I hired First Choice Garage Doors to replace and repair my garage door. I had called several other garage door companies first. After getting taken advantage of by one, I decided to call different companies to get quotes for repair or replacement of the door. Some companies had me take pictures and measurements, so they didn't have to come out to my home. The one that did come out wouldn't give me a written quote for replacing the door. I was going to use one of these companies when I fortunately received the shopper.net in my mail. I called and offered to send pictures and measurements, but was told no, we would come out and inspect and recommend repair or replacement, and I would give you a written quote and timeline to do the job. I went with First Choice and saved time and money. My technician was outstanding. I couldn't be happier with First Choice. They are professional, courteous, friendly, and honest. Excellent customer service! We have used this company several times over the years and they always deliver great service. Our garage door on our new home started acting up and we called around 4pm on a Friday. We weren't expecting that a service tech would be able to come out until the next day or even Monday at the latest. But, the tech said he was in our area and could stop by within the hour. Thirty minutes later, he was at the house and diagnosed we had a lose wire and fixed it for us at a reasonable price. He even performed maintenance on the door to prevent squeaking. So I've been putting band-aids on my garage door for about two years now, and it finally got to the point that I needed to replace it. I sent an internet request for a quote over the weekend, and received a response with a phone number and name to call to get additional info. I called (Dave) and he told me that Kellon was the man in my 'Neck of the woods'. I called Kellon and he was there the next day, promptly when we had arranged, based on both our schedules. It only took him a few minutes to appraise my needs, work up a quote, including the current discounts and coupons, and provide it all in writing. I agreed, and he ordered all the required materials (no deposit required) and set up a installation date just a few days later. On the day of install, they arrived promptly at the scheduled time, had everything they needed to complete the work, and were very efficient. New door, rails, supports, guides, springs, cables, the "works" in 2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves, were polite and careful of the personal property I had in the garage. Great experience with First Choice on replacing garage door opener. Kellon was totally genuine and sincere during review of all the options. Our 5 year old garage door opener electric system was blown due to power surges caused by a damaged GA Power electricity pole. Cost effective to replace entire unit. First Choice came out two days after we called; reviewed the options with us on Saturday, ordered the unit and scheduled the installation for Monday.
