They sold me fake Jewelry, claiming it to be sterling silver on 5/22/2026 for $221.96. Once I inspected it further it was titanium. I went back today 5/23/2026. They said they can't do anything until their manager show up. Once I got a hold of their Manager he said he won't be able to do anything till Tuesday and even then he said they've never done a return in the 3 years he's worked there. So then I said, well if that's the case would I just have to possibly do small claims? He then went off and told me they will never return my calls and that they are putting me on their wall of shame. The receipts even say and stickers say sterling on them. The value of this store has went down by a lot due to the terrible treatment that myself and many others have been given. This is definitely the best pawn shop in Fargo, Moorhead. Actually the best pawn shop I've ever een too. The people are amazingly friendly, exceptionally really good with there customers. They treat me like family. But they also have amazingly low prices on everything and they will work with you. Thank you to all the staff. You guys are amazing. read more

I have many things I could say about this awful place so lets start here. First things first we brought in a REAL GOLD CHAIN to pawn, the manager proceeded to tell me it was fake. I went down the street to another location and pawned it there with no issues. On another occasion, my son went in to pawn a tuner, the manager, once again, told him they don't take "scanners". It was not a scanner... I've had no issues with the employees just the manager herself, she is extremely rude and I've never felt welcomed at all at this pawn shop. If I start to mention their prices I'll have a heart attack so let's not go there. read more

When I came in to loan movies over. They only took half of what I had because of small scratches. Though I have bought both games and movies there recently that had more scratches on them. They have become as bad as used a bit. read more

Do not even get a loan. They rip you off by not telling you everything. If you get a loan in the middle of the month, they automatically charge you interest the first day of the new month and not the day you get the loan. What a rip off. Lost $150 due to this place. read more

I never write reviews, but the manager handled the entire situation so poorly that I feel an obligation to warn others. I purchased an item described as NEW with nothing missing except for possible damage to the packaging. The item arrived with missing parts. I emailed the store the next day but nobody replied back. The following early morning I called the store and left a message with an employee who explained that the person who handles online sales would call me as soon as they got in. Again I didn't hear back from anyone. Just before 5 PM I called the store again and managed to get a hold of the person who I understood handled these matters - his name was Josh. He explained he was aware of the situation, didn't offer any apology and suggested I return the item. Since the item was quite large and heavy, it would cost anywhere from $30-$40 to return it. I didn't think it was fair that I be out the shipping cost considering I did nothing wrong in the transaction process. Josh gave me some sad story about how corporate wouldn't allow him to issue a shipping label or tack on the shipping cost to the purchase price or to cover the cost of the missing parts by refunding a portion back to the purchase method or to offer any other alternative solution. At no point in time during our conversation did I raise my voice or become ill mannered, but Josh noticeably became more and more agitated throughout the conversation. All in all, it became quite clear that he simply wasn't going to help with any part of the issue and not in so many words told me to suck up the shipping costs. This was my first experience making a purchase from this shop, and most likely my last. In my experience of making purchases online (and I shop often), I have never encountered a seller who wasn't willing to work to find an amicable solution to a situation which was admittedly the fault of the seller to begin with. After this entire experience I was left with a very bad taste. Telling the customer to dish out cash as a result of a mistake made by the seller should never be the only option the seller presents. read more

I've bought from them many times in the past. They're not perfect, few stores are, but they often are willing to work with you and if you are a repeat customer can often cut you a small deal. Most of the complaints I'm reading here are from customers who apparently don't understand how the services work. Can't blame the store for your ignorance in the process or changing standards. read more

Tried to pawn a chop saw and docked me a lot due to the fact the saw didn't have a "brake" for the blade. No chop saw does.

On 3 previous occasions, I have used FIRST NATIONAL PAWN for doing FFL transfers on guns that I have purchased online. Currently, I am waiting on my 4th and would not consider using any other FFL dealer in town. The process and paperwork is as quick and easy as making a purchase from any local gun dealer. Another convenience I have found is that their FFL license information is already on file with most of the major online firearms dealers. In my opinion, they are top notch, and their prices are the most reasonable I have found in my area for this service. read more
