Besides having an excellent name Fifth Third Bank also has lobby hours on Saturday which is great because even though ATMs and online and mobile banking can handle most transactions there's times a person wants to see another person. Jessie is a swell fellow and got me squared away pretty quick, went through the various types of deposit, checking accounts (plus wealth management in case I get some wealth.) Anyway, it's nice little branch with a pair of drive ups out side and a couple of tellers and offices inside. The lobby is well appointed and tidy; waiting area has a couple cushy seats and single shot coffee machine. Nice to see they are showing restraint with my hard earned cash.

The "preferred" relationship manager. Michael Barboza secured Money Market acct at 2.75%, stating that was an exception and the best he could get. Less than 2 weeks later a Money Market flyer from fifth third arrived in the mail offering 4.25%. when we brought it to the bank Michael Barboza and Jessica Medina, branch manager refused to honor it saying it was only for new money. Be careful, it appears they will trap you in a lower rate and then refuse to honor the higher rate mailers they send out.

New name is Truist and that is true for all BB&T and Suntrust locations. We have been BB&T Customers since 1995. The Huntersville location has always been our home location although this branch was closest to where we lived and we were in there frequently. It never closed when the acquisition occurred and the only change was the changing of the sign on the door. Personal remained the same and services remained excellent. My wife and I went through the drive through about 2 hours ago. Same service and friendly atmosphere. One thing about this location, the one in Huntersville and the one in Denver is that if the Dog is in the car, chances out they are going to get a treat. First and Worst experience. I opened a student account for checking/savings. After speaking to a…read morebanker they sent me a link to sign up online (easy enough) because I called on a Saturday and new accounts can only be made by appointment? I went through the online process and got to the point to transfer external funds into my account. I had a daily maximum ($5000) of how much funds I can transfer INTO my PNC account ( strange). I verified my external account, then I ran into issues where I could no longer get logged into the online banking App and website, to the point where their help desk couldn't even get me logged in. I had to go into the branch to do a second form of fund verification (annoying) and the funds transferred(yay). The manager of the bank called me that day and said that they couldn't verify funds and I still am revoked from my from my online account because the investigator couldn't match up SOFI bank to the listed transfer name of Bankcorp in the external transfer even though account numbers matched up. So I asked them to terminate my account because I can't even use online banking and this has been two weeks of issues. She said I don't have to do anything to terminate the account but now my money is sitting in a bank account I don't have online access to AND I am supposed to believe that this account will just terminate and send funds back to where it came from when the external funds transferred through already?? I would recommend going anywhere else- don't offer online sign up if you have to come in to the branch to verify do a second verification anyway. Super frustrating experience!!

I have deposited and used my money continuously; however, they just charged me $7 for "inactivity." I was not sent a notice nor have I been sent an updated debit card to actually use this account, which is why I was only able to use this account for sending/receiving money from friends. I wrote to them this morning to just mail me my remaining balance and close the account. I'm hoping they are fair to those of you who actually have debit cards so that you can give them the activity they need to avoid that and other charges. They used to be so good to me when I lived there, but if you move they don't communicate with you and just do things without attempting to contact you. At least that had been my experience.

It beeps when you press the keypad and gives you the option to email or print receipt. What I like most is that the machine returns the card before it dispenses the money and receipt. I've left my card several time using the old method.
