I believe it would be helpful for the clinic to inform women in advance if the ultrasound technician will be male. While I understand the professional nature of these procedures, I was uncomfortable being asked to undress and have my body handled by an unknown male technician. Even in a medical setting, I feel it is important to be aware of the gender of the person performing the procedure so that women can make an informed decision about their comfort levels. I hope this feedback can be considered to improve patient experiences going forward.

Claim ends up thru WCB, after literally months of back and forth trying to get them to simply give the file to WCB I find out that in my file he had written down the wrong knee having issues! Apparently they can't accept email, everything has to be by fax?! They said they never got faxes, never got letters, even after I could confirm that they did. Go get the MRI, I call them a week later to ask if they got it... they tell me no, but the doctor will call me right after they get it... the next day WCB calls they got it on the Friday before and have already had a doctor write a report. I give Excel 3 more days, I call and they lie to me saying they only got the MRI yesterday! Doctor still hasn't called. It's not just a single doctor, it seems they have their front staff lying to clients and very hard to work with. I emailed them asking if they would take a complaint before I posted this.... they haven't bother to respond.

Then I'm taken back to one of the patients' rooms and have to wait another 30 minutes before the dr. comes in. After explaining my issue and history with back problems, and how I've never had any sort of scan performed to get a deeper understanding of what might be the cause, I'm told to take muscle relaxants, watch physio videos on YouTube, and wait to see what happens. Wow, I should've been a doctor... Even after confirming my name when he walked in, the dr mistakenly pulls up another patient's information on his computer and is glancing at that throughout the visit, mentioning how I've been on another medication previously for pain (which is not correct because he's not looking at my file). All this is realized as I'm walking to the pharmacy afterwards however, as I was ultimately handed a prescription with someone else's name and insurance info on it. So, I've just been told about another patient's personal medical history with pain meds and have the ability to use his name and insurance to get a prescription... By this point the dr had already began assisting another patient, so I'm told by staff to wait AGAIN until he's finished so the prescription can be corrected!! Brilliant. Decided I had enough of my time wasted and walked out. Stunned by the mismanagement and inefficiency of this clinic.

Ended up cancelling as she even changed my location further without notifying me or asking me. How hard is it to do both at the same time? No wonder why our health care system is the way it is. Even tho I spent more than 6 hours waiting in the emergency room, once it was determined my appendix was leaking, the surgeon and his team moved forward and surgery took place. Dr. Taylor, as you may have seen on my health records, I am a cancer patient, I have had so many ultrasounds and ct scans over the last 5 years, I think my body rebelled at having to be subjected once again. I sent her a letter outlining how I feel, but that I still need a neurologist that will listen. She declined, with malice. Don't let this doctor muddy up your file, please, please, find another. Usually i take pills 7 days/week. I have also lower back problems when i have walked or trained. The lower back is really good now and not painful after long walks. My headaches are almost gone. Some days i dont feel anything, such a good feeling and strange at the same time. I have taken 5 treatments all together, also for shoulder and runners knee. She had just helped a fellow who was suffering concussion effects for 13 years and that was good enough for me. In my first session, she seemed to be able get inside my concussion as she pointed out things that I was experiencing, but couldn't articulate. I find her to be thorough and creative as she performs tests that target my injuries versus other doctors I've encountered who go through a set of rote tests that miss what Dr. Lisa finds. Finally Dr. Lisa is generous with her knowledge and time. I ask her a multitude of questions in my sessions because I'm trying to learn what's happening with my brain, and Dr. Lisa is down-to-earth and answers them all and explains in terms that I understand.
