Ever since I first arrived, I've just been surrounded by encouraging and loving people. There are so many life lessons that I've been taught by participating in this wonderful body of believers. There are two services each Sunday - one at 8:30 AM and one at 11:00 AM. The earlier is a (slightly) more traditional service, and the later is more contemporary. The church is known for its strong music ministry, strong teen and children's ministries, and Biblical preaching. Calvary Church believes that Jesus Christ is the only way to peace with God, and that the Bible is true and authoritative. If you are looking for a warm, welcoming church where you can be comfortable in either a suit or in jeans, Calvary is a good place to be.

I've heard the bible expressed in many ways but KLCC is opening my eyes to the Word of God in ways that I couldn't imagine. If you would have told me 5 years ago that I would be at a church like this I would have laughed. But having opened my mind and heart it's allowed me to see that this church really loves Jesus. Their purpose and direction is apparent...to see Jesus by any means. And to make sure that the message and the love of Christ is not just preached but demonstrated with passion and Joy. The church stands in one particularly gorgeous New England setting, with its tall Federalist steeple towering over the 200+ year old stately homes surrounding the Green, and make the scenery in New England so absolutely gorgeous. New England is where God decided to rest after the seventh day, and she liked it so much that she stayed there. This day, the parishioners were preparing for their pumpkin festival and the entire church yard was lined with huge pumpkins. The turning maples and oaks lent a most wonderful addition to the scenery. Sort of like living inside a post card. The more I travel around the world, the more I love New England. The service was really nice, we got to meet the Minister and he was a funny and modern person. And next to the church, across the street, there was yet another town park. What a wonderful view.
