When we were finally able to move forward with the replacement, his crew was here at the crack of dawn and worked all out to get the roof replaced asap before the temperature could drop again. My insurance is not a good neighber. It has not really been there for us, but Turner Construction & Restoration certainly has been. I know exactly who I'm going to when we need to replace the roof on our detached garage. I can only speak for the roof work currently, but having seen how that was handled, I would highly recommend Turner Construction & Restoration for any of the services provided. My husband outreached to them and NO response. We had a man come out to clean our gutters and looked at that area. The shingles are pried up. The wood underneath is rotted and the top of the downspout is exposed. We have had two roofing companies come out and look at it. We have gotten estimates each in the thousands to fix it. Both companies pointed out separately to us that whoever fixed it that last time (Ridge to Valley) did a "half assed job".....their words, not mine. It's incredibly disappointing that we couldn't even get so much as a response even if it's to say they're too busy. I understand the roofer cannot control wildlife such as squirrels, etc getting in there but I question if that would've happened had the repair been better.

The main issue I had was all the flashing is wavy and not put back correctly -- looks like I did it and that doesn't say much. They also tore holes in my screens, left so much stuff behind including: several tools (left on the roof and in the lawn), the waking platform they added to put up the roof, and asked to keep the big truck in my driveway overnight, which I found odd. I asked the owner the come take a look at what was wrong, he did and assured me the workers would come back and fix it. They did come back but said it was too cold to actually fix the wavy flashing (supposedly you need warm weather to put up straight flashing) and they would come back this spring (2023) to fix it. I've text the owner several times to come back and am 'assured' they will come back but NOTHING. Here I am a year later and I am now going to pay someone to come fix it. Be careful, they do not stand behind their work to come fix things -- they are on to the next job. I really trusted them and I'm sad they are not following up. Very disappointed.

The buyer's inspector found a minor leak near the chimney. I called Burke's and asked them if they could come out and take a look at it. Mike Burke himself came out and took a look and determined that some flashing had been damaged by a raccoon that had tried to claw his way into our home. Even though this was not Burke's fault, he said that he would repair the damage at no cost because the roof was still under warranty. He didn't even ask to see any paperwork or receipts or anything. Mike Burke did a great job on the repair, was very professional and courteous, and I would totally hire him in a heartbeat if I ever needed a new roof in this area -- and he has a *solid* hand shake. I would give this guy 6 stars if I could.

Beware of Joe Hileman …read more He is completely dishonest . He met with us and presented himself as a father and son company . Not at all . We never saw him pick up a hammer! Never saw his son again either . Instead we saw several crews of non English speaking men mulling around our property. Anytime we did see Joe he never had time to talk with us . Was always in a hurry to get to another appointment. Basically , we had a new roof installed, some trim and some siding which he installed the wrong kind that doesn't match. Trim doesn't match either! They used my shingles,! So the job should have not cost so much ? Nope . They removed a concrete slab that we didn't want to be moved . They removed barn doors and never replaced them . They never completed the job! They left gutters off too . The whole experience was a nightmare. I could go on and on about all of this companies mistakes. We don't speak Spanish so we were unable to communicate with his workers. The worst was the bill ! Unbelievable. The bottom line was to have a bunch of Mexicans on my property for two months all needing a paycheck! Absolutely, no communication whatsoever with Hileman . We had no idea that he was going to give us a huge bill ! Since this mess we've had to spend thousands of dollars to fix numerous problems and we are still not done spending money. ! The company was a complete no-show. 4 days later and there's been no contact at all from them. This made for a pretty terrible first impression. I won't be calling them back as I have no interest in hiring a company that can't even manage their own schedule, and has no respect for my time.
