So I had a dent about the size of a quarter that I've been ignoring on my truck. After seeing his posts on Facebook I messaged Campbell paintless dent repair and made an appointment for today to go in at noon. Fully expecting I was going to get a estimate and then have to make an appointment to get it repaired he looked at it from about 20 ft away and said oh I see it already. After a quick inspection he told me what he was going to do and hold the truck into the shop and even let me loiter over him and watch him do it. Amidst some very expensive tools everything was protected he actually went through the window between the window and the sheet metal at the belt molding. If I hadn't been there jabbering with him it probably would have been a 10 minute job. While he was inside of my door he noticed one other very small dent that he said I'm going to take that one out for you too or do you like it or not! So within a period of about 30 minutes from the time I got there till the time I left my door looks absolutely perfect now. He explained the entire process which he didn't have to do and then did a quick compound and buff to remove any tool marks although I didn't see any. Well one could say the name is misleading collision he does so much more than collision. He also is a mechanical shop. In the past year since he's been open my daughter has wrecked her Jeep where she rear-ended somebody and did about $14,000 in damage. John and Dan worked with my insurance company and it was fixed in short order. Something else he's also done for me was mechanical. While I'm pretty mechanically inclined and I'm certainly able to perform many automotive tasks on my own I simply have run out of time and John makes it affordable and worthwhile to take my car to him. He has replaced the brakes on my truck and the brakes on my wife's Audi. Something that's of note is that every time I've been in there he always has a customer that brings in the project car that is a challenge. I've seen him replace entire drive lines in collector cars, repair prior work on a previously repaired salvage car that was questionable and make it so it's safe. He has installed an outfitted equipment into a former airport bus so it's a mobile gym, repainted 70-year-old cars... He runs a pretty interesting business. I made him multiple referrals from friends who have taken their gas tanks from an old ATV in to get fixed, work on a alignment for a race car, even install some aftermarket accessories. Did you buy some tires from tirerack.com and or Walmart and want to get them mount and balanced? Yep he can do that. He has two lifts and a state-of-the-art alignment rack and also a frame machine. Anytime you go there you're bound to see something interesting in addition to getting a great value on getting your car fixed whatever the problem is.

Amber asked me about the damage my car sustained, then proceeded to ignore that information as she snapped photos, leaving several damaged items off of her estimate, and actually specifying the wrong grille for my car (a difference of over $600 for that part alone) even though we discussed issues with my adaptive cruise control (the estimate CLEARLY marks the grille she spec'd as "NOT FOR VEHICLES WITH ADAPTIVE CRUISE..."). Then, three days later, she calls me to ask if I'd like an estimate done on my car, completely forgetting that she had just seen me a few days prior. She also never e-mailed me a copy of the estimate despite a promise to do so. As a result I now have to go through the process of getting ANOTHER estimate from ANOTHER shop and waiting for ANOTHER payment from the insurance company. I was considering having my car repaired here, but if they can't get the details right during the estimate, I don't trust them to fix the car properly. Sorry to pull you away from TikTok to do my estimate, Amber. I hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

Turns out you have to make sure the tailgate is down before you pull away :(- Anyway after calling a few places we were referred to call Gerber we were spending one week in Mentor with family. Jeff was the person who helped us and he was fantastic! Jeff Knew exactly what we needed he pre-ordered the parts and we got it completely finished and ready for our trip to continue one week later. They also kept us posted the whole time we were never left wondering if this was really going to happen or not. And someone always answered the phone and happy to help us. I had taken my new vehicle to Accurate Auto Body & Frame for Krown undercoating on 10/28/2016…read more Everything seemingly went well with the process. I was told that the vehicle would drip for about a week and any excess on the vehicle would wash off with soap and water. The following day, I was wiping my vehicle clean and noticed on the front bumper and fender that there were 4 spots that had been touched up with a plain white paint. The vehicle is a tri-coat pearl white so the touch ups really stood out. I immediately called Accurate but the shop was closed as this was a Saturday after 3:00 pm. I called early Monday afternoon, spoke with Lou, the owner, and explained what had happened. He invited me to come to the shop so he could take a look at it. Lou immediately called me back 5 minutes later and denied that his employees were responsible. The following day, I drove my vehicle to his shop so he could see the damage and the attempt to conceal it with touch up paint. Lou vehemently denied that this could have happened at his shop and suggested that this damage was there when I purchased the car. I told him that I inspected the vehicle thouroughly when I took delivery and the damage was not there at that time. I also had pictures when I purchased the car and showed them to Lou. He went on to say that the two employees that performed the work were his son and his sons friend from high school. His son pointed out another spot on the driver side door edge that had been touched up and asked me if I had seen it. My reply was, "No, because it wasn't there when I dropped the car off for undercoating." Prior to the job, I had that door open to ask the technician if he could use the factory holes to spray the undercoating rather than drilling new holes. I would have noticed the damage at that time. It's also important to note that the damage to the door edge is right next to the hole that was drilled for access. Coincidence? Not in my opinion.
