Totally unethical company. Just learned my doctor (who treats the homeless for free and is one of the most genuinely good people I know) uses FirstDigital for his clinic. The speed is terrible and can't keep up with the clinic's needs. When he tried to switch to another company with faster speed AND a lower price, FirstDigital threatened him with THOUSANDS in cancellation fees. My doctor then tried to get FirstDigital to at least MATCH the other company's offer, and they REFUSED. They're totally unwilling to work with him on a solution. Highly recommend others stay away. What a joke for service. I had them come to my home to switch out my old receivers for the new Genie type. At the time I had 4 tvs working and one in the box. I asked them to leave one extra receiver so I could just plug it in when I finished the unboxing. When it came time to install, I noticed the box was different than the others they installed. I called them to explain that they had left a Non-Genie type box. I was told they were aware of it. In fact, I was told that the box they left was incompatible with the genie system. They needed to send a tech out, for another service charge to switch out the receiver. I don't know how they stay in business treating their customers so poorly. Very bad ethics. I recommend that you DO NOT do business with them unless you have to. I'm forced to by my HOA. read more

These guys used to be Veracity Networks. They have fine print buried deep in the language of their new contract, and you agree to accept any changes they make when you sign up, that sets a penalty for canceling your plan equal to the remainder of the the contract, which auto renews whether you want it to or not. My phones haven't worked for almost a year, we just use our personal phones now, and no one is willing to fix them in spite of numerous attempts to get them repaired. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!! I want to cancel my plan, but it just auto renewed without my approval and the penalty for cancellation is almost $3K. read more

This company is comically bad. They literally require you to write checks and mail them back...an internet company that requires the usage of mail and has no online payment option. Just one of many examples I could cite to illustrate the ineptitude of this company. The ONLY reason this company exists is because CEO Wes McDougal is the son-in-law of Roger Boyer and (gasp) most of the contracts FirstDigital has are with Boyer Company developments. Sure wish we had another option up here at Foxpoint @ Redstone in PC. Bottom line....1st Digital is our only provider (for now)... sooooo tired of paying above market rates for below market service/speed. Once another provider is available I'll jump ship in a heartbeat! read more

Great when signal is good. I wish their was options of other cable/internet providers here where I live. We lost signal within a week and a half of being new costumers and it will take First Digital 2 weeks to come fix the problem! Very disappointed! read more

This internet is incredible, and not in the good way. The fact that we pay nearly $100/mo for less than 20/20 is just downright ridiculous. The apartment buildings I'm at have 100/100 fiber shared to the building, and every house is limited to 20/20. There is no actual reason why we're limited to 20/20, and for a while there was no per house limit. The only reason we're stuck at 20/20 is because they can make money off crap internet. I hope to god this company doesn't torture any more poor souls with their terrible, money-whoring speeds and quality. read more
