Fish might do a good job on brand new screen less windows, but don't expect anything near clean on windows that are older or have screen. Only uses power washing, no "elbow grease" was used. read more

Matt!!!! He's absolutely amazing! We live in a 1907 building on the West End of Portland it was built as an apartment building and we're on the second floor. We all have very high ceilings so reaching our windows from the outside is not easy. Matt came 1000% prepared for any number of challenges and the job he has done is nothing short of spectacular. We bought our apartment got it down to the studs; not a single wall still in place, and renovated it to the 9s. Our contractor insisted that window cleaning was a major improvement, and it took us a year toooo believe he was right. Oh my gosh! It's incredible! We've already rebooked Matt for next May. I can't recommend him or Fish more highly! Scheduling is definitely a challenge so believe them when they say you should schedule six months plus out... They book up unbelievably fast. read more

We pointed out the 5 windows in my office and one of the workers was like I'll have someone else do these. Super lazy, not quality work, misses details. I seldom complain about service because I've been in the service industry my whole life and understand things happen, however, this warrants a complaint. Two young men cleaned my windows, I didn't check their work before they left - my fault. And, I tipped them! When I got a follow up call from customer service I told them there were several squeegee marks on the windows and a lot of the windows weren't clean. I also expected them to clean the windows with ACs to the best of their ability. I was told they can't remove them but, I wasn't told they won't even clean the accessible areas. When the guys came back I removed the ACs and they did clean those windows. One of the guys and I went to a window to discuss the issues. He re-mopped and squeegeed and told me that was the best he could do. He said because the house is so old (1989) the vinyl dust won't come off. I went and got an all purpose cleaner and in less than 20 seconds I cleaned the "vinyl stained area." I showed the guy but, there were a million and one reasons why he couldn't clean them. He kept referring to my old house (1989) and vinyl windows (wood.) In all fairness, the jambs are covered in vinyl but I don't believe that was the issue. They suggested I call their boss who confirmed they couldn't clean the vinyl stained windows. He asked if my house was vinyl sided and I told him it was not. When I told him I cleaned one of the panes and showed his employee he said he would have them try cleaning the windows with a scrub sponge (or something to that effect). Shortly after my conversation with the owner, one of the young men told me it would be double the price per window to come back and clean them with a special chemical. I again said I had just used a simple all purpose cleaner and it worked. Nope, not hearing it. They never tried the scrub sponge, they just left. Now I have to clean my windows after paying them to do the job. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I wish I had used a credit card so I could dispute the service but, they requested I pay with a check and deposited it immediately. When they first returned to address the issues I told them I was sorry they had to come back and one of the guys said "don't worry, we do it all the time. We do a lot of houses on the water and the windows never come clean." I guess that says it all. read more

I have used this company for several years, several times in my Falmouth home and now in my North Yarmouth home. I couldn't be more pleased with their service. They do an excellent job, the young men they send are friendly and polite and most of all I would trust any of them in my home without feeling like I have to follow them around. It's hard to find excellence and honesty. I have fifty double sash, eight over eight, all individually paned windows...today each and every pane is sparkling, they also cleaned the sills. I am one happy old lady! I only have my windows cleaned one a year because it is an expensive endeavor but well worth it to have it done properly, it even lasts longer done right. I just read the review posted last month by a job seeker at Fish.....Thank you Mr. Fish for not hiring this nitwit. read more
