I went here the other day for lunch. My server was Sezi (sp?) and she was super attentive. The food was delicious and came rather quickly. I had the lunch combo with half veggie sandwich on GF bread and the honey pecan chicken salad. The restaurant has only been open about a month. It has a sleek, modern feel. I will definitely be back!

Came here for brunch. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. Husband ordered the breakfast sandwich which came with eggs, meat, arugula on a brioche he enjoyed. Other families ordered pancakes, waffles, and omelettes which they enjoyed. I got the carrot cake pancakes, cheese was good, but the carrots were undercooked and raw. They should at least steam and or purée some carrots in the batter so it taste cooked. Otherwise it taste like raw carrots. I did not enjoy service was good ambience is very casual. Prices are very reasonable.

I have been going for the past year, and they are consistent every time. Recently we went as a family. The vibe was amazing as usual. Warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming. The staff? Always incredible. They're genuinely friendly, super attentive, and their recommendations never miss. Now the FOOD. We ordered a mix of sweet and savory, and every single item delivered: The peach pecan streusel crêpe was pure comfort warm, buttery, and perfectly balanced with that sweet, nutty crunch. I usually get extra caramel drizzle. The French toast crêpe. Imagine your favorite brunch classic leveled up into something soft, rich, and absolutely indulgent. The Nutella and banana crêpe is a crowd pleaser, especially for kids. It's creamy, chocolatey, and just the right amount of sweetness. The turkey, goat cheese, and avocado panini brought the savory side. The flavor was great, and came with kettle chips. The drinks were just as fun and unique. The butterfly pea flower lemonade, was not only refreshing but visually stunning. We also got the mango soda and a blueberry soda, both bursting with flavor and kid approved. Everything about Café Davina just hits right. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel good, and then leave already planning your next visit. If you're looking for amazing crêpes, a cozy vibe, and consistently great service. This place is it!

Some friends and I ended up here after realizing the Gourmet Burger Bistro closes early on New Years Day (oops), but honestly it worked out in our favor. I've been seeing Amici's floating around online for YEARS and just never got around to visiting ... but better late than never because babyyyy the food was hittin'. Y'all do NOT judge a book by its cover. From the outside it definitely gives a little "divey neighborhood spot," but the food? FYE. Way better than you'd ever expect walking in! Now I gotta talk about this Caesar salad. When it hit the table, I made a face at my homegirl because why did I see tomatoes in my Caesar salad!? In all of my almost 34 years of life I've never seen that before. But listen, I took one bite and had to humble myself because it was honestly one of the best Caesars I've ever had. Got me right together. We also got the hot caprese queso appetizer with foccacia bread and it was absolutely delicious. My chicken parmesan pasta was also amazing. I put the leftover caprese queso on top of the pasta and it was a wrap from there! Me and all my friends agreed that the food was really good despite our first impressions. I'm officially adding Amici's to my list of places to visit whenever I'm in Hampton Roads.

My husband and I visited this restaurant I believe a year or two ago we came one night for dinner and everything was delicious I'm not a big soul food person so every now and again I'll go out with my husband for a soul food dinner. Even though our first visit here was about 2 years ago we did visit this past Saturday with two other couples to celebrate our husbands for husband appreciation day which is the third Saturday in April always. We had reservations for Saturday at noon and we arrived right on time and our space was already set for us. Our waitress/bartender Alize took care of us... very personable ...very sweet... customer service was a 10 out of 10. I will make mention ahead of time I did order cornbread later on and I never got it :( Omg! I did call but no answer so I figured I would just go ahead and charge it to the game but I was definitely looking forward to trying the cornbread with my grits. The ambience inside is definitely welcoming the music is not blasting definitely a comfortable volume. The parking can be an issue but we didn't have one. Parking was available on the street and it was only a short walk for us to get to the restaurant. Our meals out of the six of us present I believe at least half of us ordered the catfish one person ordered the turkey chops and that was basically the gist of our meals. I don't think anybody ordered any straight up breakfast food but I will say everybody was in agreeance that this meal and dining experience was amazing! We will definitely be back soon and we definitely recommend you trying out this restaurant. My meal in particular I had the grilled catfish and created my grits with honey jalapeno and butter and oh my goodness everything was good from beginning to end. Our drinks were top-notch as well! The bartender even made up a drink for one of the wives at the table. She didn't know what she wanted but wanted to be surprised and she was pleasantly surprised she ordered another one. Our husbands enjoyed their surprise brunch even though they had some kind of inkling that something was happening because we did get shirts for them to wear to match each other... Such a fun Saturday and a great dining experience by all highly recommend you give them a try if you're in the area! Have fun and enjoy life :)

Not local, so just something to be aware of. First impression is strong. Specials, awards, and a "Top 25 Burger in the U.S. (2021)" recognition are clearly displayed when you walk in. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and ambition of the food. The interior is well thought out. Heavy gold-and-black design with light brown accent chairs gives it a polished, upscale feel without being flashy. Leather seating is in great shape, and the tall ceilings paired with black vertical boards make the space feel larger than it is. Lighting is excellent, especially considering there are very few windows. Music is smooth and casual, though to some it could be turned down just a notch. The kitchen is semi-open behind a half wall, which adds to the experience early on as cooking smells build anticipation. Toward the end of my visit, the space did get slightly smoky. I arrived to an empty restaurant, but by the time I left there were around 20-25 people dining. Service was a highlight. Randy showed exceptional hospitality and checked in consistently without hovering. Food hit the table in about six minutes, which is impressive, even considering I was the only guest at first. I ordered the Major Way burger with sautéed onions, bacon, and their house drip sauce. The patty came out piping hot with a great exterior sear, though the interior flavor relies heavily on the sauce. The onions were almost cold, which stood out against the hot patty. The sauce is excellent, creamy with a light spice, and it absolutely carries the burger. Without it, the burger would feel underwhelming by comparison. The bun could benefit from toasting, as the bun struggled to hold everything together. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. If ordering to go, I'd recommend getting the buns on the side. Traditional wings were done right. Crispy outside, moist inside, and good-sized whole wings. They're essentially well-executed fried chicken wings. While very good, I feel like some seasoning may be burning off in the fryer. I'd love to compare these to their sticky or "everything" wings. Colossal shrimp was excellent. Great batter, excellent house sauce, and perfectly cooked with real texture. The seasoning shines here without tasting burnt. The fries were standout. Easily some of the best I've had in a while. Skinny, twice-fried, fresh-cut potatoes with a (I think) honey BBQ dusting. I intentionally ordered a smaller portion so the photo isn't portioned to size. House-made fruit punch was fantastic. Sweet, clean, and refreshing without that artificial coating you get from bottled drinks. I also appreciate their use of paper bowls and plates instead of styrofoam. The restaurant was clean top to bottom, including the bathrooms, which is always a strong indicator of good management. Overall, this place punches well above its weight. In a larger city, food at this level would easily cost 2.5-5x more. If you're spending lunch money at major fast-food chains nearby, redirect it here. You'll leave full and without that post-fast-food regret.

As for me the Spicy Sausage Omelette was really really good. The sausage had a bite of heat but nothing crazy. Not sure what they used but don't stop - it was that good. We both also had Sweet Teas. We were warned from the start - they are dark and REAL sweet. Which for me was perfect. As for the service: there was one lady (dam forgot her name) taking care of all the guest and she did great. When I say taking care of - I mean everything. Bussing tables, sitting folks, taking orders, and cashing out. Again she was wonderful! The place is neat just like many have said before me. Old 80's type stuff on the walls and tables. Now let me address something that some past Yelpers clearly have an issue with. There are small indications of the owners political views within the location. Nothing crazy at all and unless you really look for it you won't notice. Some past yelpers I who clearly don't agree used this to bust down their Yelp review. That's ridiculous. If the owner wants to voice their opinion- they have every right. It's their place - with their money on the line and their time vested. They clearly treated every guest wonderfully and that's all you should really focused on. So looking for a very good meal (breakfast) at a nice little joint - go on in and enjoy. I'm sure we will be back and might even shoot for the lunch menu next time.

And downtown Suffolk is just beautiful and quaint, it feels friendly and idyllic. *Ambience: Extremely comfortable, super approachable, but also refined with lots of wood and brick, but open and airy, and lots of light. You walk in to a cocktail and bar area, with an incredible painted sign on the brick wall behind the bar, that is a total throwback. The bar is incredibly comfortable and open and warm feeling. There are hardwood tables and beautiful booths along with a private dining area in the back. Really couldn't ask for or want for a more comfortable environment. *Service: absolutely stellar, super friendly staff, our server could not have been nicer or more genuine, or had more of an "ownership attitude" as if the restaurant meant everything to her, and so did us being there. She knew everything on the menu, had great recommendations, and insured we were consistently taken care of. She truly missed nothing. Harper, the owner, came over to check on us and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. He couldn't have been nicer or kinder or more humble. Service was outstanding. *Food & Drinks: The food! The drinks! Oh man! I've been a "Yelp Elite Member" for almost 10 years and the food here at hT is near the top of all my reviews, hundreds of them. The highest quality ingredients, impeccably curated, ingeniously but simply paired, created with a true love for the art of cooking and the true joy of the consumer. This was obvious. We started with a Mainstream Manhattan and Old Fashioned from the bar. No ordinary bartender, she's a true mixologist/professional. Both drinks were excellent, no "simple syrup" used here, raw sugar cubes melted into the finest spirits, yummm! We order brussels sprouts from the appetizer menu everywhere we go and compare them. None have ever come close to our favorite, for a dozen years, until now. These were crispy on the outside, but juicy inside, flash fried to an al dente bite and finished (almost injected) with a cherry vinegar glaze that permeated every bite with sweet, tart perfection. We also started with the vibrant Camden County May Pea & Truffle Toast which was like a celebration of spring with a fresh, grilled baguette topped with fancy Italian truffle cheese (insane!), sweet tender may peas, and fresh pea shoots, all drizzled with olive oil for a fresh, earthy, and simple bite that captured the essence of this farm-to-table cuisine. For entrees we ordered the Ben Johnson's Soft Shell Crabs with remoulade and the Brown Sugar Brined Porkchop with pimp cheese, grits, and chard tomatoes with a side of hand cut fries with roast shallot mayo. Everything was stellar, no exceptions. I can honestly say this was **the best pork chop I've ever eaten, ever.** Tender, sweet, meaty and paired perfectly with the creamy cheese grits and the tang and smoke of the charred tomatoes. Ridiculously good! See my photos, too bad they don't come with "taste-o-vision", because, wow! The hand cut, skin on, double fried potatoes and roast shallot mayo were fantastic. As if that wasn't enough food, they also brought us stone ground cornbread, with a massive slab of rough salted butter, steamy, warm, soft, buttery perfection. I'm ready to go back now! *Value & Overall: I posted pictures of all menus and all prices. Their spirits and mixed drink selections from the bar are incredible. The food, service and ambience simply couldn't have been better. Prices, as you'll see, are exactly in line for what you get and an excellent value. Portions on everything were excellent and we ended up taking home quite a bit of food, which was also stellar the next day. I absolutely cannot recommend Harper's Table highly enough. This establishment, all parts of it, truly earn a five star review across the board with no exceptions. Have no hesitation, make a reservation, go, it will become an instant favorite.
