Went by this afternoon to grab two ornaments for a Christmas party tonight. I had a problem with my debit card being unknowningly blocked. After trying several times, I called the bank just to find out I had to get a new card. I went back to ask them to hold the ornaments, I would be by tomorrow. They handed me the ornaments and said 'Merry Christmas, please take them and come back by when you can'. WOW!! What Christmas spirit!! My first time in the store ... loved it. So very cute!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... This store is adorable and I've really been trying to shop local so I purchased 2 swivel chairs from Fish River Mercantile. I was told they would be delivered in their original boxes but they were delivered in trash bags..then I noticed there was a rip in one of the chairs (that supposedly had a really "durable" fabric.) I called to see what could be done and NO ONE will help me. I have called several times but it seems that if you are not one of their wealthy interior design clients you are ignored. If they would have just made it right I would still shop there and recommend to friends and family. read more

Disregard the negative reviews about this establishment! I have been going there since they opened, different days different times of day, and they have always been top-notch; friendly and accommodating. This establishment is busy in person and behind the scenes even if you don't see any other customers in there. If you've never worked retail, don't be a Karen My only complaint is that they sometimes don't serve mimosas lol or run out of champagne! read more

My comment was deleted on Facebook so I will do a review. I very rarely give reviews but this behavior was so bad it needed to be mentioned. Cute store but whoever the man in charge was yelling at his employees, made shopping very uncomfortable. He was loud and derogatory telling the employee he was tired of this crap. I felt so bad for his employees. He was very unprofessional and shouldn't be working in retail. He was so rude to them. You should never yell at employees, especially in front of customers. No one should be treated that way. I will not go back to support this small business even though they had really cute items and friendly helpful employees. Update: I got a message in messenger from the store saying my comment was hidden and that they wanted to reach out and see if my experience was up to standards followed by another message saying we can see it now lol. So basically they/he find it funny to treat employees that way. Obviously he didn't care if my experience was up to standards. No apology for the behavior. I guess he doesn't seem to care if he loses customers. I can find other home decor stores to shop at that are easier to shop in and have a friendlier atmosphere. Also this store is hard to shop in because of small aisles and so much is jammed in there. 2nd Update: Gave feedback on my experience in the store via my square receipt. Tried to find copy of it but Square doesn't show it. It is exactly like my post on his facebook page that was deleted and what I wrote above. His responses are below in the pics. He is the owner. long story short... I ordered a couch and chair from store. The slipcover on the couch started knitting (not sure if that's what it's called). Talked to store owner oh don't worry, we sold at least five of those couches all did same thing. company is remaking covers. this was last June I believe. after having to constantly call them because he never would answer my calls. he told my decorator last fall that he was waiting on it should be about two weeks. well, I kept calling no response from him. people at store would take me name/mumber. no response from him. well today almost 8-9 months later. lady that answered store phone told me he said that I needed to call the company!! what? my daughter owns a small business. you don't treat customers like this if you want their continued business. so I guess now I own an expensive sofa that looks like I got it at a used furniture sale. do not buy anything from this store!! he is not reliable for anything. now I'm hearing all these stories about how he lies! well guess those stories are true!! read more

Darling store! I have been wanting to drive over from Daphne since before Christmas; I have enjoyed following their Facebook page. Finally went in yesterday looking for a gift, and I found a couple of cute things that were very "springlike" and lovely, as well as a new set of steak knives (my husband was with me!). The storefront was so attractive, and the merchandise was great and so nicely displayed. I really hope they do well, and I will probably go back. I do however want to say that the two employees were not very friendly...barely a hello when we came in and no conversation during our entire visit. Now I do not want or need someone all over me when I'm gift shopping, believe me, but just a little polite smile and "let me know if you need help" goes a long way! Especially when people are obviously going out of their way to drive there. read more
