In January 2022 Eric the owner of this company came out and did an estimate for my landscaping. I have a medium size backyard (3600 sq ft) and was having general yard cleaning, a sprinkler system and sod installed. I was told that they could begin in late February or the first week in March and finish before Masters. They finished at the end of May. IT TOOK THEM FOUR MONTHS TO DO 7 DAYS OF WORK! The owner Eric and I had already agreed to additional landscaping and sod in the front yard. That was supposed to be done in June, then July, then by the end of the summer. In October I was told by Eric that it would be best if I waited for the sod until March of 2023. They could put the sod down in the fall (of 2022) but it might not make it and that would be on me. AFTER WAITING FIVE MONTHS I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD WAIT AN ADDITIONAL SIX MONTHS! HORRIBLE COMMUNICATIONS! I would email, text or call and leave messages. Even after Eric and I had a conversation specifically about this issue, multiple times HE WOULDN'T RESPOND FOR WEEKS OR EVEN A MONTH OR MORE! All along I was being told that the delays were due to lack of employees or materials. I was trying to be flexible with the timeline but was just being taken advantage of. The final straw was when the owner Eric told me that he was having problems keeping up with a new residential housing development that he recently got the contract for. So, HE GOT A NEW JOB AND LEFT ME HANGING, even thought we had been discussing this since January. Finally, this February (2023) I noticed that there were several large patches of dirt where the sod had been laid. I called Eric to see if he would replace the sod. I explained that I was only talking about the dirt areas where the sod had clearly died. He said that he would definitely call me back with a time that he would stop by to look at it. It has been 2 weeks and no contact what so ever. No surprise there. I regret the day I even heard of this company. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

Another lie - their first quote and follow up more reasonable offer was given relatively late in the day - no way they could have started work that day and no mention of the more reasonable offer being based on them being " in the area". Only when I said I would accept their more reasonable offer - take it or leave were they willing to honor their more reasonable offer. No discussion of discounts at that time. Told them I needed to see in writing their documents for license/insured/ bonded and quote/ scope before starting work. they started work without presenting any of this. by the time I got home from work - they were wrapping up. 35% coupon came in the mail before they started work and after we agreed upon a price and scope - talking about a two day window here. The coupon is meant to get their foot in the door. from other reviews -looks like they routinely will not honor it. When I presented the coupon - they refused to honor it. Claimed it was "included" in the original quote - absolute lie. Some of the workers were drinking beer while working - high risk work and alcohol not a good mix. Get it in writing up front. happily no one got hurt.

They came the next day with a big crew with chain saws, walked the logs out to the curb rather than bring in big machinery. They did the work fast and safe. We hired Stallion Tree Professional of the CSRA in January 2020 to cut and remove 13 trees and…read moreprune selected limbs from other trees in the backyard. The crew arrived and cut and removed 12 trees and failed to prune any limbs. They also modified parts of the yard so they could use a tracked Bobcat to remove waste to the roadway. When they finished on day 2, they failed to repair and reset the altered changes to the property, left a large amount of waste on site and failed to disclose damage to a brick wall in the front of the house. After several phone call, the owner finally returned and promised a cleanup. After 6 weeks, the cleanup team arrived, removed most of the waste, attempted to reset the damages from the Bobcat and again failed to repair or report the damaged courtyard wall to their boss. I have called by phone to 2 different numbers. sent email and mailed a letter by USPS. Russ Marshal, the owner has refused to answer the phone or the emails and has ignored the letter in the mailing. A report of damage to private property has been filed with the Columbia Sheriffs office. Hire this company at your own risk. Never again for me.

Please don't use this business. It's been three weeks and they're very bad in communication.
