The majority were very playful and made a great experience. The Playful room was younger cats / kittens and they also loved up to their names. NEVER SPECIAL ORDER FROM HERE! So about a month ago I went in looking for a gerbil. Now, I know…read morethis place is mainly for aquatic pets, so I knew it was a long shot. I was pleasantly surprised when they said that ordering me one from their supplier would be no problem, and that I should check back on Friday, the next Tuesday at the latest. So began a month long saga of me calling them, being told it would be on such and such a day (usually one within a week) and to call back then, only to be told the same bloody thing when I did. In all honesty I lost count how many times I did this. It was at least four. When I finally started to complain about being lead on the people I spoke to claimed zero responsibility for the issue. They claimed it was a miscommunication both between staff and their supplier (and this miscommunication was somehow not the store's problem). They also seemed not to understand why I was pissed that what I ordered was not in when they said, and that there was no indication it ever would be. In fact they ranted to me as much as I ranted to them (which in all honesty I bet a lot of other retail people wish they could do). I also know for a fact that this is not the first time something like this has happened with them. My mom ordered rabbit bedding from them and was continually lead on in exactly the same fashion. So yeah, if you're looking for rodent materials, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. And if you are looking for something aquatic they don't have in stock, DON'T SPECIAL ORDER. At the very least don't put any money down, because odds are they are never going to deliver.
