My diagnosis requires surgery so it was a pretty big deal and I'm just upset that no one called to tell me or help me.

Forget refill requests from providers. They're never processed on time and I ALWAYS have to be the go-between and call the practice to have them reply to the request. I'm told these things are handled by the same person. Not department, person!! And this incompetency has continued for many YEARS. This is unacceptable. Chose this location 5 miles beyond the closest one to my home because of good parking and ease of getting upstairs to PT. Being only about 90 steps from the car to PT Is worth it's weight in gold. I checked out closer Rothman PTs to my house but all of them were just a pain to get in and out of, particularly the one at Riddle Hospital. So i chose Glen Mills for convenience. The actual PT area is bright, clean and nicely organized. The PT tables are big enough for tall people and are very comfortable. The equipment is in good order. Elleni at the Front desk is a total gem. She can answer the phone while scheduling your appointments and not miss a beat. My first time here she scheduled my 8 weeks of appointments and printed out a copy of it for me with speed and accuracy. Casey Has been my PT technician and in my lifetime she has been the absolute best. Being of a certain age I've had PT a few times so I consider my assessment of her to be accurate. She is informative, caring, very capable with great PT and interpersonal skills. Rothman is lucky to have her. I highly recommend this location for physical therapy.

When I inquired why the first visit was a higher cost. I was told there was an $80 first customer visit fee. This is something I should've been made aware of on my first visit. If I was made aware of this, I could've easily gone to my primary physician and and could have avoided this cost. It is an unethical practice to not make a patient aware of this additional charge for a first time patient fee. It also makes no sense because I had to fill out the same amount of paperwork on both visits. Go to your primary physician if you can avoid using this company. I don't recommend them.

While I think being kind and well mannered is a huge plus, it is not the only thing required in service, especially when it comes to medical care. I don't want my review to be taken as if these people we rude or bad people in anyway at all. I just feel as though patients shouldn't leave the room feeling that any questions were left unanswered, let alone none at all.
