They charged $160 to diagnose an issue that turned out to be low fluid, something that felt pretty obvious and quick to identify. I've always understood that if you move forward with the repair, the diagnostic fee is typically applied or waived, but that wasn't the case here. The $350 for the transmission fluid flush itself seemed reasonable, but adding the $160 on top of that for such a simple diagnosis didn't sit right. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not one that left me feeling great either.

After reviewing the code in her 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, the car needed a new engine, and it was a recall. Initially, the service team provided excellent service. We paid nearly 2,000.00 for suggested service surrounding an engine replacement. We live 3 hours from this location and when it was ready, we drove to pick it up. When we drove about 17 miles, the check engine light came on again, so we called and they told us to drive it back. After reviewing the code, we were told it was the catalytic converter and that had nothing to do with the recall. We were told it was safe to drive home and if there were any issues, we could take it to the local dealership, and the engine issue would be covered. When we got home, we took the vehicle to a local mechanic to check the converter. They called me in and told me to stop driving it immediately. The manifold cover was damaged, and oil was leaking all over the place. I called Taylor Hyundai, and after multiple attempts, by phone and text, from both my daughter and I, I finally got a call back. I was told to take it to my local Hyundai Dealership. So, I did, and I was told by service it was not their problem and only the dealership that did the work can look at it for free. So began my journey of trying to reach Taylor Hyundai. It's been almost 2 weeks. Between my daughter, my wife, and I, we have left several messages and cannot get ahold of anybody but service. Every number they transfer us to goes straight to voicemail. We have received no call backs after leaving several messages. No texts responding to a call back. This is the most terrible service I have ever received by any company.
