I had the opportunity to try this spot and there was about a 15-20min wait. Afterwards, we were seated and immediately the waitress asked what we would like to drink. Since First Watch was right in the same plaza where our run club was meeting for our morning 5K, it was an easy choice for our group to hit 'em up and quickly added ourselves to the waitlist before the rush rolled in around 10:30. Once seated, our server remained attentive and made sure our water and coffee cups stayed full. I've mentioned this before that First Watch has some of the BEST black coffee around. I didn't want a meal to myself, so my friend and I happily split the Million Dollar Breakfast Sandwich. It was a perfect marriage of pork sausage patty savory and Mike's hot honey drizzled million dollar bacon sweet with egg, smoked gouda and arugula made it an ideal post-run meal alongside their potatoes. I have to admit I would have leaned on 3.5 stars because of one unnecessary hiccup at the beginning. Two of our friends were literally right in their car quickly throwing on t shirts over their run attire, and despite us pointing out that they were just steps from the door the manager remained very firm about refusing to seat us until they physically entered the building. I try to understand policies, but considering they were clearly right there and walking in momentarily, it felt unnecessarily rigid. Last time, I went for the tomato soup but it was too thick to my liking. The roast beef sandwich was decent, though! My kid couldn't finish his roast beef and havarti sandwich, but wanted pancake instead. That fluffy item appeared in pretty shorter time than expected and the kid finished that without stress. The sun dried/roasted tomatoes kept dripping out of the sandwich -- I took a bite of one of them, no shame lol. My sis and mom shared a plated of potatoes and some kind of egg omelet. This is my mom and sister's fave location. The parking lot is kind of confusing, but you can park with ease. It's also next to the Starbucks and in the shopping plaza shared with Publix and TJ Maxx. So, the food was fabulous. I had the BLT Eggs Benedict and the wife had the breakfast tacos. Both were amazing. The eggs bene were very delicately poached, with lovely runny yolks. The bacon was perfectly crisp, without being the slightest bit over-cooked. I chose the fruit option, which went with it perfectly, providing a nice fresh palate cleanser. The tacos shells were nice and crisp and the filling was perfectly portioned. She asked for and received some of the house-made sour cream, which was delightful. We finished off with about half the order of cheesecake donut holes (we asked but could not confirm that, like the eggs, they are free range and ethically sourced). The ambiance was very pleasant and everyone was really nice. Our server, G, was and absolute delight and one of the very best I've had in recent memory. They added Tres Leche French Toast to their Summer Menu, and when I tell the it was the most satisfying plate of French toast I have EVER had.
