The Pastor, Matt Heverly, is friendly, and speaks directly from the Bible, he is knowledgeable and ties his sermon together with personal stories and connects it to our modern day life. I'm so happy I discovered this church! I've only been here a few times but I'm looking forward to getting closer to God here!! They have 3 church services each Sunday which is super convenient! Pastor Rich and his wife Kristi made us feel very welcomed, and still do to this day. Our church family is awesome, we could not ask for more! The treat during the summer months is our weekly "Reading in the Psalms" right on the beach, with a BBQ. It is such a great way to unwind on a Thursday night with the ocean crashing and great worship with reading in the Bible. I love the fact this church has youth groups for children of all ages, Men's breakfast the first Saturday of the month, Women's group, and home fellowship during the week. The teaching is sound biblical and practical teaching, I love that. The worship leads me to the feet of Jesus and it's a privilege I don't take for granted, to be part of. I have a service dog who has attended every church service with me - we were even openly welcomed at Athey Creek where Pastor Brett Meador teaches, and our own church in Salem. As we were walking up - a guy in a red tshirt tells us my service dog isn't allowed. Very disappointing!! We left and drove back to Faith Baptist where I went as a teenager for events.

Some simple food was served after like pasta and hot dogs. Coffee and tea was available before and after. Worth a visit!
