Came here as a walk in on the night before school started after Floyd's botched my kids hair and they were so welcoming and accommodating. They sat my kid within two minutes of arriving even though they were packed. They did a wonderful job fixing the mess Floyd's left on his head and charged a fraction of the price. I've gone here for years but when recently I asked if the barbers wear mask after noticing they or their customers aren't required to wear them, I was told mask are NOT a requirement. I really didn't want to leave a bad review, but honestly I'm scarred from this haircut. Everyone was nice, but I can't believe I was sent home with the haircut I have. I asked for my hair to be dyed brown and to get some bangs. The hairdresser dyed my hair very well, I absolutely love the color. But I asked for Selena gomez bangs and came out looking like a three year old got a hold of some scissors and chopped away. And it's another thing if I just got bad bangs and they grow back, but she seriously started chopping so far back that it just looks awful (I think she messed up and tried to cover it with doing more hair but t just kept getting worse and worse). What should have been an easy cut was not. I walked in to get a haircut before a WEDDING. Asked what I would like done and responded wanted him to take off 1 (one eighth of an inch of hair) all around for a shape up. He asked me 1 with the grain or without, and I said with. He starts on the top and looking at longer hair fall, I ask if he is cutting down to 1 or taking off 1. He says he is cutting down to 1. I said that is not what I asked for but it's fine. He then argues with me about what I said. I reiterate the entire conversation from the start while also repeating that it's fine since, I do get my hair cut down to a 1 sometimes. He continues to try and argue with me about what I said, and should have said, instead of just apologizing, and realizing that he wrong and messed up. Frustrating when I already said it was fine multiple times. This cut was not at all what I asked for. I should not have paid for this cut since it was not at all what I asked for. They also cut off all the work I paid for my hair earlier this week. If you go to this establishment, make sure you are abundantly clear on exactly what you want done since they are prone to messing up it seems. This was my first time going to this barbershop. I am very in particular when it comes to getting my haircut. I've been going to the same barber for the last two years. Unfortunately his barbershop was too far so I needed something a little bit closer to my house. My little brother got his haircut from this barbershop and I liked how it looked so I decided to give it a chance. When I got to the barbershop, I got my haircut with Efrain. He did an excellent job cutting my hair especially the fact That not only did he cut my hair but he also trimmed my beard. He does a great job because he is very detail oriented and he takes his time. It took him 45 minutes to cut my hair but it looked great. So if you want a nice haircut and you're willing to wait he's definitely a person to get a haircut from. read more

They are open on Sundays. They are open 7 days a week. We have been coming here for a couple years now. They all do a great job and you can walk in and be seen right away. Walked in with the mindset of finding a new permanent barber. Within 2 seconds of walking through the door i already knew i was going to hate the experience. Everyone was dressed sloppy. With the exceptional few who were clean cut. I walked inside and there were 4 open barbers. Not one turned and even acknowledged that i walked in. I paused looked around and just sat down. I waited for 10 minutes which all things considered isn't a long time.. however it is when the only reason i had to wait was for the huddled up group of employees to finish their conversation about basketball and Honda civics while they sat on their ass. I'm the only one waiting in the shop and they had the audacity to ask me, "hey man you getting a cut"? Nah bro I'm here for my pizza. YEAH I'm here for a cut!!! My barber did a horrible job, my hair is uneven and my goatee is on the very tip of my chin because he had to keep readjusting since he was not taking his time nor any pride in his work. I asked for a low skin fade. I left with a high and tight undercut pretty much. I will never return here, and will never recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY! Extremely unprofessional and lacking basic customer service to the T. Believe his chair is second or third down from the back door on the left. Go to great clips over this place. Seriously. I went into first impressions after many years of great service especially from chair number 10. It's been about a year or two since covid since my child has been to this Barber and I decided that today was a day to go back because of all those amazing experiences that we have had in the past. I was not acknowledged at the door. I gave eye contact in number six the other guys 13 and I think number four did smile at me number six and I started the first conversation and I told him that I was going to stay because tomorrow was school he suggested that I come back tomorrow to see my barber number 10. I advise him that it's okay my son would love to go back home but no there's school tomorrow and he needs a haircut. I waited about 20 minutes number six was completed first he was a Spanish guy he looks like he probably had like like bypass surgery that looks like he was losing weight he's Spanish has gray hair he's fair skin he's about five seven he had a black shirt today and he was a number six next to the exit next to her number seven by the exit door after 20 minutes of cutting the guy's hair and he took another 10 minutes he went to the bathroom came out wash his hands 15 more minutes passed by I noticed that he was sitting down he didn't communicate with me he sees us waiting. He doesn't ask any questions. So I asked him and I waiting for someone specifically he said no my son can go to anyone and I said well then we've been ready. So he said once I'm done with my text message I will assist him! I said oh okay no problem. 10 minutes 10 whole minutes later he gets up and goes outside a man pulls in in a burgundy pickup truck a black man posing in a burgundy pickup truck. They're talking about the truck outside go out there I'm out there for 5 minutes and then I walk inside 5 minutes after I walk inside, they both walk inside. Guys believe it or not he started to cut the man's hair what I've been waiting there for over 40 45 minutes with my son he completely ignored us and at that moment I lost it. Honestly I wanted to cry but I think instead that came out in anger. I felt completely dismissed ignored as a human being. Everybody watched as the guy walked in sat on the chair the guy even shushed me cuz I was yelling not really knowing what was going on he even told the guy take care of her son and the barber was like no you good stay there you're my clients! Had my brother been there the situation would not have gone this way because that man would not have a tongue to speak with. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman. I don't know if he's abusive to his wife and this is how he generally treats women. I don't know if this is how he treats children. But he made a huge mistake with me especially not knowing what I do for a living and then I have a radio platform. This man made a big mistake he gave first impressions the worst impression I've ever had in the 4 to 5 years my son has come to this barber shop. I tried to contact Noel the owner by calling the delands store and I was not successful cuz it closed. Devon to 13 and trying to resolve everything in for me probably to stop being upset offered to cut my son's hair however obviously tomorrow. He gave me his number he was trying to deescalate the situation as best as possible and unfortunately he stated he wasn't really paying attention so he wasn't able to see what it was that the guy told me or did. Because obviously he was with his customer. I completely understand is not here no there either way by coincidence I have everything on recording because I am documenting my everyday life for my podcast so it just happened to coincidentally be that I have the audio recording from the moment that I walked in there well before that moment but from the commence of walking in there to the very end. So that is a huge bonus for me of course. I will continue to call Noel I traveled 35 minutes to get to this location only to be disappointed and treated like garbage my son completely ignored and this is not something that I've ever experienced at this barbershop ever ever ever ever. But I promise you it will be the last and I will be discussing this on the airways because no one has a right to be treated like this let alone their children to be completely ignored and treated like garbage my son my king does not deserve that especially when all of our time we give to other people. I am FORCED to give this salon a single star, as you can't give ZERO stars. My teenage daughter first met on 5/25 Breaunie (Bree) & had correct her "Pink" hair back to blonde with natural looking dark roots and had a great experience, but within a few months (around 7/14) she decided on her own, to go to Sally Beauty and change her blonde hair to purple! My daughter felt VERY confident that Bree could help her - and Bree made her feel that it would all be okay as well. She came back to Bree on 7/31 to have the purple removed and Bree charged her $100 and made it an ashy/muck brown (that my daughter referred to as "black"). We did as Bree asked and went straight to Ulta & bought matrix biolage for color keep/care... but her hair turned greenish. After speaking with Bree, my daughter went BACK on 8/7 to have the GREEN/MUD color corrected & was charged ANOTHER $60. On 8/8 it already had a green hue and she texted Bree pics at Bree's request. Bree made her an appointment on 8/14 to return AGAIN to correct the color and in the MIDDLE of my daughter's hair service, Bree LEFT the salon and said that she had somewhere to be and she had called someone else in to help finish her hair.... This happened to be the owner-Tamara. Tamara and her husband seemed REALLY eager to make this situation correct and said they didn't know that this was her THIRD time AND THIRD charge for the same service. The owners assured my daughter that she would NOT be charged again and they refunded the money for the service on 8/7. Tamara again tried to remove the color and recolor and IT WAS STILL GREEN, however, by this time they'd done so many chemicals on her hair that they couldn't do any more for the day (her appt BEGAN at 2:30 and it was 7:30 PM before we left the salon STILL WITH GREEN HAIR. Tamara still insisted that she wanted to make it right and satisfy her customer, so she was to do a "demi-permanent" color on 8/28; however, Tamara didn't show up for the appt. She had my daughter waiting more than an hour... then called me to discuss her hair (and that she was ill). She had already pre-booked and appt on 9/11 for my daughter to see if a bailage service at no charge would fix it. As most businesses were closed or had no power on 9/11 due to the hurricane, My daughter called Tamara to see if she was still to come in... On 9/14, Tamara said their shops had no power and she would contact her to reschedule the correction. On Monday, 9/25 both my daughter and myself sent texts to Tamara regarding when she could get back in for the CORRECTION she paid for WAY BACK in July. We received no reply to our texts, and from driving by, I could see that the salon was now back open. While I tried to give every opportunity to the owners of this shop to correct the hair damage and DIS-SERVICE that we experienced at their shop, they clearly were not genuine in correcting the problem. Ultimately, I took her to another salon IN SANFORD, and paid ANOTHER $175 to get her hair color corrected so it was NO LONGER GREEN! WORST SERVICE EVER.... SUPER DISSAPPOINTING, and NO FOLLOW-UP. If you don't have confidence that you cannot fix a problem; 1) don't attempt to - 2) if you make it WORSE, don't keep charging - 3) if you make an appointment - KEEP IT - 4) if you, as an owner PROMISE to correct the promise... DO IT... don't simply ignore it. read more

The day before valentines day and the barbershop is pack, both of my children and my husband needed haircuts, there were approximately 6 to 7 families before me and all 10 barbers that were working did an excellent job, I was in and out of the barbershop within 30 minutes with my family looking stunning.
