The store and tanks ARE filthy. Barely wanted to touch the door. I told you exactly when and where I bought the fish from (November/Dan's fish), sent photo AND video so you would know that it was a healthy, quality fish that I chose to re-home which you no doubt will sell for a profit. I'm not petty to get even over $10-$15 credit, although I could have drove 40 minutes to Absolutely Fish and received store credit. The blonde girl in the store had a mouth on her and an attitude that I didn't appreciate. I wasn't even talking to her but she felt the need to pipe up anyway. The girl behind the counter said no credit or trade because the fish was too small. As a business owner, you have to take the bad reviews (just scroll to see many others) with the good. Shame on YOU my friend for taking the time to try and challenge my review instead of Hey sorry you had a bad experience today thanks for the fish that I will probably sell for $20 or more. We loved this aquatic store when we went in to pick up our new 90 gallon tank. Howie the owner and his staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great variety of saltwater fish at reasonable prices. We came back several weeks later after our tank had been cycling to purchase our first pair of clownfish. Mind you, this wasn't our first saltwater tank so we were versed on testing parameters and how to maintain a saltwater tank. The young lady who helped us, while knowledgeable, was condescending and negative which turned us off. She even cursed while she explained fish, frags and other elements of saltwater aquariums. While we're no prudes, we found her attitude unprofessional. We ended up purchasing a pair of clownfish but it's unfortunate that we probably won't return. There's nothing worse than a young person making a 60 something year old feel stupid. read more

If I could put 0 starts I would To start off they sell over priced sick fish I have purchased a few fish that died a day or 2 later, each time they demanded to test my water which always came back perfect. Second think they rip off the breeders that provide them the fish they sell in store, we brought 50 shrimp in 20 blue and 30 low end reds we were told they would be buying the shrimp for $1 a shrimp as the agreement from previous transactions, as well as on the phone before coming in when we got to the store handed the women the cups of shrimp which she dumped into their shrimp tank, we were told to go to the counter to see the guy working the counter to get the payment for the shrimps, the women told the guy not to pay for the red shrimp and they told me that they could give me $15 for the 20 blue shrimp while speaking to the employee at the counter the lady who initially took the shrimp was selling said shrimp to a man telling him they would sell to him for $5 ea shrimp the man had told them he would take 9. To say they are blatantly rude and unprofessional is an understatement we couldn't tell them to give us the shrimp back as they had already dumped the shrimp in the tank as we believed from previous transactions and speaking on the phone prior to coming in a set amount was agreed on. They may have gotten some free shrimp but have definitely lost some very loyal customers read more

Every time I've been here the employees were amazingly helpful and knowledgeable about the fish and what temperatures are best for them. Their displays are often gorgeous and they'll give you inspiration to want saltwater tanks that you know nothing about but you can absolutely inundate them with all your questions. They also have a phenomenal array of colorful fish and some black clownfish that I'm obsessed with. read more

animal abuse. Theres a large display tank with a bunch of cichlids, a pleco, and a silver arowana. There's a huge fake coral pole in the middle that takes up 90% of the space. I had bought a betta and 6 Indian glass fish (special order) (several months apart). the betta had ich, and half of the glass fish died within a week. The tanks that held the available fish were incredibly overstocked, and disgusting. The tanks were better at Petco. Do not buy here, don't support this abuse. read more

I called looking for fresh water mollies, sword tails and other fresh water fish. I was told yes they had them. After driving over a half hour I walk in store is filthy, tanks were so dirty it was sad. There were maybe 3 pair of fish I could get but very over priced. I'd never recommend this store to anyone. read more

The only reason this store is getting a 2 instead of a 1 is because two of their workers spent a great deal of time discussing pros and cons of different items with me. Other than that my experience with Aquaridise has been horrible. I spent $500 on lights which we special ordered through them, I was pretty happy because they were $25 less than online pricing. However, when I called to make arrangements to pick them up I was told that there was no record of a payment being made and I could pay when I came in. I informed him I had paid in cash that day in full. Thankfully I had my receipt! It's amazing to me that they didn't keep a copy of the receipt attached to the purchase order and that they didn't notice a surplus of $500 in their register from that day! The next problems were they ordered black lights when I had ordered them in white which I didn't complain about because it was the same brand so it's not a huge deal. Then when I asked for the bracket to hang the lights that I had also already paid for, he said it hadn't gotten ordered but he would try and get it here the next day or on Monday. They apologized for the mix ups when I was there and I went on to spend around $200 more that same day. I called the next day to see if the bracket was there and the worker that day said it wasn't in but they had a $40 one I could buy. He said the one I ordered had probably shipped but he couldn't be sure since he didn't have access to ordering and tracking info etc. I told him another local store had three in stock and could I receive a refund so I could purchase what I needed that day. He said hold on and then came back on the phone confirmed the price and item and said it was there in the store, his mistake. So we went all the way there and they didn't have it! We were again offered the $40 one or we could wait another week for the right one to be ordered but decided to cut our losses and take the refund so I could buy the $25 one I wanted at the other store. I appreciate the workers willingness to help customers decide on products but management needs to seriously step up with their ordering system or they need to stop taking special orders until they have an organized system that actually works. They lost a long term customer because of it. There are too many nearby fish stores to have to deal with consistent bad customer service. read more

I really like the guys at Aquaridise. My children are just getting into fish tanks but we have no clue what to do or how to keep our fish away from a toilet funeral. The guys at Aquaridise are extremely knowledgeable. They listen to your wants/needs and come up with a quick resolution to your situation. They set us up with two, ten gallon kits (one for each boy) and they were very patient while my kids picked out their fish ("that one!...NO WAIT!...not that one...THAT one!) They will test your water for you if you are having problems keeping your little fishies belly down. They also have every fish decoration a little brat needs (my youngest needed the Crusty Crab in his tank). I like taking the kids here and getting supplies or a new fish. I went into the store after my daughter asked for a fish for Christmas. My only knowledge of fish came from a few YouTube videos, and this was going to both of our first tanks. Steve, was the first employee I enter acted with. He walked me through everything I would need to get started, taking time to explain what each item was, and what it did vs just piling a bunch of stuff on the counter. The first trip resulted in my purchase of a tank starter kit, and a few of the accessories I would need. I did have to order a stand for the tank and was told it would arrive in a few days. We decided to leave the items there until the stand came in and I would pick everything up at the same time. To make a long story short, after a couple of issues with the delivery of the stand. The owner, Howie, knowing it was a Christmas present for my daughter, gave me a stand that was at least $50 over if not more what I paid. Not to mention that he personally delivered it to my door. The most recent visit was to pick up the fish. Will, was there throughout the entire process, often assisting Steve with any areas that required additional clarification. Will was very patient as he let my daughter and I peruse, the many fish available. After finding the fish my daughter liked, Will let us k ow everything we needed to know about the fish, including temperature, pH, and even food. The moral of the story is that if you want a olace with knowledge, customer service, and a great selection, skip over the big pet stores and go see Howie and his crew at Aquaridise! read more

Been meaning to check this store out for a while and I am so glad I did! Upon entering we were greeted by an older gentleman who seemed pretty busy and didn't bother with us any further. HOWEVER, a young man who was elbow deep cleaning a tank offered to help. He took us on a tour of the shop, asked us what our experience level was, what kind of tanks we had/wanted, what we were looking for, etc. Even though we made it clear that we weren't looking to buy anything during this trip (I am upgrading to a larger tank that I already have, but it isn't ready for plants or fish yet), he stayed with us - showing us compatible fish for our tanks, photos of fish that they didn't currently have in stock but could order, and some cool accessories that we'd never seen before. We even got to chatting about his own aquariums and he showed us some pictures. A second young associate chimed in as well. It is evident that these aren't the kind of associates like the big chain stores hire. These young men really knew what they were talking about! I will definitely become a repeat customer and I even asked the associate (by now I discovered his name was Devin) when he was working again. His passion was contagious and I can't wait to get my larger tank up and running. Beyond just the great customer service, the tanks are crystal clean and the fish are extremely healthy. I've had discus tanks in the past and paid boatloads for designer fish... their fish rival those. I do wish the prices of tank accessories were a bit lower, but the quality and customer service is worth the few extra bucks. Again - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

I first went into the Store about 8 months ago because I was interested in getting started with my first tank. I had visited 4 stores before going into Aquaridise. Once I spent time with the owner and staff I knew I was in the right store. We bought a 90 gallon saltwater tank and a service plan. Since then everything we bought for the tank, equipment, Fish ect has been from this store. We had a few problems, some created by me being a novice. In every case whether I created the problem or not they have patiently helped me and fixed what was wrong, they give great advice on which fish I should buy given what I have in the tank. They always have some awesome fish to look at or buy! I come here every so often just to look at the fish and on occasion, buy a fish or two or three. The employees are really knowledgeable and gave me advice when i was setting up my tanks. The fish are beautiful and I will buy more there when I have time to set up a saltwater tank in the future. I love when I go there and they have seahorses. They are such awesome fish that fascinate me, and they're fun to watch. My favorite fish that I have ever gotten there was my Candy Cane tetra. It was a normal looking tetra that had red and white fins and it lasted a good two years! Some fish are expensive but that's because they are uncommon and hard to raise, so really all the fish are reasonably priced. read more

They are right when they say a fish lover's paradise! The staff their seem to know their stuff. Admittedly, I don't know much about fish. I just wanted a simple betta fish and now I can't get enough. They love to talk about the fish, what they need, who pairs up with who, the water, the food, etc... and they won't sell you unneeded stuff. I can't thank them enough. The owner and the team seem to really enjoy what they do. They have some pretty awesome tank set ups at what seems to be very fair prices. Aquaridise has a HUGE selection of fish and Howie (the owner) truly knows his stuff. I visited recently with my two sons (5 & 2) and Howie was so incredibly patient and helpful. He took the time to help us choose fish that would be just perfect for us. It was such a great experience. They have tons of exotic and unusual fish that you won't find at Petsmart. If this place isn't right around the corner from you, it is absolutely worth it to take the drive. Howie is truly one of a kind and is great with kids. It is obvious that he is passionate about what he does and truly cares about the fish and his customers. Also, if you love plecos, you must go.... they have a great selection of fancy ones. First introduced to Amano shrimp here and now i love them. Bought my first Anacharis plant here too and now its just part of my full tank of live plants. Decent sized LFS that sells driftwood and rocks, basically everything you need to set up a tank. The fish were quite overpriced and one black oscar had it's growth stunted. I am giving a 4 star instead of a 3 because of the helpful employees that were very informative. After a horrible experience with PETCO, where as first time freshwater tank owners we were severely misinformed leading to all our fishes dying within 24 hours and that too the fishes themselves were of pathetic quality, I came upon Aquaridise on the Internet and visited it after reading rave reviews about the quality of fishes and the helpful owners.. We are so pleased to have made the best decision ever to come here..the fishes are Excellent and the owners are extremely knowledgeable about everything from the fishes to plants to the water quality and would especially like to thank Howie for his help, my tap water's PH levels are off the charts and Howie suggested us fish the would survive in that, rather then sell us other expensive fishes and products. The store is amazing but the owner doesn't stand by the work his workers perform and that was disappointing. Will was cleaning my tank regularly and cleaned my FX4 and my tank developed a algae bloom and I contacted the owner Howard who sent another employee Sam who was extremely knowledgeable and I expected the visit to be comped because Will was there a week prior of course it wasn't comped and I was charged again. I owe an invoice at this time and will pay in full but will never use them again read more

I highly recommend this store, the staff is very helpful and very kind. They maintain their tanks very well, and the corals look very healthy and happy. This is the safest place to go when shopping for fish, plants, and corals. Update: I just got an orange-striped prawn goby from them. They are known not to eat for a few days after introducing them into your tank, they are also known to not take pellet food. However, when I put my goby into my tank, I fed him pellets right away and he ate them. The fish they sell are extremely healthy. read more

Decent selection but nothing to rave about. Way overpriced in my opinion. Small freshwater fish going for 12 bucks and up. There were a few larger fish that were priced a little better (as compared to the small ones). The staff is freindly, tank cleanliness is average.
