So I have a GT mustang convertible I wanted to get the windows. I called around to a bunch of…read moreplaces, ended up with ZJ detailing. I was told on the phone that it would take 2 hours to do the install. I drove from Miamisburg so I told they guy 2 hours would be perfect. He also told me there are places to eat near there. I arrived promptly at 9:00, I was told well there is someone in front of you but I was next in line (glad I made an appointment). Everytime I looked through the glass the tech was one his phone. So the two hours came and went as did hour 3, 4 and 5! I missed a very important meeting because I trusted this company. Now I get why they kept calling to get me to do it. They don't have that many happy customers! I would highly NOT recommend this company, take your hard earned money someone where you can trust them! Sure they will reach out and say sorry but does that really fix anything??? DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

I would run from this business…read more I wish they spent as much money training their employees as they did on their website I had my new car PPF last year and the PPF is bubbling and peeling off the car. I tried since last year to leave phone messages but no one would return my call. One employee told me the phone number was the owner's home phone number and he never returns calls. I have visited the business at least 5 times and the employees said the owner would call me but I'm still waiting One employee said the PPF person left last year and they are getting alot of customers coming back with PPF problems but they can't or won't attempt to fix their work Do Not use this business for any services they advertising because the quality of their work is below substandard

    Gates Brothers Glass

    Gates Brothers Glass

There are two glass company's in the Sidney, Ohio area: Gates Brothers, and Hemm's Glass. I chose…read moreGates Brothers over Hemm's Glass because I've always seen Hemm's as being more of an industrial, not as personable, company. Gates has been around for 70ish years, and I've never heard anything bad about them. I called Gated Brothers Glass in Sidney, Ohio to get a glass door and stationary glass panel for a custom shower I put in my house. I spoke with Tom Gates II. Initially, communication was great with e-mails; getting things right sending pictures to him and giving him the rough dimensions. He sends me a sketch, pictures of hardware, and an estimate. He even gets me a deal on a door they had in their warehouse that was left over from some other job where it wasn't quite right for that job. All looks great. He sent someone out to measure and check plumb/level. They came and measured. About a month goes by and I've heard nothing from them at this point, so I call the Sidney office. I leave a message with the secretary for Tom to return my call as I was advised he was unavailable at the moment. I never received a call back from Tom or anybody else so I tried calling again. This time Tom answers, and informs me they just wanted to make sure everything was "just right with this job." Mind you it's been just shy of 2 months since the guy came and measured at this point. Another two weeks and nothing, so I tried contacting Tom via e-mail. He replied, simply asking, "What is the job site address? I thought I had info on that, but can't find." Ok, so I gave him my address again. I heard nothing for another week, so I left a couple more messages with the Sidney office secretary again. I even stopped in twice. One of those times, I could hear Tom in a nearby office talking on the phone. The secretary acted as if she didn't want me waiting for Tom to get off the phone so I, one again, left my contact information (as if she didn't already know who I was). I even asked her if Tom was receiving the messages, which she said he was. Another week goes by so I e-mailed and told them if they lost my job information, they were welcome to come back out and re-measure. No reply was ever received whether it be through telephone or e-mail. If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would have. The professionalism level of Tom II, for being someone who heads up this division of a 70 year old renowned company, is ridiculously poor. If they didn't want to do the job, they should've just said that instead of leading me on.
