This place is awful I set up a ride to and from work last week for this week and I called this morning to verify my ride. The little wannabe tough guy that answered the phone says we can't pick you up and hangs up on me. Then I call back and the slob that works mornings answers and I asked if he just hung up on me and she says yep sure did. Hey Gary if you didn't want my 60.00 a day you should have been a man and just said I'm no loaded instead of having your minions play little kid games. So after calling today and talking to Gary he was a huge asshole.. I asked why they didn't pick me up on Monday and he told me that they weren't going to. Supposedly that's what I used to tell the customers when I dispatched! Let me explain something for these morons it's hard to pick people up when you have only 4 cabs driving at night and one is a actual crackhead! And you can't count on them. They set you up to fail I was actually surprised that I was let go seeing how they just gave me extra hours and told me I deserved them.when I would complain about not having drivers they would tell me to just do what I can and give long ETA ! This place is despicable and sucks. I always made sure their regulars were picked up when they needed and stretched my drivers as much as possible. DON`T call these people!! Totally UNRELIABLE!! I called them for the 1rst time the EVENING before to ensure pick up at 8AM. I had a hospital appointment promptly at 9AM. VERY IMPORTANT TOO!! I got run around after run around and promises from Gary that the cab driver had a drop off the next block over. I called repeatedly and got excuse after excuse THEN an automated message saying the cab had arrived when my address was clearly stated SEVERAL times (yet they were on the next block over 40 mins LATE!!). I called Gary back and told him he has F`d up my life because they could not get it together his response was "Well if we F`d up your life; then DONT CALL US BACK!! One day I called this company for a taxi. I give them my location and everything seems fine. The taxi driver calls me 15 minutes later saying he was here but didn't see me. Turns out he was at the wrong location a couple blocks from where I was. No problem. He could have swung around the corner to me, I could have walked a couple blocks to meet him, but no......... When this guy realizes he's at the wrong location he starts screaming at me on the phone, calls me an idiot, makes a smart remark, then hangs up. I had a bad experience with this company. One of their drivers rear ended me and one employee in their office made it a nightmare for. She obstructed the insurance claim and failed to follow up on the insurance claim to the point where almost had to sue to get our claim processed. Very disappointing and a blatant disregard for doing the right thing. He arrived earlier than expected and there was a note in the system for my pick up. John was the dispatcher I spoke with during my first review and I wasn't content with the service. Called at 4:11 to be picked up in Bolingbrook. An hour and a half later I called and was told my cab was 20 minutes away. 40 minutes later I called and complained that my cab was over 2 hours late! The dispatcher leveled with me that they always say "20 minutes" to the caller. And I was assured that a cab was now assigned to me. Cab showed up at 7:20! If you need to be somewhere on time, DO NOT call this company! The last 3 times I decided to use them, I would call at least an hour ahead to ensure they'd be waiting for me at the Metra when my train would arrive. I would even ask "will the driver be on time or should I call somewhere else"? (Understanding the call volume during rush hour). Yet every time they would ensure me that they "would in fact be there", there Id find myself waiting nearly half an hour past my time requested. My final straw with the company was this morning however. I had to be at my train by 6:47am, so i could be at the spa I mange, to open up for a painter we had hired. This time I called nearly 24 hours in advance to place the order for 6:20am. I decided (given their track record) to call around 6:15 this morning to double check my driver would be arriving within the next 5 minutes. And AGAIN the young lady I had spoken with stated that my driver was "in route and should be arriving shortly". Lo and behold she pulls up to my house at 6:43! So of course I miss my train! The only saving grace was that after conveying my terrible experience with this company, the dispatcher agreed to having the driver take me all the way downtown free of charge. Case and point this company is disorganized. The dispatcher blames the drivers, the drivers blame the dispatchers, no one ever seems to be at fault. Its sad because I know this is a fairly new company with nicer and cleaner vans. Unfortunately it looks like ill be going back to Mcnamara for cab services. Not only was the driver 45 mins late, he had no apologizes and did not wear his mask the whole duration of the drive. His excuse was that he was medically exempt from wearing one. I didn't catch his name but he had a handlebar mustache. I'm sorry but with the COVID numbers rising, that's unacceptable. My sister has medical conditions and she wears a mask at all times even when it's hard to breathe. I'm pregnant therefore have a weakened immune system right now and had to put a second mask on to protect myself from the driver. That's unacceptable. The dispatcher should have notified us about this or he shouldn't be working as a driver. Instead, the whole time the driver wore his mask as a chin diaper ... so he had one but chose not to wear it. The phone was answered immediately by Sarah in pleasant voice that made me feel that they cared about quality service. Yesterday evening I made a time stop for 9:15 the next morning to go to Midway. I even called at 8 AM to make sure they were coming and the woman said Yes, you are going to Midway. We have you on the list for pickup. Right on time, Bill was waiting for me in a clean SUV. Took First Call Cab to and from Midway recently. I called in advance to book the cab and the driver arrived promptly for both the pick-up and return from the airport. I was a little concerned with the coordination for the airport pick-up but that went very smoothly. The driver was calling me to let me know he was there just as I was pulling my bag off of the baggage claim belt. I will be using this service again. read more

I used this taxi service to get too and from the airport, it was very cheap, only $22 and the drivers were very nice. I don't think I've ever had such nice drivers before when using other taxi companies. The only complaint I would have is when being picked up from the airport, they said to call them and they'd notify to driver, I called and waited a half hour which then the driver called to see if I was ready for pick up. Do NOT EVER call this cab company if you need a decent, on-time ride anywhere. We have used this company a couple of times for rides to and from Midway airport and each time gets worse. Never again!!! We were picked up on time for our departure flight but the minivan seats were not arranged to have room for our luggage. For the return trip when we called for the cab we were told 15 minutes. We called again after 25 minutes to confirm and were told the driver was caught in traffic. After another 15 minutes we called again and were told maybe he had to stop to use the bathroom. Really?? After the third call we were told they rerouted another driver. Our cab arrived 55 minutes after our call. The driver had the radio blasting and I had to request he turn it down. There was a smelly half eaten hamburger in the front seat. The cabs do not have a/c and you ride with the windows open and the passenger doors are difficult to open/close. There were no lights on the dashboard. It was a very unpleasant ride and a terrible ending to a wonderful vacation. read more
