The women that I worked with for pricing an appointment was super sweet. She sent out the a person to estimate immediately and gave me a very reasonable price based on my need for both inside and outside, screens, and window incasings. My window are the rollout type of windows on an A frame house to set the scene. What arrived to do the actual work were teens, not that I age discriminate but I don't think they were old enough for Rate at R movies yet. But hey so I thought they are young and had the energy to do the work, right? WRONGO! The quality of their work was laughable...to a point since I was paying them. They got to "work" one kid on the outside with a MY hose not a powerwasher...and the other inside, there was a 3rd boy but he must have been the projwct manager because I saw him once. When the kid on the inside "finished" the 1st window he asked me if it was okay? I went over to look and I'm like which window did you do? It was so bad I couldn't see the difference. He literally took window cleaner sprayed the window and wiped it clean....that's it! The screens and the inside casings were not touched. I showed the kid the order which listed screens and casings. His comment oh I didn't know that, he quicky did a once over. When they were done with the reachable windows I asked them about the high windows, ya know the ones I can't reach and hired them to do, one boy said wow sorry we can't do those high top windows we don't have a big ladder. I showed him the quote again and he said well we can't do either inside or out. I stood there in a amazement. I could barely get words out I was in shock. I gave them the check and sent them off. Sorry no tips I lost enough money on this. It's no wonder they call themselves Fish Windows, it's not just in their name but they apparently use fish to clean them too. My windows were worse when they left and I ended up redoing the ones I could reach. No I didn't call them, to say what? tell them they suck? Nah not to mention...A. I didn't want them back and....B. I'll just hire another company this season worth the money. read more

Several years ago Fish Window Cleaning, I believe from Wallingford, sent two lovely men- one younger and one older . They did a fantastic job cleaning the windows by hand. Using a ladder they did a great job on the hardest one for me - the dining room window. So I called again this year. This time several young guys came, didn't tell me they were going to power wash, stayed a half hour for over $500 and my windows are terrible. That dining room window is spotted and dirty. Tried to wash the front window but whatever they used is hard to get off and get really clean. And the front window is double paned and the water got between the two. Called to complain, lady said owner would come out or call me and he never did. Very disappointed. Would never use again! read more

Used Fish window cleaning today for the first time. One of the drivers was the estimate, which was very reasonable. They were good to schedule my appointment and then reschedule due to COVID-19. We had never had our windows professionally cleaned before but after the crew from Fish Window Cleaning came in, the difference was like and night and day! They cleaned all the windows inside and out, including some 2nd story windows that were too high for us to reach, and they took off and cleaned all the screens too. The only reason for the 1 star is that the website would not accept the review without any stars! I absolutely would NEVER recommend this business because of their shady business practice and downright rudeness. When we originally called to get an estimate, we were told that they come, check the site, and then give us a written estimate... and that nobody needed to be home. When the workers arrived to do the job they claimed that the written quote that we were given, after a site visit was made, was incorrect. They wanted 15% more to do the job that they had quoted IN WRITING. When we called to question that, the owner blamed US for not telling them the type of windows we have (His employee did the site visit) and was downright rude on the phone. We would not do business with them given our bait and switch experience, the fact that they refused to standby their estimate, and the attitude of the owner towards his customers. After a good friend raved about the great job that Fish Window Cleaning had done, I thought I would give this service a try...what a mistake! Not only did they show up late, they left 4 screens out (two left outside), did not reattach wireless security device on two windows and failed to re-lock ALL of the windows (all had been locked prior to their arrival). Worse yet, sills were not washed on the casement windows. Two workers showed up and in 1 hr and 45 min later I was charged $268. My friend who had recommended them, and whose house is only half the size, paid one hundred dollars less, had 3 workers who spent 21/2 hours. Why the difference? read more
