    Rice Vermicelli combo :)
    Matthew O.

Solid place for Vietnamese food. It may be tucked into a corner of a plaza and easily missed, but I think this place is worth it to check out. The server here is friendly and food comes out pretty quick. It's not the most amazing ambiance, but let's be honest, you're here for the food. I got the Rice Vermicelli and it was solid. Generous on the portion sizes, with a good amount of shrimp, grilled pork, and a nice crispy egg-roll. Really a solid dish for a hot summer day. I definitely would not mind coming again to check out some other menu items :)

Craving a Thai tea boba? Green Mint has one of the best in Pinellas. Fresh flavor and just right amount of sweetness. Little pricier than most ($8) but worth it. Food is good too. Off US 19 in same lot as Fresh Market

I honestly think this place was okay, westernized taste & flavor. The lady that was working there had an attitude, and not so welcoming. It was my first time there and I needed time to look at the menu but I just feel rushed by her. Food was mediocre. Pretty pricey for the quality you get. Their egg rolls were okay as well. Wrapper was thick. Pho was alright, I like the Chinese donut that came with it tho. Meat was hard, and noodles were undercooked. Thai tea was great! Overall, wouldn't come here again.

Disappointing! My colleague and I are here based on the reviews and it was terrible. We ordered chicken and rice bowls and the jasmine rice was hard and a little cold when served and the chicken was dry. No flavor.

I have waited to write this review for a while because we just did not have a good experience here which goes against most reviews and I was trying to figure out how to word things as nicely as I could. Honestly, I don't get it. The spring roll was okay but honestly the best part of our entire meal was the Oreo Boba Tea (the reason for the 2nd star). My grilled chicken was dry and the entire dish lacked any real flavor. I even added stuff to try to help. Ben's Pho broth was really lacking flavor as well. He had to put in so much extra stuff in it to try to help it really wasn't funny. He eats Pho often. Also, the wrong noodles were used in the Pho which does change how the dish tastes as well as textures. Ben left his Pho there but I did take mine in hopes to be able to doctor it up but it just wasn't possible. There were just too many things off on both our meals.

Overdue for an update for Green Mint Asian Grill. Before this last time I visited it was over 7 years since I had been to this location. I'm so glad I came back. We ordered three items: chicken bao buns, Korean chicken, and the special combination bun bowl with pork and egg. All three of these options were so tasty and flavorful. I can't even say which one of the three were my favorite because they were all three very very good. I've had a kick for looking for Korean chicken lately and this one definitely is a hit! Everyone working here was especially friendly and helpful. It was clean and open, and updated. If you are not sure what to order, check out their tv screens, they have amazing pics of the food there. I would definitely come back and order more food here. I think Banh mi sandwiches and fresh summer rolls are the perfect portable treat to bring to the beach.

Enjoyed Green Mint so much that I ate here two days in a row! I kept coming back for their *"Korean style" style chicken wings. Yep, you read it right. The wings are double-coated, double-fried, wonderfully crispy, and topped with crushed peanuts and chives. So good! Note this is a "fusion" restaurant. I've tried many other dishes here, from their bun to their rice plates, bubble tea, and all of their appetizers. Their sausage and cheese corn dogs are really good quality, just one flavor type offered. *My reviews get flagged if I note a country now. So please forgive me, Yelp.

A bit out of way by US 19 and Enterprise Rd, but accessible via a back road. Went there after church, one of a very few Thai places open. Actually more of a Vietnamese place than Thai. There right after opening so self seated right away. Menus and water brought quickly. Other than carry out only a family of six there besides us. For starters my wife ordered the Shrimp Tempura and I the Fresh Shrimp Summer Rolls. My wife opted for the Salad Bowl with Chicken and I chose the Special Combination Rice. The appetizers came in a few minutes. My wife tasted the Shrimp Roll but didn't care for it, but I loved it. Just wished there was some spicy sauces, but just the Sriracha, which was mild. My wife did enjoy the Tempura Shrimp but again it lacked sauce with a kick. After about 15 minutes our meals came, right after the meals for the family and carry outs. Her Salad was very enjoyable but again lacked a good dressing. What's up with that? My Special was very disappointing. I had wanted stir fried but guess did not communicate well. It came with plain rice topped with a fried egg, a leaf of lettuce with 4 slices of tasty cucumber and grilled pork. The pork was tasty just not what I wanted. No desserts for my wife. Not even fruit, which we were told was saved for the Boba drinks? So my wife got a Strawberry Boba. It was good but very sweet. In checking Weight Watchers, it had half her points for the whole day. I think next time we'll look for a "real" Thai restaurant.

BM3 - Grilled Pork Banh Mi, Iced Vietnamese Coffee
    Ariana L.

This place is PHENOMENAL!!!! Prices are great, service was GREAT, and most importantly, the food is bomb. I had the shrimp summer roll, the pork banh mi, and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The Vietnamese iced coffee is a little over $5 and is huuuge - Starbucks could never. The banh mi bread was crusty and light, as it should be, and they nailed it on the flavor of the meat. The summer roll came with a thicc peanut sauce which really hit the spot. I highly recommend checking this spot out!

Delicious stop before a long afternoon. The pork Bahn mi was my favorite thing on the menu. The server was extremely nice and helpful. Food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. I am full to bursting for far less than $20!

This place is very cute and cozy. The staff was friendly and our food was brought out in a timely manner. I enjoyed all of our food that we ordered. My favorite was the Brown Sugar Boba. I would highly recommend this place.

It was crazy hot so we couldn't sit on the patio but at sunset it was still a stunning view. Kalby was an absolute pleasure to be serviced by. She was attentive and used her talents to help recommend entrees from the menu. Our starter was the bulgogi skewers which were perfectly balanced with sweet and Korean spice. The edamame was our least favorite dish. I did discuss this with kalby and the manager. The idea was there but poor execution. The gochujang sea salt...the gochujang just wasn't there and once you ate that top layer all you got was oily edamame, so much oil...you wouldn't need chapstick for the rest of the day. Then wins though came from the cocktails. Ours were delicious and my old fashion was spot on. Also in the win was the sunset sushi, beautiful and fantastic, along with Korean crispy chicken. The peanut sauce was the perfect balance to that meal. Now...what we also loved that should be permanently on the menu was the mochi. We had 4 of them and they were wonderful! Everyone should be able to experience these. But ocean hai on your list as a must try place for sure.

We had the nicest table right on the patio overlooking the beach and it was fantastic. Our server was pleasant when she was around, but it seemed like she went missing for long periods of time and always right when we seemed to need something. Service was generally slow and the restaurant wasn't super busy when we were there. Food was mediocre at best. We started with the bulgogi beef skewers and the ahi tuna apps. The skewers were sort of dry and chewy...and I don't know that they tasted like bolgogi. The tuna tartar app tasted heavily of lime and nothing else and the cuts on the tuna were pretty messy and made it a bit difficult to eat. The grouper entree was okay, but the piece of fish I got looked like a baseball in that it was thick and sort of round? It made it just kind of tough and overcooked on the outside and a little undercooked on the inside. The chicken fried rice was good, but nothing to write home about.

I got my food actually pretty quickly after my order was put in so I was surprised and it was piping hot. You pay at the front here, they don't give you a bill at your table. They accept cash or card. Not Apple Pay which they said they did. I told her I'd get my card in the car and she looked at me as if I was going to dine and dash. My husband got the pineapple fruit tea which was pretty good, I got the popcorn chicken and milk tea combo-- big mistake. They have three flavors to choose from for the chicken: salt and pepper, spicy and curry. I chose spicy but they were out so I went for salt and pepper. Upon receiving it I was handed a straw with it? I thought it was chopsticks, discovered it was a boba straw so I went back in and grabbed a fork, went back to the car opened up the popcorn chicken and took a bite. It was soggy. And the taste was not that great, and there was no sauce. I went back in to ask for sauce.. they had barbecue, ketchup and mayonnaise... like what? No sweet and sour sauce or at least ranch?? I mean sweet and sour is a staple for popcorn chicken in boba shops. As for my milk tea, it lacked the tea and tasted like straight up milk. One star for decent pineapple fruit tea and god textured boba. Now I'm not recommending that you not go to this place because to be honest, there's not a lot of choices when it comes to boba in Florida. am willing to give this place another chance, I'll be trying something else and staying away from the popcorn chicken!

I started the Brown Sugar Milk Tea; I thought that was basically Thai boba tea based on the menu picture, but I guess I was wrong. Still, it was sweet enough to be good and the boba was of good quality. I honestly cannot complain there! It's not easy finding a good boba tea place in West Florida so truthfully it was a nice palette cleanse to the things I've had at Clearwater Beach. Next I tried the Coconut Pandan Mochi Waffle, First off, finding anything containing Pandan is super rare in the East Coast, especially in Florida, so this was a great find. Taste wise? Oh man it hit exactly how I wanted to; Sweet, toasty, and almost melt-in-your-mouth. I definitely wish they had pineapple cream on the side for this but hey, just being able to eat Pandan in Florida is a dream come true. One thing that kinda threw me off was how different the end product looked compared to what was shown on the menu in regard to the milk teas; I will admit showing pictures tend to be a yellow flag for any restaurant or cafe, as it risks setting expectations too high, like I did with my drink. Still, a really nice little place to visit and I look forward to stopping by here again one day!
