Even when the guys are in task mode and it's very busy Alex is so friendly and welcoming while he's got his hands full. I usually get the $40 full interior/exterior detail and if it's not a busy day it doesn't take more than 25-30 minutes. I once spilled my entire drink in my car and called nervously asking if it would be ok to come in with only a few minutes before closing. They let me come up and did what they could for the night, and we talked through the plan for me to come back within two days to finish getting the floor fully cleaned. It felt so intentional from all the guys who I talked with and the follow through on plan and pricing was intentional as well. I tell everyone about Prompt and the unbeatable value. When I have the ability to down the road I'll absolutely be getting a membership. If you're brand new to the experience it's just mildly confusing at first. Entrance is to the south west and you'll wait for someone to come talk to you before driving through the car wash. Then someone will direct you where to pull up. They don't tell you this because they're in task mode and assume you're a pro at this part: once you're parked in the lane they've directed you to, just leave your key but grab your wallet, phone, other essentials, and head on into the waiting room. Someone will come in and call out your car make/model when they're ready to take your payment, and again once they're done with your car. My friend first told me about Prompt a year ago and I'm so thankful. It has really been a godsend for my overwhelmed brain that I can steward car ownership in this way that's so accessible financially and from a fantastic team, when I'd otherwise let way too long go by without cleaning and sink further and further into guilt and overwhelm about it.

Once you pay the green light signals you to pull in. You pull up until the interior light turns red to stop. As you enter the under carriage gets a rinse. I did this wash at 8pm at night so if you need a late night wash, this is the spot. They also have bays for hand washing.

The automatic bay does a good job and it gives you 85(!) seconds of drying as you drive out. The only thing that's a drag is that there's no card readers for the hand wash bays. Should you ever need to call these guys (say you lose your apartment key one day and think you might have done it at the car wash, for example), the number is 801-694-1201.

I had a coffee spill in just the driver side front section and not under the seat as my car has a 2 inch ridge to catch stuff like that. The shop I took it to took 15 minutes max including check in. It was extraction and then combed through for crumbs and then washed. So of course I tipped well for the $35 cost.

Whenever my windows are dirty it's time for a car wash. The secret that I shouldn't say is you need to know what time of day to go there and they won't be crowded. That's all I'll say. When it is crowded, they speed up the conveyor belt that pulls the vehicle. When they aren't crowded, they slow the speed of the conveyor belt down, so you get a better wash. I find it cheaper then a manual wash with the hand wand. A few of the people that have a bad experience take the time to write a bad review and most of the others don't bother, they just take it for granted. The employees are always cheerful with me and I ask them questions about the wash. That's how I know things about them.
