Well versed and mannered employees along with cleanliness and ample parking will tickle your fancy here if you have experienced a bad flavor from other banks. Can anybody tell me why there are no Bank of America's around here? Because they Eureka (let's see if you caught that one). Riddle, what is the difference between the banks in Houston vs the banks in this immediate area and probably most of Louisiana if not the city of New Orleans? Security guards! Commissioned officers, guns! I was kind of surprised coming in here the first time expecting to be starred down like an alien from another state (that's another interesting story, save that for a UYE). I've been to two Chase's and have not noticed anything like that, not used to that. In Houston you will surely find one standing in the parking lot, by the door, at a desk eye balling you when you first walk in, but not here nor the ones down the road. No, that does not give you bidding or encouragement to rob these places, I'm sure there is something lurking in the back or nearby that will styfle your get away, don't do it! Just when I thought Chase branches could not get any better and not surprise me they continue to amaze me in the continuity of service with a smile no matter where I go.

Let me tell you about my experience with Chase Bank. My mother hired a man to do some repair on…read moreher home caused by Hurricane Ida. She wrote him a check for $2,000 for a deposit/supplies and the check cleared immediately. When the work was complete, she wrote him a check for the balance. The check cleared her bank the same night. Chase refused to give the money to the Chase account holder. They required all parties to be present with ID. They were holding my mom's money and had a hold for the same amount on the account holder (just under $10,000 total). Now they have the money from both parties and would not release it. I had to take time off work to take my mother to the bank, as did the other party. Upon arriving at the bank, all parties were inside for over 15 minutes and still the transfer of funds was not finished. I went inside and asked why the delay, if all they needed was to verify IDs. The bank called the police because I refused to leave without my mother and the bank refused to return her check or the cash. The police came. The account holder stated the same problem. No one was arrested, but this is the worst experience I've ever had with a banking institution. They have found a way to steal from the customers and those who pay them. STAY AWAY FROM CHASE BANK

They should have been there for us to help us navigate through the process. Then, when our insurance company left Louisiana suddenly, Riverlands never returned any of our calls. Instead, they sent us a new policy to agree to that didn't even cover hurricane damage. We went with another company that communicated more efficiently. As long as you have no claims to submit or any problems that come along, they are great! But the moment you need them, they are hard to reach.

That same night I got call from a young lady named Amanda who was very informative and assured my they would get a new policy for me. We went over some questions and talked through the whole process she called a "rewrite" I was assured I would get any money that was left over from the previous insurance company'. Within a few days I got another call from her and she was offering me a quote . I wasn't too happy with the price and she told me that she would get a quote person to redo the price for me . I got a new price that we settled on and agreed to . The process was fast easy and simple I would highly recommend this company to any home owner I just hope no other insurance company goes bankrupt!!!
