But this prescription cannot be filled by my regular Walgreens pharmacy. I had to have it sent to this specialty Walgreens after getting approval from my regular insurance. They are kind, patient, and will go out of their way to help you before you even ask. They are open and honest about when they will be able to fill your prescription, and anything that is preventing it from being filled. It's so nice to know that when I go to pick up my meds, I don't have to be anxious about someone being rude to me. I don't know her name, but there's one pharmacist who's newer with short red hair who is just the sweetest, she is so kind and always remembers me. Dan is always helpful, cheerful and gets my meds to me on time. He's also always available to answer my questions and solve any concerns with insurance. There are also very reasonably priced over-the-counter supplies available at great prices.

After a disagreement he started yelling in a language I didn't understand but after giving me the middle finger 4 times in front of his staff and customers I said, "Oh I get what your saying now try it in English." Long story short he has been filling controlled substances to my wife for years to me. He is required for every controlled substances to ask for ID. Never once do he ask me and for all he knows I could have been selling them in the streets. We get in an argument about the price of the drugs and he refuses to fill the script. After having him cuss me out and giving me the middle finger 4 times I leave. I go to Walgreens with the script and they not only asked for ID but called my wife's doctor and my wife. I didn't mind, I was treated with respect. The script was filled and the next thing I get home and my wife is in tears because this jerk threatened to call the Dea on her!!! She had a valid script and he is the one the Dea needs to talk to. You can't fill a controlled substance script without proper authentication and he is the one the Dea needs to look into. I filed a complaint with the bbb and his stores website. My review disappeared within hours. Beware of this guy. Could be part of something nefarious?

And I found it. While at my Dr,'s office this morning, I gave them the phone number and info about Scott's RX and immediately, I got a text that my prescription was ready. They are located in that little strip center where the great vacuum place is on N. Hercules. The person I spoke with when I picked up my medication was efficient, personable and happy to help me. The prices are the same as that store where I was shopping but now I have efficiency and honesty. I also saw some of the supplements I like on their shelves, and I knew I had made the correct decision to change pharmacies. I'm so relieved. A local Clearwater business and not a huge chain!

Forced to pay an additional $150 for the contact exam+$35 for the digital imaging after my insurance paid $150 for the "comprehensive" exam. Definitely not comprehensive- (Comprehensive is defined in the dictionary as "complete; including all or nearly all elements or aspects of something"). When confronted with this I was told, "Well, you're welcome to go anywhere else". Didn't seem to care. FYI-Americas best only charges $99 for a complete exam including the contact lens exam and fitting. I remember now why I stopped going here the last time. Annoyed and not wanting to waste my time going to have the same exam done again, I paid the fee. Other than the company policy and misleading pricing the staff was otherwise pleasant to me and the Dr (a fill in) was really good. The online form is very annoying and it would take less time to fill it out in person, inconvenient at best. If you go here, I prepare to be very annoyed and frustrated when leaving.
