We went on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm and were told that she needed to make an appointment with a banker. The first appointment available was for the following week on a Friday at 4:30pm. We arrived early for the Friday appointment only to be told (in a very rude manner) by a gentleman that the person who was to help us had called out of work. I asked why they didn't call us to reschedule, and the guy dismissed my question and walked away to assist someone else. We stood there in disbelief when a very kind gentleman named Daniel came out and said he would help us. He helped give my mother-in-law helpful information and assisted in all her needs.

I deposited a check on September 11th, but the bank held my funds until September 22nd. Holding a check for nearly two full weeks is completely unreasonable, but what made this experience truly painful was the underlying feeling of racial discrimination in how I was treated throughout the process. I had just returned from paternity leave and urgently needed access to my own money to care for my child. Leaving a father with a newborn without access to his funds for 11 days caused immense, unnecessary distress and hardship. Bank of America showed zero empathy, zero willingness to help, and complete disregard for customer welfare. If you want a bank that treats you with basic human dignity, fairness, and respect, look elsewhere. I would rate this zero stars if I could.

It is close to work so sometimes it is more convenient for me to come here though.Each time I dread it. It never fails that there is always a long line, and it moves very slowly. The branch by my house in Natomas also has long lines however they move quickly. This branch seems as soon as one color finishes.They stop for a short break....or leave.
