So everyone in my office has been raving about this place, and I finally decided to join in. My only regret is not having ordered sooner! I'm not 100% sure but I believe it is a local small owned business, and the quality of the food is absolutely amazing. Everything is fresh, made to order and they do not skimp on portions. They have an app, which makes it very easy to order today. I walked in to get my food and had a great experience, the person behind the counter was super sweet and friendly. Recently visited haven't been there for it's been a long while. It's gone way downhill. The fish was old. Didn't taste fresh or smell fresh. I got what used to be sushi. Rice is now just plain rice. Still a lot of food, but what good is it if the quality isn't there? It's unfortunate. Hopefully they change and improve back to the way they used to be. read more

Have returned several times for poke bowls with raw tuna as protein. My new favorite is 1/2 white rice, 1/2 sesame noodles as the base. I might try all sesame noodles next time. I've ordered poke bowls in numerous restaurants and Fish Bowl Kitchen seems to have more choices of base, toppings and sauces than other restaurants. I LOVE the oatmeal raisin cookies. I got the stuffed avocado bowl and I had a bit leftover that I had for dinner (note to self it's not as good later lol) my bf got their Korean rib bbq fried rice and that was really tasty! they call this the "Ahi Tuna Appetizer" (Customer Favorite). What a joke! I'm so upset I paid for 2 of these to-go. I don't understand how the restaurant felt good in their conscience about only putting 3 small snaggly pieces of tuna in my box. I had to search through all of the lettuce to find those minuscule pieces. I just threw the rest of the dish away. The lettuce was all soggy from the sauces they threw on it and the tiny (maybe 1 oz.) of tuna in the "Ahi Tuna Appetizer" is laughable. Are they just trying to screw people over and think they won't notice by hiding the small bit of ragety tuna under the soggy lettuce? It was my first and last time trying Fish Bowl. It's sad because I thought this was going to be a great new option for ahi tuna and pokè bowls. I loved the seared ahi tuna so much when I ordered it last week that I couldn't wait to order it again and told friends & family about it. Tonight we ordered 3 orders of it but were disappointed when it arrived. The tuna still tasted delicious, but the portions were literally HALF the size they were the last time. Last week I got 14 pieces in the seared ahi tuna order. Tonight, all three orders had only 7 slices of tuna instead of 14 - for the same price. The reason we ordered from Fish Bowl instead of other local restaurants that sell seared ahi tuna was because they portion size was better here... unfortunately this time it was only half the size. It was really disappointing to see this, especially after leaving my prior raving review and telling others about it (and then having them get only half the amount). Seven slices is not filling, and certainly not worth over $11. Since this happened with all 3 orders, I don't think I'll take the chance on ordering again and getting only half the amount we expect. read more

Tonight we ordered for the first time, their Kung pow chicken and their general tao's chicken. Both were extremely spicy. We ordered this food for our family which includes children and unfortunately, none of our kids could eat it. This is something we've never experienced when ordering from other Chinese restaurants. Most times we are allowed to choose the amount of heat in the dishes but they do not allow this. The general Taos chicken is doused in something comparable to Frank's hot sauce, which was in edible to the entire family. We couldn't even eat the rice that it was on. I'm extremely disappointed that we spent $60 on this meal, especially in this economy. We had to throw it all away:( read more
