First Choice does not care about customers or take care of them in my experience. I'd recommend you try Whisler if you are in Rock Springs.

f I could give Negative stars I would (DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FREMONT)…read more Kristine Sell is the only person that I worked with on this matter that was worth it (5star for her only) Have lost all faith with Fremont Motors I have bought many vehicles from this company over the years but in the last few years these purchases have been horrible. The most recent being a low miles 2008 ram 2500 with a 6.7 cummins. First off the truck was delivered and the driver told me the check engine light was on which was checked and showed a couple codes. I contacted the dealership the next day as the delivery was at 8pm. Once I got the truck home I noticed alot of major rust on the truck that was not disclosed to me before buying after a brief conversation it was agreed they would replace the completely rusted through door. They picked the truck up and took it back saying I would have the truck back in a couple days. They where supposed to replace and repaint the door if it was a different shade, the door was the right shade off of a 3500 (left the 3500 bagding on) but had a bunch of paint chips and the window was messed up. Not only did they just slap the door on, the chrome trim that was on it was trashed as they just ripped it off the old do and stuck it on all bent and dented took almost two weeks to get the truck back in this state. Now with issue two the one code it has was supposed to be an o2 sensor. Instead of fixing this issue while they had it they just threw the new sensor on the seat and said do it myself OK not a big deal just a shitty way to do business. I took the truck to my local shop after replacing the o2 and still having issues they found the battery cables where melted and the grid heater wires where grounded out against the block. So I reached out to the dealership (no response) so I had my shop replace all of the needed parts for the electrical issue (680.00) this fixed all my issues with power but still had a check engine light for the o2 sensor (new sensor) so again tried to reach out the fremont motors in rocksprings no response again (call, voicemail, text, and email) so again I went the route of the repair which was the complete replacement of the DPF system (2000 parts) (500 labor) this did finally fix the issue so I could drive this truck which only has 98k miles. The biggest part of my issue was fremont motors advertises their 2 month 2000 mile warranty even had me sign the paper showing this but have not covered anything or even respond to me at all. Even with paperwork showing what they cover or do they will not take care of this. Sadly I have been working with Fremont motors since 2012 I have bought 10 different vehicles and after this last time I will NEVER buy from a Fremont motors again. After reaching back out to Gabe at Fremont about his reply (Daniel, this is very discouraging to read, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I've left you a message, as I'd like to learn more about these concerns, as we value your opinion, satisfaction, and business. When you have an opportunity to speak, please call me directly at 307-362-2151. I hope to hear from you. Regards, Gabe Lloyd - General Manager - glloyd@fremontmotors.com) My thoughts are the same this has been by far the worst experience I have had with a Fremont Motors. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! My advice don't buy anything used from them unless you have a 3rd party shop say it is worth buying. and do not expect them to do anything even if you have the paperwork showing they will.

They are completely ignorant. Connie is the worst of them, she is horrible on the phone, always disrespectful. She does not have an ounce of customer service if it bit her in the ass. She is RUDE, unkind, and should just retire already since she wants to complain so much. Justin can't multitask to save his life. He's suppose to be the service "manager" The only thing he seems to manage in there is wasting everybody's time. I saw a mountain of unanswered messages on their desk and three more brought into them while I was standing there and they had not even greeted me yet. When he was paged over the intercom to get a phone call he said " I don't have time for this today" barely answered the phone just to tell the guy he'll have to ask auto zone and abruptly hanging up on him, I could still hear the guy talking!! I am appalled. Brandon in service, as there's two of them at the store now, the one in service who took over for Bailey is never at the counter. My son has needed a part for weeks that Brandon STILL has not gotten back to him on. These guys are a train wreck and complain their busy and don't have the time to get work done yet Shawn, the main tech and only real tech, has NOTHING to do so he comes to the front to ask if there's any work! Kinda contradicts don't you think? Pure laziness. Shame on Wayne for allowing this service department to be this bad. He's a great man and I KNOW his department can do better. How do you expect customers to be happy and want to come back? I know I am not coming back anymore. Took them two days to get my sons bike tube replaced, no call, no hey you can come pick up. I had to call and get an update, and surprise!! They had to take a message. Ridiculous and unprofessional. You are not busy, you are LAZY!!! There is no money at the counter because you let your service department ruin business. Their not doing their best, their getting away with treating people poorly and using a wet blanket excuse. Please for the love of god do better.

We called Whisler Chevrolet (they were the closest to our location), and were told to bring the vehicle by and they would check it and get us back on the road quickly. Upon arrival (11am), we were informed the service technician was on his way to lunch and would diagnose our vehicle when he got back from lunch in an hour. After some time we were told the vehicle needed a new transmission, and they had one in the shop, but were waiting for GM to approve the repair as a warranty claim. Eventually, the warranty repair was approved by GM, but we were told the repair would not be made until Monday morning because no shop work was done after hours or on weekends. We were very frustrated because we had been at the dealership for 7 hours and nothing had been done to repair our vehicle. The shop employee suggested we talk to a salesperson about trading our vehicle for a new truck (which we had only had for 4 months). She introduced us to the salesperson, and the first thing he told us was the repair amount would be subtracted from our trade-in value despite the fact it was a warranty issue (this practice hardly seems ethical). We canceled our weekend plans, rented a U-haul truck so we could tow our camper to a campground less than a mile from the dealership, and spent 3 unnecessary days in a town in which we had no interest.

Unfortunately, that dealership was Brower Brothers Nissan. I asked for a spare chipped key to start the vehicle and asked to have a door key cut. That caused some confusion (I even mentioned if they don't do door keys, I'd go to a hardware store) and an overcharge, since they misinterpreted my request for a door key and decided to make two chipped spare keys. I was in a hurry since I came from out of town and had a timeline to get home in order to pick up my kids. My bad, I didn't refuse the second key on the spot. I should have, because what I wanted was a spare chipped key and a metal door key. Ultimately, Brower Brothers Nissan refused to admit fault and gleefully made more money off of me than they should have. I will be taking my truck elsewhere for service, since if I can't trust a dealership with a simple key request, why would I trust them with something I need to depend on to get around? It would have been easy for them to tell me, "No, we don't make door keys." I would have left happy with my spare key and made another appointment for a multi point inspection on my truck. I'm disappointed. I like to support local (and in Wyoming, local is a relative term) businesses and often go out of my way to do so. I will not be returning to this business and urge others to avoid them if possible.

We were pretty concerned, as we only have a few days to look around, and in Wyoming you need a good vehicle to do so. So we checked online last night at about 4:30pm which was dicey in itself because they close at 5. But we drove down there anyway to talk with them, and even as they were closing, they were able to make a spot for us this morning 8/28/25. We got there at 8am and before we could ask, Kira at the front desk offered to find us a ride back to our hotel. We gratefully accepted! The owner Rick gave us a ride and after talking for a few minutes, we felt very comfortable with both him and his establishment. He assured us that they would do everything in their power to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. Right after 9am, we got a call from them, letting us know they found the issue and would start fixing it right away. So we took a short walk around our hotel's neighborhood and not long after we came back, the phone rang again. They had fixed our truck and it was ready! It wasn't even noon yet! We were very impressed. And Rick came back to pick us up at our hotel to get our truck. Many thanks to everyone involved; Rick, Kira and shop mgr Jay, plus the mechanics who worked so efficiently to get us going again! You guys have definitely earned another customer- when we relocate out here we have about seven vehicles including two car show classics that will need maintenance.
