Does that make it good church? A young guitar player on the stage sang a song he wrote. It was raw and real. Spoke with Clide afterwards about driving and riding freight trains, one of my favorite conversations. Pastor James is cheerful and genuine. He likes meat and loves Jesus. Received a free Billy Graham party kit. Watched the DVD and it had me shedding tears too. Christians have heart.

We decided to attend again to experience a "standard service" and we have never looked back. The messages are phenomenal and are from the bible...not opinion. This is the first church my husband has ever been to as a new believer and he has felt so welcomed by everyone including the Pastor, who by the way is relatable, engaging and humorous. This really is a gathering of humans rejoicing and celebrating the love they all share for our Father.

I have a service dog who has attended every church service with me - we were even openly welcomed at Athey Creek where Pastor Brett Meador teaches, and our own church in Salem. As we were walking up - a guy in a red tshirt tells us my service dog isn't allowed. Very disappointing!! We left and drove back to Faith Baptist where I went as a teenager for events.

Both of his sermons/homilies were well thought out and pretinent. I walked out of the church feeling renewed. I hope to attend a mid week bible study in the fall. If the bible study is like the service I am sure it will be equally fulfilling and renewing.
