A valid driver's license or other government-issued ID is sufficient for a withdrawal, and for larger amounts, an additional form of identification may be required. The teller who initially assisted me was actually kind and professional. Unfortunately, the other two tellers were rude, dismissive, and kept staring at me as though withdrawing my own money was somehow an issue. When my teller asked for assistance, one of the other tellers insisted that they could not complete the transaction without a debit card. It felt like they simply didn't want to help. I left, went to another Chase branch, and my withdrawal was completed without any problems. The lack of knowledge, poor customer service, and unprofessional attitudes at this branch were extremely disappointing.

I have been with DCFCU for over two years now and I am pleased and impressed with the services they provide for members. Whenever I've had a question I have called or stopped in and all my questions were answered. When I did have an issue, it was resolved immediately and steps were taken to ensure it would not happen again. If you're looking for a financial institution with people that care about their members I would recommend DCFCU.

There's enough branches in the area that I can actually talk to a human if need be, and since it's part of the credit union co-op I'm never short on options for ATMs. I opened a checking and savings account. There's no minimum for checking, just $5 to open. You need a $200 minimum balance in savings but they give you a month to get to that level if you need, which I think is a nice thing since people might not bring that much cash with them the first day. I showed up early for my appointment and was seen immediately. Sara was kind and made light conversation while informing me about the other services offered and what to expect with my accounts. I will update if the app causes issues, but otherwise I'm very excited and happy with my banking choice.

Hands down the absolute WORST bank I've ever dealt with. Over the years, they have screwed up my mortgage (quoted me an interest rate when we refinanced and then when we showed up for closing, it was full interest rate higher) and I walked out and called the President or whatever he was of Fifth Third and he fixed it. Had excellent credit so could have gone anywhere. Then they gave us a home equity line of credit ON A HOUSE WE DIDN'T EVEN OWN ANYMORE. Our prior house! Now.....they have screwed up my IRA. When I rolled it over into their bank after I retired, I only did so because the VP at the time was very sharp and knew what she was doing. I have NO checking or SAVINGS there for a reason. Now, all they have are a bunch of flunkies who have NO IDEA what they are doing. Like every other business, the CEO's are making the big money and they are hiring minimum wage people. I set up my IRA with them when I retired in 2015, and figured I'd better check to make sure my beneficiary form is right because my copy is not signed or dated. Well, they HAD NO RECORD OF THIS FORM WHATSOEVER. I went today....they checked...NOPE DIDN'T HAVE IT. The guy who I talked to today argued with me whether Michigan is a community property state! NEWSFLASH! IT'S NOT. I can make anyone I want my beneficiary. He asked what my marital status is....which DOESN'T EVEN MATTER IN MICHIGAN. I had to fill out a NEW BENEFICIARY FORM, he said the one I had was outdated. I made the guy Google whether Michigan is a community property state before I left! He didn't even know this. Don't you think a bank should know? I asked him if I would get something in the mail reminding me when I have to take mandatory distributions. He said no. Today, I was told by the "manager" yes, I would. I cannot explain just how incompetent this bank is and if it were easy to do, I'd roll my IRA into my credit union but seems like they want me to talk to a "finance manager" first. When I am smarter than a bank manager, it's time for me to go elsewhere. RUN....don't walk from this bank.

In the lobby when you walk in you are bombarded by "helpful" bankers that expect you to announce your business details in the lobby in front of everyone, under the guise of being helpful. But god forbid they should put on more than one teller, who also expects you to announce security details in a loud voice instead of being discreet. This bank practices some of the loosest security measures imaginable.

Unfortunately, the corporate employee did not mention I would need to make an appointment to do so. I just had a baby and it was a struggle to find childcare so that I could get this done. Despite the bank being very busy and me not having an appointment, the branch manager took time to help me and was so pleasant doing so. She was kind, knowledgeable and had me in and out in no time.
