We had to go to the Savers donation center to drop off a lot of books, and I needed dog food. So we raced to aisle 4, grabbed a bag of Science Diet, and paid for it. Another very nice young man checked us out. I asked if they had tadpoles. They don't, but they have dwarf frogs! So I will be returning. I need frogs to eat the bugs that bite me. I have a tiny pond. It appears to be a large and well-stocked store. I didn't have time to take pix. Prices for dog food are basically the same as PetSmart or Petco. I'm sorry that we got there at closing time, but those young men were very gracious. As I really needed the dog food, I'm especially appreciative. They could have just said, "Nope, sorry, closed, tough noogies." But they didn't. Looking forward to returning for frogs and maybe fish!

Usually has most things in stock even hard to find items that you can't find in chain stores like Petco etc. , and one thing they have that doesn't exist in a chain store ---EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Anything you need they're extremely helpful and happy to find or get. I had my dog training classes here, and that's how I started coming to this location; but I have to tell you the customer service from the store is unrivaled. If there's something you need, just call and check on it. They're happy to check in stock, They also have a website you can order through that too, 99.9% of the time what you're looking for is a stocked item,and on the rare occasion that it is not or you have an item as I did a special cat food recommended by the vet they did not have on the shelf they called another location, had it there for me the next day! I also have a bad back and I cannot carry large bags of dog food for my dog....put my back out once they had the food delivered to my house free of charge which is a service they offer as well; if I go to the store, they are happy to bring it to my car for me if needed. In short, go here, I highly recommend it.

The entire staff is super friendly, and the doctors are fantastic. I also use the grooming services, and fortunately enough, my experiences have always been great. Ashley is excellent, and my puppy enjoys being groomed. The store itself is always stocked, and the associates are always friendly, providing great insight when needed. Unfortunately, not all Petco stores are designed with services and staff in mind. However, this location, in my opinion, should be used as the model. Regarding Vital care, I was never forced, and it does pay off to purchase. Would you please keep in mind that vital care should not be considered dog insurance. It compliments your insurance. Meaning it does not cover shots etc. It covers the examination fee of 60.00 and also provides discounts on grooming, and gives you 10.00 of credit each month towards Petco rewards. Please read before you purchase and don't assume. I highly recommend this location, and I'm only speaking based on my experience.

Brought my Dog in for a bath and nail trimming. Made a 10 o'clock appointment to drop him off with…read morethe groomer. After inspecting him for any issues, they took him into the back. Leave for 5 minutes and Petco calls me. Let me state we have been going for over 2 years with NO issues. The groomer says I have to return to get my dog they are not working on him because he growled. "It's not safe for groomers or the dog." I had to go back. Waited over 10 minutes to pick him up, nobody at the desk. I had to call the store for a manager so I could get the groomer to come out with My Dog. He was happy as can be. The groomer said they couldn't work on him and I should see a vet. I picked up my dog, touched his paws, back, butt with no reaction. Even had the groomer touch him. She said the last groomer that saw my dog was fired for being rough with the animals and maybe she was rough with my dog. No manager ever came over and the groomer said "sorry maybe comeback next week for a nail clipping to start over". NOT GOING to happen, having family over for thanksgiving and will have to do it myself. I'm so very disappointed. Petco traumatized my dog for grooming apparently and nobody told me about her being fired until today. And when my dog walked in, btw, he rolled onto his back, as he usually does, and she touched him all over while his tail wagged. Something seems odd here.
