When the installer came, they recognize that the piece of glass that they brought was not the same tent as what was existing. They came back the very next day with a identically tinted glass pane and installed it within an hour. I was very pleased with the expediency and the level of service. I'm saving this sub for future work.

Yelp sent my request to Roxy Glass, this review is only for their quoting process. Among all 4…read morecompanies, they were the slowest to respond, which took them overnight while all other 3 companies responded in less than 2 hours. And their response was to ask a bunch of questions such as your name, email, phone number, which for a moment I thought was a spam or phishing. Then another day later I got their email, asking dumb questions that I already stated in the project request. As a benchmark, by this time, I've already thoroughly communicated and discussed my options with all other three companies and obtained price quotes. Almost a day later, Roxy called me and left me a voice mail that they had a few questions. By this time I was totally fed up at their efficiency and process. Learn to do business on the Yelp message platform like all your competitors and respond quicker would be my advice.

I had a fantastic experience with Menlo Atherton Glass!…read more Heather, (the owner) answered my initial call and took the measurements for 3 pieces of glass, to protect the tops of 2 new bedroom side tables and a chest of drawers. She answered a few questions and was very efficient and knowledgeable. She said that my order probably would take a week. Sure enough, the 3 perfectly measured glass pieces were delivered to my house yesterday. Heather called today to make sure all went well, and to let me know she would charge my credit card. I was happily surprised with the efficiency of Menlo Atherton Glass and will use them again for sure!

I called Menlo Atherton Glass in an attempt to obtain a replacement ring, which I estimate costs significantly less the one dollar. Stephanie at that firm told me that she could not order the part for me, and that the only way I could secure a replacement would be to schedule a service call costing in excess of $100!! My queries as to the identity of the original part vendor required three call-backs to her, despite promises to follow up on her own. Very poor/unhelpful customer service!!! i was dealing with the firm's new location on Woodside Road. My past interactions with their Menlo Park location were all very favorable. Has the staff changed??

I'm updating my review because the owner, Bill, personally called me after reading it. We had a…read morelong and honest conversation, and I genuinely appreciate how he handled the situation. He listened patiently, acknowledged that the warranty language was unclear, apologized for the office's communication and billing process, issued me a full refund, and told me they will improve both the warranty language and their internal process. I truly appreciate his willingness to listen, take responsibility, and make things right. For context, my original concerns were these: After spending $64,000 on a window and door replacement project, two sliding doors became increasingly difficult to close after the 2023 installation. By 2026, they could no longer be closed and locked properly. I contacted Palo Alto Glass because I believed they had not been properly adjusted during installation. I was initially told the adjustment would cost $585 and that I needed to provide a credit card before the appointment. After I explained that I believed this was an installation issue rather than normal wear and tear, Palo Alto Glass agreed to have the technicians inspect the doors first. The technicians came on July 8, and the repair itself took only a few minutes by adjusting the lock plates. However, before performing the work, no one told me that Palo Alto Glass had concluded the issue was my responsibility or that the $585 charge would apply. I only learned that after the work had been completed, when I received the invoice the following day. I was also disappointed by the warranty language. The contract states that "all necessary materials and labor are covered under this warranty," but I was later told that the 10-year warranty only applies to insulated glass and that labor is covered for just one year. I believe that distinction should be stated much more clearly in the contract. To be fair, I was generally satisfied with the workmanship. The original installation was well done, and the technicians who performed the adjustment were professional and courteous. My frustration was entirely with the office's handling of the warranty, communication, scheduling, and billing process--not with the people doing the actual work. It's also worth noting that a 10-year warranty is well above the industry standard if it is honored properly and the scope of the coverage is communicated clearly upfront. That level of coverage can be a real advantage, but customers should not have to infer important limitations from the title of the warranty section. I still believe these issues could have been handled much better, but I also believe companies should be judged by how they respond when something goes wrong. Bill never became defensive. Instead, he listened carefully, acknowledged where the process had failed, and explained how they plan to improve both the warranty language and their internal communication. That conversation changed my impression of the company. Thank you, Bill, for taking the time to call me, for treating my feedback with respect, and for making things right. I sincerely hope the improvements you described will benefit future customers, and I wish Palo Alto Glass continued success.

I would give them six stars if I could. Recommended to me by a friend who recently had their windows replaced, I reached out to Able not sure about how their timelines would be. Eric, the owner, was extremely responsive, getting back to my initial request in under an hour. By the end of the same day, I had an appointment scheduled for one of their people to take a look and give us an estimate. At the time, we were in the middle of a kitchen remodel. Turns out our contractor wanted us to wait until after the project was completed to get the windows replaced due to permitting. No problem - Able quickly worked with us to get our appointment canceled and rescheduled once we were ready. When Leo came out, he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He answered a lot of questions on site, and Eric replied to all of our follow-up questions via email. They have a showroom locally that I was able to go to to check out the actual windows to help me decide on the model I wanted. Once I landed on the model, Able placed the window order. They came in pretty quickly in my opinion, I think about six weeks? Maybe a little bit quicker. As soon as the windows arrived, they reached out to schedule the installation. Since we were replacing a lot of windows, it was a multi day project. We were able to schedule for the following week. The crew came and knocked out the windows in two days. There was some extra work that needed to happen to install trim around the windows on the outside, and they came on a Saturday to finish that work. I was extremely impressed at how clean they kept the work area, barely any dust/debris left at all. I was expecting a lot more, but they were vacuuming the whole time and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The areas on the existing trim that we needed to do paint touchup on were also so much smaller than I expected. I could barely even tell that the windows were replaced from looking at the trim! The outside trim work that they did was very high-quality, and both my husband and I were impressed at the final look. It truly looks way better than it did before. Plus, the crew were so helpful in explaining all the trim options to us, showing us mock ups of what it might look like, and helping us choose the best option. Can't recommend Able Glass enough and would 10000% use them again! Thanks, Eric and Able Glass team!
