On our latest Disneyland trip in June, one of the evenings we stopped by Star Trader before the store closed! This store originally opened up in 1967 and has changed during the years! When the debut of Star Tours opened, it was then transformed into Star Trader! Inside the store, you'll see a large X-Wing Starfighter hanging from the ceiling! Disneyland used to have the PeopleMover operating, but now the windows have been replaced with other projections. The store is open from 8:00 A.M to 12:00 A.M during the summer hours. There is so much merchandise in this store! You'll find limited edition collectibles, apparel and so much more! There is an assortment of Star wars merchandise, and Disneyland memorabilia. My daughter and I ended up picking up a 70th anniversary snow globe and shirts from here! There is also a unique experience at Start Trader. You can assemble a personalized lightsaber with different components and even adjustable sound effects! After riding Star Tours, you'll be dropped off into The Star Trader. This is one of the best shops in Disneyland and it's right next to Space Mountain too!

The newest phenomenon that technology makes possible is the creation of a Galactic ID with your photo in minutes. A great souvenir for $15 each. There are 2 kiosks and the line moves quickly. Quality of the Galactic ID is awesome. Line up to the left of the main entrance.

A lot of what is sold here is original works too if you're interested in that kind of thing. You can also ask them to hold onto bigger items here to pick up later (had a friend do that for a particularly large snow globe), so keep that in mind. It's located as you walk down Hollywood Land and you can't miss it since the sign has all of the classic animated characters literally coming off of the page. You can watch artist doe their live sketching here as well. Friend also really liked that you can get Precious Moments Disney figures here (when we visited) and of course, the Thomas Kincade Disney artwork. Many of the prints come in various sizes as well and it's neat to rifle through the metal sliding curtain thing to view them. Magic Key discounts work here the last time I visited and the price is normal for most things Disney. Unique place to get a truly unique keepsake for yourself or gift for a fellow Disney loving adult.

Selection: This is a great Disney art store with various drawings, paintings, statuettes, busts, etc. aka art of Disney. Also there are Lorcana cards for sale here too. Value: Who can put a price on art? If you answered "Disney" then you win the prize. The art is as reasonably priced as well as you love the art. And the Lorcana cards sell at top regular retail prices for a blind pack.

I didn't notice them here when I visited in 2024, so this was kind of a nice surprise. They now carry the Starbucks x Disney collab mugs, which makes it way easier if you don't want to search all over the parks. Quick heads-up though: the Starbucks locations in Downtown Disney only have the regular California "Been There" mugs. They don't carry the Disney collab versions.

I did happen to get this one of my fiancé's sister trading Pins with their Pin Board! Pin Boards are such a new thing to me, we seemed to get the info all in one night we spent at Downtown Disney! Hee. As for the items within this houseware style store, they were as expected- "it's the happiest place on Earth......" but honestly it's one of the MOST expensive places on Earth as well. The Creature Stall is located in the Black Spire Outpost Marketplace in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. It offers one of the most fun and immersive merchandise experiences in the Star Wars Galaxy's Edge area. This is a place where travelers can find strange critters and creatures from across the galaxy! Many of these creatures you can adopt and take home from your visit to Batuu. Inside the Creature Stall, you'll see a variety of plush and interactice creature figures from the Star Wars Universe. You'll see Porgs, Loth Cats, Kowakian Monkey Lizards, as well as Puffer PIgs, Miniature Tauntauns, and Banthas. The décor and layout of the store is pretty cool. It feels like you're in a genuine galactic bazaar with animatronic displays including a sleeping Loth Cat. I enjoyed visiting the Creature Stall. There is so much to do in the Marketplace!

They have many kinds of blind boxes and some items from Japan and Hawaii. The blind boxes prices are reasonable. When I asked something to the cast member, they answered friendly.

They seem to stock frequently and it's exciting to see boxes being available. I got overzealous and didn't read the sign about "2 Boxes Per Customer". Oh well. And they are priced reasonably well. There were many Cast Members ready to assist you. They were very friendly and helpful. I made the mistake of going over the allowed limit. But, she was very nice about it. My daughter was able to get Wicket that she wanted. Actually she got two Wickets and so we are both twining Wicket on our bags. Great place to shop. Definitely a return visit call!!!

This store is dangerous. It is packed floor to ceiling with some of the most delicious sweets in…read morethe entire park. From prepackaged to made on site treats there is something for everyone. And if you bring your kids here, unless you're way most strong willed than me, you are guaranteed to walk out with at least one sweet food item. Prices for some of the made on site items are a bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for that piece of Disney magic and for an item that screams 'take a picture of me & post it on social media.' Not to mention one bite and you won't feel so guilty for spending the money on it. I would particularly recommend the churro toffee square. My sister-in-law introduced it to me and now I have to get a few of them every trip. One for the visit and one for another day....or later in the day. Let's be honest. So yes. While I would definitely understand why someone would want to actively avoid walking in to this sweet spot (pun intended), I still recommend it to everyone. While you can find a lot of these treats in other spots around the park, this is a great place to find them all together and in an area with shorter lines & smaller crowds that some of the stores in heavier traffic areas.

Go through Ronto Roasters, towards the market and Jewels of Bith will be your first left hand side shop. You won't find too many jewels for sale in this shop. It has an assortment of smaller items including mugs, shirts, pins, etc., and it's a bit like a general merchandise store. Prices for most items are relatively low when comparing to the rest of the park. Many items are usually sold for less than $25, making it a good place to get a smaller souvenir item. This shop also has a nice themed area. The shop has a colorful jewel display on the back wall. Hanging lamps from the ceiling really help give the feeling that you're walking into an off world marketplace. Even if you don't plan on buying anything, it's worth stopping by just to check out some of the details of the shop. Be aware that the shop is very small and can get a bit crowded depending on the day at Disneyland. A couple of people trying to browse the front of the shop can easily block access to the back of the shop, but don't worry though! Since the time spent in this shop is relatively smaller compared to the other shops in Galaxy's Edge, there will probably be a clear path to walk through the shop within a few minutes! It's a great store to stop by while visiting Star Wars Galaxy's Edge!
