Nice looking building. Service was great. The wings were good but I didn't like the special Black Garlic sauce...that was on the wings. The fries and the spicy aioli dip was very good. The pasta was very good, tasty and succulent. I couldn't stop eating it. The kids fried chicken cuts were not that good, no seasoning. The kids cheese burger was good.

We've been coming here for three years now and it's still a great place for dinner and beer. I've even ordered takeout and it was delicious. Some would say it's pricey but the quality is above what you would find nearby. Service is always great and if you are a sports fan, you have the ability to watch a game and enjoy dinner. I don't have pictures of last nights dinner, but the Blue Hen and the Korean Chicken sandwich were both great! Crispy and seasoned nicely.

One of several local micro-brews in the area. Can be very busy during weekend nights. Cozy and light atmosphere, with a bar and several screens to watch games. Staff was friendly and helpful. The menu features a good variety, mostly handheld items. Portions were large, and the dishes were flavorful. Pricing seems fair when compared to other pubs. So if you happen to be in the area, stop by and give it a try.

We reallllly wanted to like it here. This is a pretty large brewery and they have a cool interior set up and an impressive amount of tvs. I'd say that's the best part. Food: my overall impression with the food was overpriced BREWERY food. This isn't a restaurant. This is a brewery and $18 for nachos without a protein is offensive. They have some basic choices for sandwiches and apps. Nothing to come back for. Drinks: I had a sour flight and many others tried various beers. Three from my group had a cocktail. Similar impression to the food, over hyped compared to the competition in middletown and north/south of here. Pretty let down, probably would look else where next time :/

Tried this place off DoorDash last week I could taste the potential , so today i did a phone order & I drove over and picked my own food up ! It was so good , I will return & I recommend

Unique spot right in Middletown, although it gave me more "restaurant" vibes than "brewery" vibes. They had a large selection of beers for all different types of beer drinkers from lighter lagers to a hearty 15% stout! Their food menu was impressive for a brewery, serving options many, many steps above bar food. The food was a little pricey, but overall, it was a decent sized portion, hot and yummy!

Tried the New Zealand Pilsner at the DC Beer Festival 4/12/2025, it was extraordinary. Big bonus, they are Phillies fans.

Perfect spot to let the kids run while the food is being prepared. Originally seated outside, our party opted to be re-seated in a shadier spot, under cover. Too much direct sun. A DJ conducted a version of musical Bingo with Crooked Hammock gift cards as prizes. It was very entertaining, especially since one of our table won a round! Our waitress, Kaitlyn, was great. She gave plenty of time to take the order and once delivered, Kaitlyn came back frequently to check in and provide drink refills.

I came at around 5 PM, and it was beautiful outside, but a little hot in the sun. The hostess was willing to see me in a table around the corner, where there was a nice breeze. We had a great server, who was very attentive to our needs. People enjoyed the various food offerings, including the pasta, which had a kick to it. I ordered the chicken thighs, which is a rare treat to find on a menu. My only disappointment was that they were a bit overcooked and dried out. Perhaps it was the time of day, but who knows. Other than that, I would come back and try another dish someday.

On one hand I want to try again for dinner but for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. Pros: Amazing service - very attentive server(s); we had one in training/shadowing and she was just as good as our primary server, offering refills, clearing plates, overall greet banter Cocktails are fantastic - had the Minnie Ripperton and loved it - creamy yet refreshing and bright which is a tough combo to achieve Cons: Hidden entrance - after circling what looked like an abandoned building 2x we finally figured out the entrance was in the backy and down a set of stairs. I now understand the "speakeasy vibe" but the clutter in the front made the building look abandoned or under construction; not a great start to the experience for us Food service - the other couple we were dining with got their entrees about 10 minutes before ours and we were some of the first orders & diners of the day. Usually you might hold the whole table or refire some of the dishes so it all comes out at the same time. They finished theirs before we even got our to start, making it a strange eating experience Small print menu - with the low light of the speakeasy, the menu had the teeeeniest print I've ever seen making it very difficult to read the menu options. We also didn't realize that the menu changes/is seasonal (not called out on the website) so many of the items we had wanted to try were not an available option. I love a menu that changes but hope it's indicated on the website (aka: sample menu, subject to seasonal change) Hit-n-miss: Fried chicken Benedict- huge portions, amazing biscuits and perfectly poached (but unseasoned?) eggs. I don't know if the hollandaise soaked into the fried chicken or never existed at all - and that's the thing you want with a Benedict. If it existed, it never reached the biscuits because while they were good, but were completely dry Shrimp and grits - perfectly cooked, great consistency, but very under-seasoned Water - just an observation and maybe it's just the local tap water flavor but it tasted off or as off the soap hadn't been washed from the glasses Pro Tip: be aware of the automatic gratuity in some circumstances; if you don't know, check the website before your meal!
