Who ever I spoke with was very rude, so i asked for his name. All he got out was something that sounded like BRR and started telling me that he doesn't have to give me a name and hung up. Well next time one of your trucks switches lanes without checking that it's clear first, the next person might not be so lucky. All I was hoping for was someone to tell me they would take note of the incident. Nothing more. Just some common courtesy. This Happened several months ago and was reminded by a large ding in my hood from a rock that hit my car after being cut off by their dump truck.

Steve is the type of contractor you dream of meeting- honest, insightful and knows the business and all the connecting companies to do anything in general contracting. They have done plenty of residential work over the years and some big ticket venues like remodeling the Jags locker room, or renovating the bathrooms at the Jacksonville Symphony. AND MORE! Steve handled my flooring and gave me so many recommendations for other projects- from electrical to plumbing to where to find the best countertops! I've come to rely on "Steve the floor guy" recommendations! So- my floors! They only use quality products- we went with a wood laminate ProGen - Cerused Oak POWDER, 20 mil. As Steve put it- you could drop a bowling ball on it and it won't be damaged. It's also waterproof! This brand is highly recommended among reputable flooring companies. We didn't touch the bathrooms (they are tiled) but ripped up all the carpet and the tile in the kitchen and the entryway. I love my floors! Steve also had his "best tile" guys redo my fireplace with a weathered brick I bought from Floor & Decor. During renovations before we moved in Steve and I would just stand and stare at the beautiful fireplace once it was finished! It reminded him of his childhood home~ lovely sentiments. We have been in the house since February and still call Steve for recommendations and for work! His tiling guy will be doing my kitchen backsplash soon! Steve said to me- we treat our employees well and then they do exceptional work and our customers spread the word about our business. The biggest issue was the bait and switch with Rafael. They sold us on a contract that laid everything out of what things would cost. But it didn't. We were installing under cabinet lighting. Do you think they would have considered if the electrical needed upgrading? No. $6,000 unexpected costs and it was too late at that point the old counter tops were ripped off and then they discovered it. They added $500 additional costs for undercabinet outlets even though they bid the job knowing we wanted that. They ALMOST tossed the garbage disposal even though we specifically said it works great and we want to keep it. If we were not watching them they would have tossed it. We said we wanted them to remove stupid pillars from our dining room and they bid the job including that. Then later said we would have to get tile and they would have to add on $ for that part to install tile. The project manager did not come earlier when we had time to have them start earlier and then blamed us for stalling the project? They ordered the wrong crown molding and then wanted to charge us for matching crown molding. They didn't tell us they would need to charge us for a port-a-jon at $600 - they assumed for months they could use our bathroom. Overall the end product was awesome. Looks amazing. But the contracting and contractors ordering the real people to do the work need to be much much better at bidding the job accurately and then working with the customer to address their issues without at $6500 upcharge on a less than $50,000 remodel.

Dissatisfied 80 Year Old Veteran The first of three…read morecontracts to fix a roof leak was 2-24-21. I spent $3,588.00 total. The first contract was to install new wood, shingles and reinstall a skylight. That work created an additional leak which was patched but didn't fix the original leak. The second contract was a new spark arrestor which didn't fix the leak. The third contract was chimney stucco repair and paint chimney but that didn't fix the leak. After the chimney repair I was told there was a small hole in the AC duct above where it's leaking. I paid an AC repairman $148.99 to tell me it had nothing to do with the leak. There were numerous return visits for water tests, roofing cement, etc. They were unreliable. There was a least a dozen missed appointments - no show, no text and no phone call. Text messages weren't answered. I was told to call when it was leaking so someone could identify the specific location of the leak but when I received a call back hours later I was told they can't "just" send someone out when I call contradicting what I was told to do. In the last text 11-3-25 I was told I had to replace the reinstalled skylight without another water test. I wasn't told in 2021 the skylight should be replaced when I signed the first contract. Replacing the skylight may be another guess like the chimney work, AC duct and spark arrestor. On 11-3-25 I asked for an estimate for a new skylight and installation then received text "OK" but never received an estimate. As of the date of this posting, 2-2-26, the roof is leaking in the same spot on the ceiling in 2021. I don't recommend Stonebridge for any roofing work, stucco painting or stucco repair. I felt disrespected for five years and don't recommend Stonebridge to senior citizens.

I wish that the situation had been different. In general, there have been numerous issues that are not part of the standard construction process. It is difficult to determine whether the HOA, A&E firm, or Stonebridge are the source of the problem, or if all three are involved. Regrettably, I received five unresponsive emails from StoneBridge, which is why the rating is low. Had I received feedback and the support that was promised, I would have rated it higher, as I am not entirely certain that all of the issues are solely due to Stonebridge.
