friendly doctors who listen and are very caring. It is in a very accessible location , near other shops. I live nearby, which is Important for the community as it is in a walking distance from many apartments and homes, and they take adults and children as well. read more
