He told me here several times to seek financing elsewhere because I refused to put a property on my real estate schedule that I was not on the debt on. Finally, I figured since I had email of them telling me to do so I couldn't get in any trouble for it so I did. I then provided him with an operating agreement that clearly states that I am not on the loan in any form as a signed or anything else, which in a past email he clearly stated I just need to prove I was on the loan, and he continued telling me to seek a loan elsewhere. I'm a real estate professional and I've never experienced anything like this in my life. I highly recommend you steer clear. Update: after talking to others in the industry him and his assistant Debbie have quite the reputation. His "empire" will come crashing down based on the way they treat people.

We were in the process of looking at existing homes and even considering building a custom home. We were already pre-approved with a local lender, but just weren't happy with the options he was recommending to us. I went out to lending tree and submitted a request for proposals. Initially, our phone/emails were flooded with messages from probably 15 different lenders. However, First Ohio's response to me was very different and seemed so genuine. Calling them was the best decision we made throughout this process. Kemp Taylor was our mortgage banker and we were so impressed with his knowledge and responsiveness right from the start. Kemp gave us a variety of options that our prior lender never bothered to explore. He was so knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process.
